When I pointed it out to the cashier, the reply was "the price on the display is wrong" - no apology or other explanations or offering me to still charge me accordingly to what the tag said. They just called someone to change the tag. When I asked about the manager or someone in charge, they said that no one there is available. Instead of appreciating customers and trying to be nice, they just simply don't care.

Kale was priced at 1.49 per pound but they were all out (2/4/23). At Giant Kale is $2.99 a pound right now! Not a huge selection of lettuce. They only had romaine in a package. Fresh herbs priced at 1.99 a pack. Loose potatoes, onions and tomatoes reasonable priced. Huge selection of Hispanic snacks, seasonings, canned goods. Some are the same you'd see in the grocery's store but there's a nice selection of seasonings and sauces I've never seen before. There's also small kitchen and butcher. I understand that working in customer service can be stressful, but a little kindness goes a long way. A friendly greeting, some patience, and a positive attitude would make a big difference and create a much more welcoming experience. The farm is beautiful and the animals are obviously taken good care of. I was able to meet the owner, who was working in the store. She was very nice and answered all of our questions. She encouraged us to try a cut of meat I hadn't purchased before and gave me some great tips on how to prepare it. The store also has a wide variety of locally made products ranging for bakery items to jams/jellies to some delicious cocktail mixers. They also had a variety of beautiful fruits and veggies. If you are of the growing trend of consumers realizing the importance of knowing where your food comes from and how it is produced, this is a great option. I'm so lucky to have found LD and that the farm is close.
