I had a great dining experience with my family on Father's Day at Lib's Grill. We enjoyed everything that we ate- especially the scallops and oysters. All of the staff seemed really happy and everyone had a nice time. Thanks for a great meal! read more

This place. Omgosh. Highly recommended- the drinks are out of bounds fabulous, the seafood is uber fresh and amazing, the service is top notch! Perfect for family gatherings, friend meet up and l couples night! We will be back- secret gem and worth every penny! read more

Have had good experiences with food & service, however was recently there & sat at the bar. Food was great, but had extremely poor service. Drinks were not made as ordered & staff seemed very preoccupied & inattentive. Will still give it another try & hopefully have different bar tenders since we enjoy sitting at the bar. Food is always on point. read more

2 stars only for the atmosphere, my burger was so dry it crumbled and I got it medium ‍ no sauce on the burger not even ketchup and the buns were cold & not toasted read more

Lib's offers an innovative menu with items expertly prepared. We enjoyed Brussels Sprouts fried in Siracha-soy sauce and honey, a club sandwich with crab cake and shrimp salad (Baltimore Club), candied bacon, lobster roll, and more conventional fare. The peppercorn and Bourbon filet and the BBQ glazed short ribs were a big hit. We also enjoyed several types of oyster from the raw bar. A fair wine list and great desert selection helped our caloric indulgence. Michael, our server, was attentive and friendly. The big drawback for me was excessive noise. The din was nearly painful. Had we not been meeting others there I would have made a U turn at the door. Still, some must like the noise. The restaurant and lounge were packed. Hopefully we can find a less active period and finish working through the wonderful menu. read more

Libs is amazing! The only reason me and my coworkers go to Libs is because of Tonya! Her service, personality, and attention to detail is flawless! We will continue to go to Libs wonderful establishment, as long as they continue to hire the caliber of people like Tonya( which they are doing, all staff is great). Thanks for the great time at Libs! read more

The tuna tartare was very good and we would've stayed for a second drink and maybe more food but that bartenders were completely inattentive. So we will not come back here anytime soon. read more

Came in on a Sunday for brunch last week and the food was amazing!!!! We didn't make reservations but the lounge area was open seating (first come first served) . The customer service was good, the food did take a little time but in the end it came and it was delicious. I definitely recommend the brunch menu. read more

Terrible service and loud. Bar was packed and everyone was yelling to be heard. 5 of us for dinner last Friday and not one of us finished our meal. Food was awful. Why didnt they just do an Italian menu? Even the decor is poor. Never again. read more

What was supposed to be a fun and relaxing night with a group of friends left everyone irritated, grumpy and ready to go home. Our reservation was at 8pm and we didn't get out of there until 11pm because the service was that slow. I can't blame our server for how slow the food was coming out but that was only about 20% of the problem. Our server was awful and lacked basic customer service skills. I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was having a bad day. She never once apologized for the delay or asked us how our food was or if we needed anything. It was slow getting beverages, including water refills. We ordered 2 health bar bread puddings and a cheesecake for dessert. By the time the cheesecake came out we had finished the bread pudding. Which we scrounged up leftover silverware to eat with since she never brought us new ones. That would've taken another 15 minutes anyways. We had to pay our check at the hostess stand because our server was no where to be found. I'm not sure any of our party would give this place a second chance. It was an overall negative experience. From the appetizers to the dessert, the food was mediocre and the service was horrendous. read more

Food was good. Service can make or break your restaurant especially when yelp reviews are so highly regarded. Felicia was our server and she rocked it. I was a server and trainer for many years and I was very impressed with her skills. Even with a packed section she never left us hanging. Very attentive and quick. Very decent HH. read more

Came here a couple times before with a friend, sat at the bar and ordered apetizers and drinks. The first time the sangria was pretty good, the onion dip not very good. Chips extremely hard, and dip taste like eating sour cream with almost no onion flavor. Also tried the salad and it was a huge and very deep bowl of lettuce with almost nothing else in it, very odd and unappealing. Lately I met some friends there, got a real table instead of a bar seat, much better menu. The hamburger was very good and they cooked it just as I liked but make sure to ask because even medium-well will be pink inside. My friends ordered the oysters and liked them. The drinks ranged from unimpressive to very bad; the house red wind pinot noir not very good (yes I I know it was just a house wine but still...) and the appletini tasted like cleaning fluid, couldn't really drink it. One guest asked for a sangria but they no longer serve them. Nice ambiance and service friendly enough. read more

Had the fish taco appetizer. 2 small but delicious tacos. The staff are super friendly. I'll be back to try some other things.

