Dirty, apparently unused toilet brush.

On a Saturday, the busiest day of the week, is when they decide to restock. Not overnight, so as not to block the isles and prevent customers from going down the isles, but right on the middle of the busiest shopping day. The employees treat the customers trying to get by with distain. Not moving out of the way. I'm surprised no customers have tripped and fallen over the pallets blocking the isles. The time before there was a young lady restocking the carts from the parking lots. She was pushing a few strays back into the cart return and I asked if I could get one. Instead she shoved them as hard as she could. I said "ohh, I wanted one of them", she pointed to the far end of the store or front sand said you could have gone over there and got one. What I should have done instead of turned around and left. This was a nice store when it opened but now the customer service is terrible. The bathroom is filthy the floors are scarred and filthy. I can't say I'll never return but it will only be for something I can't get anywhere else.

This store is growing on me.

I really enjoy the "Mr. P" cola and cherry cola flavored sparkling water, so, I went back tonight to buy more. Interestingly there were post-it's on every channel strip marked with fraction type numbers for every item on the shelf in store. Is this Lidl's way of taking fiscal inventory? Is this algebraic phenomena? Besides Mr. P I did buy some chips, bagels, seasonally flavored Clif Bars @ .99 each and Lidl's seltzer water. 16 one liter bottles. Here's my dilemma: there are new flavors: grapefruit, black cherry, mango and raspberry lime. Grapefruit was line priced with original, orange, lemon and lime at the fair price of .55 each. They were on sale last week at 5/$2 but I couldn't make the trip. The other three were priced at .77 each. There is a legacy grocer with at least a dozen flavors of one liter seltzer at .59 or 2/$1 on sale. Probably from the same bottler. I'll guess Polar. Aldi's cousin Traitor Joe's have their own funky flavors of natural sparkling water at .79. The point of a deep discounter is value. Just a little disappointing as these new flavors are not boutique items and should be line priced with the segment. Just saying, I have options closer to home. That said, I'm excited to have Lidl coming to my 'hood very soon. They're doing most everything right and I'm a believer.

Lidl comes through every time with the best selections and great prices. Glad to see the shelves are being restocked daily. This is my new favorite grocery store and you should make it yours too. Hopefully there is a Lidl near you. New store are opening everywhere. I highly recommend this establishment. My new favorite grocery store

Grand Opening - it's like Aldi on Steroids, the staff was very helpful and friendly. This store has name brand and money friendly items. The bakery doughnuts was soft! This store had a variety of items.... gave me a flea market type of feel... I guess it was the sewing machine that threw me off! Overall its a market you still have to self bag. It has a double bagger so you don't have to wait for the person in front to move out of the way! This one doesn't sell wine or beer.

Almost as if aldi and Walmart has a baby and someone forgot to raise the prices (and added a bakery).

When asking when something may be ready you get "10 minutes" and 30 mins later still waiting... sad. Used the seafood counter for Super Bowl get together and while the shrimp were cooked perfectly and food tasted amazing they "forgot" they had to make 2 platters not just one. So had to wait for that to cook then they couldn't find a platter to use with the shrimp so just asked them to bag. Again ... sad. This store has the taste and the quality just need to find the employees that actually care and want to work.

Ryan said, " iv never heard of such a policy". When I said Safeway, Shop Rite and major grocers honor this law because it is an incovienance to the shopper. He threw the 49 cents difference at me and barked, "We don't do that here". Safeway: "We guarantee the accuracy of our electronic checkout system. She decided to wear a political themed tee shirt that was reflective of many of the rioters burning down America's cities this past summer. I get that because of her specific ethnic group. But what I don't get is that this same person individual walked into Aldi's with the intent of buying the entire store out of merchandise. Her cart was stacked and loaded a foot over the rim of the shopping cart. She brought along a calculator to add the merchandise up as it was being rung up by the cashier. Problem is, the cashier was much more efficient and had everything calculated as she was barely into her grocery count. Meanwhile, the line was forming and it grew 10-12 deep as she debated the clerk. I had enough and sprang into another line after waiting 15 minutes minimum. Aldi does not encourage this type of shopping. They are efficient and have very good cashiers who will ring up your groceries quickly. I breezed through the other line, bagged my groceries and was heading out the door when this same woman had her check book out with the cashier going through her bags as she debated him over something. My advice to her, ring up your damn groceries on your calculator as you place them in the basket and not at checkout.

I was out of state for about a month and decided to come back to Walmart to stock up on some groceries. Big Mistake! 3 registers open and the lines were going thru the clothing sections. The self check out had about 30-40 people in line. I hear that "many prices" in Walmart have dropped. Funny...I only find the ones going UP. The month that I was gone, coming back I can see a price difference. This used to be the nicest Walmart around, but not anymore. It's dirty, shelves are not stocked, bathrooms are disgusting, lunch meat goes bad before the expiration dates and most of the people who work there just don't care! On a good note, they removed the glass cases for the detergents. Since no one ever came to help you get what you needed, customers would just break in to get the items. The Pick up parking spots are filled with MEN SITTING UNDER THE TREE not waiting for their orders. Sometimes I see people pulling in and going into the store to shop. What's up with that? They need someone monitoring. But it's probably safer if they don't. Some of the people that come to this store are a bit unhinged! I've had SEVERAL delivery orders screwed up. 1. Not even delivered to my house. 2. Took my groceries for a trip into the city before coming to my house an hour late, (County). 3. Missing items repeatedly. 4. Someone actually gave me stuff from their trunk (personal belongings). 5. Wrong items. 6. Rotten fruit. On a good note...for real this time...Every time I've called Customer Service about a problem with my delivery order, it has been resolved to my satisfaction. Kudos to those people that care enough to help disgruntled customers. Do better Walmart. It appears that your bottom dollar means more than Customer Satisfaction. Soon or later the people will revolt!
