So I'm doing the keto diet and I had an insane craving for butter pecan ice cream after 11pm one night. So a quick google search reveled that Rebel Ice Cream is a company that produces keto friend ice cream AND they offer Butter Pecan flavor as an option!!! OMG!!! So then I look to identify the grocery stores that have it near me and the closest one just happened to be Martin's (was over an hour away - coming from DC). I told my husband and he was game so we commenced to begin our hour+ trip to Martin's. Now, I must say that Martin's would've never been on our radar. We had never heard of it until that night and it's no where close to our home, but a little after midnight one night, we found ourself in the middle of Martin's perusing through their aisles. We were on a mission that night, so our experience at Martin's was limited to searching for the ice cream aisle, but while there we noticed that the facility was extremely clean and very well organized. We were in-and-out in less than 10 minutes. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait! The Butter Pecan ice cream was well worth the 2+ hour drive and I have Martin's to thank for helping me with my late night craving and me not cheating on my diet! If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend stopping by there. From what I saw in the short time that we were there, it seems to be a pretty solid store!

I ordered a cupcake cake for my son's Baptism. A simple cross cake. It looks absolutely horrible.

I was waiting in the cashier line and the woman in front of me couldn't afford a turkey for the holiday.

This location fits the bill for what the Aldi business plan is, completely. Obviously, local competition has far more options for everything you'd need, but you can definitely get a majority if your groceries here, unless you're looking for brand-name everything. Some brand name items are here, but it's mostly their house-brand. Don't forget to bring your own bags, and a quarter for the cart, and then have fun!

Same with chips & other numerous snack items. Daily prices for bread/roll products and fresh vegetable items and condiments are like sale prices in other stores. Bake at home pizzas are also good buys. The store is a bit small compared to the other local large food stores, but Aldi's focus is on great prices for the daily item needs of most households. The mechanisms on each cart requires a refundable 25 cent cart fee that is meant to guarantee Aldi carts are returned by the user or someone else & that is why the lot is never cluttered with Aldi carts & they stay in great shape, which most shoppers appreciate! The cashier staff are extremely well trained & are courteous & all business when it comes to getting your items through the checkout - easily the best process I've ever seen. The staff that stocks the store shelves are also very friendly & top notch keeping shelves stocked & uncluttered! The Eldersburg store is also kept very clean. TRY IT, & YOU'LL LIKE IT!!!

We were here to pick up last minute goods for a graduation party. But let's talk about the little sandwiches and rolls they made in the catering department. Those things were delicious! They put them together to perfection, they were ready on time, and they were delicious! We had steak, chicken, and tuna salad little sandwiches on croissants. I'm definitely going to order from Wegmans again, especially those items. They were perfect! But back to the store itself. They will pretty much have everything you need. They have some of my favorite items like frozen jasmine rice in individual packets. You can get them in white or brown. They're both delicious. I also love the frozen vegetables. They have the best selection of frozen vegetables. Especially frozen spinach. Most grocery stores only give you the champ. Spinach, Wegmans will give you the whole leaf frozen spinach. I love that. And their quinoa cakes are divine. They're frozen vegetables and foods. Selection is top notch!

When we arrived on time, the lady at the counter informed us that she hadn't even started making them yet even though we put the order in an hour ago. Ok fine, it's busy in the store-not at the deli counter from what I can see though. Then she starts making them and she starts listing all the ingredients they don't have that we ordered, if you have an online order service, you need to mark off the ingredients you are out of. So we recustomize our subs and somehow she still messes them up, wrong size, wrong ingredients, missing ingredients, added ingredients that we didn't order, wrong bread. And it took her 20+ mins to make 2 subs. Will not be ordering here again.

Though my grandmother used to love and shop at the long closed dundalk location, so I grew up with Santoni's. Oddly enough, if I look out my apartment window, I can see the building where the dundalk store once resided. We needed a pie, because it was pi day. In the past, Jeremy and I have visited much larger, chain grocery stores on pi day, we've come up empty-handed. Santoni's did not disappoint. We got a gorgeous lemon meringue pie, and it was discounted several dollars, which made it all the sweeter. The store is small, but clean with an air about it that suggests that the owners are proud of it. They should be.

There is no place to sit down and eat; maybe Santoni's missing a bet through this decision? Yes, Santoni's will separate you from your money (an Oatmeal canister is double the cost found in a full-sized grocery), but you will be happy with anything they make here from scratch, and your stomach will be too. In the past they also have done a top-notch job with catering orders. If you are ordering an office lunch, look no further!