My wife, son, and I just enjoyed our Brunch here. The coffee was really good as well as my omelet. Great service! Thanks. Our son will definitely return. (We we're visiting the area, he lives here) read more

Great cocktails and friendly service. The steaks are typically cooked a bit above what is asked for, though, so medium rare becomes medium, etc. The lobster mac and cheese is extremely good, would highly recommend. read more

A group of 6 and I came in for brunch a few Saturdays ago. We had been to Libs before to take advantage of their Bottomless mimosas / orange crushes. Our server Danielle could not have been more pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. She was extremely friendly but never pushy. She was the highlight of our experience at Libs this time around. We will certainly be back to see her. If you want great service request her section. :) read more

Great Happy Hour! The popcorn and Brussels sprouts were delicious! Andres is a very visible and on hands general manager. Nice place.

Stopped in on a Thursday during resturant week..a lot of food! Everything was spot on , including our service. Started off with some LGO, raw oysters, they were delicious. Main course- Roseda farm meatloaf ( this aint your mommas meatloaf) Our server was very attentive but not overbearing and had a great attitude. Great service..great meal..great company..will be back Stopped back in this past Thursday evening..wow what a different scene. Super busy. Hostess said it would be a 20 min. wait. Not surprised given the experience I had previously! We were able to get a bar table ( 4 people at what is meant as a 2 top) yeah that made things a little difficult. Ciarra (sp) our server was the best! As I looked around the dining room over half the tables were empty. I then went over to the other dining room just past the raw bar, empty tables. That frustrates me to no end..especially when there were open time slots for reservations. But our server made everything better, when my fiance mentioned how the house made chips looked good. Not 5 minute later a small basket of chips were put in front of her. As always the food was delicious. Roseda Farm burger for me and raw oysters as an app. A desert plate was brought out to us with our check. The little things like the chips and the desert is what gets servers a big tip and makes me a repeat customer! Ciarra is the one of the best servers I have experienced. If you go to Libbs, ask if Ciarra is working. If not enjoy the food..if so ask to be seated in her section, it makes the dining experience that much better! Will be back! read more

My second visit was just as disappointing as the first. The service was great.... the food was another story. The crab dip was served with bread that was rock hard. The buffalo chicken bites had a sour taste with a rubbery texture. The lobster roll sandwich was dried out. Our party of 6 all agreed that it would be our last visit. read more

Went for happy hour on Friday around 5:30. Place was packed and no seating available in bar area. We sat in the oyster bar. Waiter was attentive but drinks took way too long to arrive. We ordered popcorn ,crab dip ,tuna bites and oysters. All were tasty. Second round of drinks took even longer to arrive which really put a damper on the evening. One of us never got their second drink. We decided to leave early as our waiter became overwhelmed with all the customers that came in after us. We would have stayed and ordered dinner but service was terrible. Might try again once they work out the service issues. read more

The atmosphere and service was awesome. There are som many great items on the menu . All the food was excellent.

Everything was perfect! Make sure you get Tonya as your waitress! Very attentive, efficient, and conscientious.

Ten star service from Tonya. Doesn't get any better. Food was superb, such an amazing experience from start to finish. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. read more

I'm giving this 2 stars because they have a long way to go! The food and service are inconsistent. My burger one week was perfect the next incredibly salty. One week the fries were hardly cooked and had to be sent back. This isn't really a big deal for a new restaurant finding their groove in the first months of opening. I have had a great filet and awesome shrimp and grits so I'm not saying the food is terrible at all! The service really isn't great! There are some rock stars like Felicia, Mike, Jess and Brendan. Nicole has great potential! Tonya is friendly (sometimes comes off fake) and seems like she never knows whats going on. The bar doesn't seem to be staffed properly, the kitchen is slow and it could take you an hour or more to get your food. Every time I sit at the bar I am not sure who the bartender is and 100% of the time I have not been acknowledged when I sit down and have had to ask at least twice to for a drink, a menu etc. HERE IS THE THING: We want you to succeed!!! We in this community NEED you to! The community will be forgiving for awhile but there has been much turn over in that spot so get it together! Cut your dead weight! Reward your Rock Stars. If you don't do either they will leave and things are not great so where does that leave you! Get your kitchen in line and train your servers and bartenders to be attentive. By the way....servers complain openly! While it may not seem like it, we do want success for you-you can't change what you don't know. read more

