It was a seamless process. The CVS closest to me used to give vaccines, but, according to the Doc, they no longer do which was why I had to come to this store. When I arrived I was surprised by the Minute Clinic space. It's set up similar to the waiting area in a doctors office. It was clean, bright, and welcoming. There was one other woman waiting and we both assumed the doctor was with somebody. I waited approximately 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time when she came out with her previous appointment. The woman ahead of me just needed to have her TB test read so she was in & out. Once in the office, everything was explained. The prices for the vaccines were posted on the cabinet. You can schedule regular vaccines (like the flu & COVID), which is what I received. But it is also a Travel Clinic for vaccines needed to travel abroad such as yellow fever, typhoid, etc. I had planned to get a few vaccines, but once I saw the prices..... OUCH! I opted to visit my local VA Hospital where I was able to get them there. She was efficient and my visit wasn't long. Everything she needed was in that space. I was however, surprised that most of the store items were locked behind glass/plexiglass. It was my first time seeing this in a CVS. My only guess is that they've experienced a lot of shoplifting, even though this area didn't seem to fit that description (in my opinion, but I don't live here). I'm down with the Minute Clinic.
