We're doing a major Christmas shopping extravaganza with my mom and we've already been here for two hours. I was able to find all the things I wanted though, including a $20 immersion blender. This is the third one we've had in ten years. At this price I won't feel so sad when it breaks, too. Not the worst Christmas shopping trip at Target, but more open registers would be welcomed.

The problems with this store are not local. Meaning I've been to a LOT of CVS s in Md over the…read moreyears, because they take my insurance, or I would go elsewhere. Most of the issues result from company policy. The company went from trying to be open 24 hours with locations everywhere and with insufficient staffing to accomplish the task. Legal action happened as a result. Instead of hiring more staff now they close for 30 minutes so the current one can get a break and reduced their hours. This location is one of the few that I've seen that HAS a public bathroom. This was my primary pharmacy for 4 years. Most of them are nice, considerate, and compassionate, and some of them still remember me after moving away for 3 years and only coming in intermittently because the one I switched to in my area are twice as slow with half of the business and most of them seem bothered that they have to help you. I've never felt that way at the Nottingham store. I had to go back there recently because my pharmacy couldn't refill my meds due to shortages. My local CVS didn't call me, or otherwise attempt to talk to me. I checked the app and it went from available Monday, to being on hold, with no supply. They didn't call other stores for me and I can't- they won't tell me, company policy due to theft. I still haven't heard from them. My doctor sent my following month Rx to Nottingham and I got it the same day, and the person at the register remembered me, explained about supply issues and that they too had just gotten in back in stock. Anyway, all pharmacies are overworked. They have to deal with your doctor, your insurance company and then you, they are understaffed and underpaid and under-appreciated. They usually never catch up no matter how hard they work and yet CVS corporate doesn't understand why people don't want to work there. I would give the store higher based on that information but they are the ones that pay for the company's policies but that isn't fair either. Thus my 3 stars.

Best market ever. Always clean and FRESH. It's 24 hours which is good for someone like me and I'm always going there after the gym right in the same shopping center. This Weis is nice because parking is easy, there are self check out lines, and it's never too crowded (unlike the Giant at White Marsh). Good experiences so far with a helpful pharmacist there too. Holding back on 5th star because sometimes I can't find specific specialty items there. read more

As promised, she kept track of the prescriptions as they came in, double checked that everything was OK and did so cheerfully. There was one prescription I was hesitant to transfer due to the lengthy process it took to get approved. Tricia told me what she could do and when and how I could cancell it if I wanted to keep it at the old, bad place. I mean talk about above and beyond, this was surprise and delight! The rest of the store was clean, well organized and filled with really friendly folk. I left another Harris Teeter because I could not say nice things about their service. Had I known how great this store and Tricia are, I could have saved myself the hassle of the mail order pharmacy and supported Harris Teeter as their company values mean a lot to me. Again, Tricia is a perfect example of why Harris Teeter is worth supporting despite the bad service at the Whitstone Way store.

I would purchase this combination of items almost every day. I would constantly deal with this white cashier, who would also ask for ID. Now, here me out. There is nothing wrong with a seller of alcohol asking a buyer of alcohol for his ID. I always presented my driver's license to the lady. However, one day, I got tired of checking out the beer first. Instead, I checked out the food, telling the cashier that I would check out the beer/show ID after ringing up the 5 spicy chicken tenders with fries. She ignored me and checked out only the food. I explained how I wanted to purchase the beer as well, and the cashier scolded me in a condescending manner, stating that I would have to pay for the alcohol. Cofused and embarassed, I quickly apologized and moved on to pick up my food. I walked to the food area to pick up my 5 spicy chicken tenders with fries. There, another white employee ignored me as I explained what had happened to the cashier. He walked away, shunning me. He came back and asked, "What did you get?" After being confused and embarassed a second time, I defensively responded, "You tell me. I have been coming here every day now..." It was soon afterwards that the employee hastily prepared my order. You think whatever you want. The point here is that these two employees made me feel like I was not a valuable customer. Don't pay people to disrespect you.