Home Run! We decided to try Lib's this evening. This location has had some winning restaurants and the last one not so great. We planned to go for happy hour and just have drinks and appetizers. But, it was steak night and we decided to give an entree a go. We had rib eyes with mashed potatoes and string beans. It came with either a soup or salad and dessert. I can't have sugar, so I hesitantly asked if I could have soup and salad instead of dessert. They were understanding and incredibly accommodating. It was a delicious meal and lovely presentation. We enjoy brunch and are looking forward to giving that a try soon. read more

Very sad experience tonight, and my family expressed how great the food and service was. We ended up at the high tables per the hostess and was immediately seated in the bar area. The bartender came over immediately and took our drink order and appetizer order. Within 6 mins drinks came, observation bar was full and she was doing her best. We waited 15 more mins to inquire with the hostess where was our server? 3 mins went by again and bartender returned to apologized and stated you have 100 percent of my attention and we ordered. 15 mins later the appetizer still had not appeared and we were plotting to leave. Major discussion let me find the manager, and of course that took a min or 2. Discussion was held and the manager stated he would check the status and get back to us. The bartender swung by and said has your food arrived yet, looking at the empty table. Finally soup and appetizer appeared, soup was cold, and 6 oysters appeared. We decided to leave. Thus 1 hour later manager kept apologizing gave us his card and we paid for the oysters. However if this star could be a half the oysters are amazing. read more

Lousy customer service. Ate at bar. Sitting forever no one can be bothered to ask if we would like another drink. Seems like bars should be interested in selling drinks. read more

Last night was our first experience at this place. We walked in and sat at the bar just about 7 PM. There was a decent amount of people in there. It took a while for our bartender to come over to help us. We were not told about any of the specials or given a special menu. We ordered some drinks and some food. We got the crab dip which came with pretzel sticks. The food just flat out was not good. He did not barely check on us until we were just about done. It appeared that he was either having a bad night or did not want to be there. If you are in the service industry you should be taking care of customers and always have a smile and be helpful. That is not what we experienced. The pretzels we got with the crab dip were hard as a rock. We could not even ask him if that is how it was supposed to be because he did not come over to check on us. We also got steak flatbread which was very bland not something we would get again. We came to this place because it was recommended to us however we were extremely disappointed in the food and the experience. I believe the bartenders name was Andrew. I think the whole highlight of the evening was a gentleman who was the food runner who kept trying to give us other people's food. He was smiling charismatic and he should be in the front of the house not in the back of the house. We will give another try as a dining experience , due to the owners comments read more

I absolutely love the food, but the service leaves something to be desired. Came here last night for an early birthday happy hour, and I was the first to arrive. I sat at a high top in the bar area, and ordered a water and 6 $1 oysters. When the rest of my party arrived, I asked the server if I could move to a larger table, still in the bar area. Her response was "I don't know, I'm going to have to transfer the tab over to another waitress" and basically inferred that it was a hassle and didn't hide her annoyance. I only had $6 worth of items on the tab, so I don't see why this was such a problem. I ended up moving anyway. Our server at the new table wasn't really any better. It took her forever to get our drinks, she didn't smile, and she was flat out rude in response to our questions. It wasn't overly busy at this time either... If I'm a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect. On the upside, the food was (and always is) delicious! I got the short rib poutine. Yum! read more

My husband and I had brunch here last Sunday. He had the Salmon benedict and I had the Ahi tuna and avocado tostada, and shared the brussel sprouts and tater tot casserole. The food was tasty - just the right amount of seasoning. The salmon was not smothered in sauce - a plus for us. Andrea the waitress was wonderful. This is a new restaurant and we weren't familiar with the menu. She took the time to explain options to us. She even warned me that my portion was a "Tapas" sized dish (and thus we ordered the tater tots. I'm glad she did. Not sure it would have been filling enough for me. The place is rather noisy - could be because it was completely filled or because of the high ceilings. We had to speak loudly to be heard. Also, they only had whole milk for the cappuccinos. May be because they are new. Need to get skim milk for sure. Overall, a pleasant experience. We will be going back. read more

Came here on a busy Friday night around 6 for dinner without a reservation. Luckily the high top tables in the bar area and we were able to get a seat in the first 10 minutes instead of the 45 minute wait for a table in the dining room. The manager and our server Sierra was very accommodating and let us squeeze into a table they usually let 2-3 ppl sit at. Despite the small table we were able to make it work. Bread was brought to the table that reminded me of pretzel bites with a cinnamon butter. We got happy hour drink and food specials that included one of their signature mules for $6...it was delicious. Dinner included hanger steak, blacken shrimp Cobb salad, chicken sandwich, and pulled pork pontine. All the food was delicious and arrived in a timely fashion. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it took a long time to get our drinks. All in all we had s great time, wonderful ambiance and friendly staff. We will definitely be back. read more
