Have never been dissatisfied with Libs Grill. Such a huge selection of food and specialty drinks. I highly recommend!

Great restaurant and food! The service was decent. Went here for Howard County Restaurant Week. I ordered the candied bacon, which is house cured and coated with brown sugar. It was amazing and perfect for any bacon lover! I also ordered the Nutella French toast, which is Nutella, whipped cream, strawberries, and warm maple syrup. This was just okay. The service was great. Our food did take almost an hour to come out. But our waitress and the manager apologized for the wait and brought us complimentary macarons as a result. read more

Delicious food in a party atmosphere! I have been here 3 times, twice for dinner and once for brunch. The food is always excellent! I especially like their fries and Brussels sprouts. It is a loud place, so I wouldn't come here with young kids or for a quiet date night. But it is fun with a group! They really go all out with holiday decorations and a special drink menu! read more

Lib's Grill is an outstanding American bistro. It succeeds in every level. Great atmosphere and decor, outstanding attentive service, good bar selection and really good American fare. It is equally appropriate for a family meal as after dinner drinks and apps with coworkers. Well worth the visit. read more

Used to love this place and hope they improve..took 1/2 hour just to take our order... extra 20 minutes to get our silverware... 1/2 way thru entree to get our hot sauce and he brings buffalo sauce instead of hot sauce ... 2 hours now to just get our dessert that was included (we had to mention it to him). And then over charges us 1 extra dessert. read more

Good oysters, friendly staff, great drinks! Sat at the bar and both bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Food was nothing special but I would go back for $1 oyster brunch any day! read more

We eat at Lib's at least bimonthly. We decided to try it for Easter brunch buffet this year. We were super disappointed! No one ever explained how it worked (we had to ask where everything was), we still don't know if alcohol was included in the price per person. If it was, we should have partaken! The offerings for this event were so minimal, and the majority lacked the fínese that we are used to at Lib's. Some of the menu items that were on the list online were not in the options at all. The menu options did not really seem to go together or have been thought out. They offered chicken tenders and fries for the kids in case they didn't like the breakfast options, but I have never tasted dryer chicken. I couldn't even swallow it without a drink! on top of all that, the bill was $230 for 5 of us! There was supposed to have been a 6th, but my mom had the stomach bug. 20% Gratuity was included for 5 of us, which I found odd, especially given that all our server did was bring drinks and one refill during the hour we were there. We had to flag him down to get the bill and then again to pay it. When we first got there, there were only 2-3 other families in the entire place so there was no reason someone could not have come to our table to say "the buffet is in 3 different areas...plates are over there...help yourself when you are ready". Yes, we know what a buffet is, but I would not have expected it to be set up on their bar, until we asked. We only spend this kind of money on meals for character dining in Disney. We will definitely not do a holiday meal here ever again. We left extremely disappointed with our tasteless, overpriced meal. read more

I used to live in the Whitemarsh area and frequently went to the Libs in Perry Hall. I always had great service whether dining for happy hour with the bartenders or in the dining room. The general manager is absolutely amazing and she always had a smile on her face. I moved to Columbia last year and was thrilled to learn that there was another libs 10 minutes south! Over the last year, I have dined a few times for happy hour, and the service on the bar side is less than stellar. They do not seem to pay attention to their guests and always seem to hang out in the left back corner. The bartender this past Thursday just seemed like she did not want to be there. She barely spoke to us, and her personality was very cold. When she dropped the check, she didn't even acknowledge us again. Just went back over to that left side of the bar talking to a gentleman who was dressed like he could be the manager on their phones. I'm not normally someone who will write a bad review but as someone who has loved Libs and always had great experiences in White Marsh, this is very disappointing to see down here. The food is always phenomenal. I have never had an issue there! I will return just will eat in the dining room. The discounted happy hour prices aren't worth the service from the bartenders. read more

Went to Lib's for happy hour and I was definitely left happy. Drinks were about $5 (even with Tito's), they have $1 oysters, $3 tacos, $5 deviled eggs with crab and a whole lot more! I really enjoyed the fish tacos, the fish size was substantial and it tasted pretty fresh. The deviled eggs were just okay in my book, I probably wouldn't get them again but a portion size comes with 3 halves so I guess it's not too bad for the price! They have 3 choices of house red wine and 3 choices for white. I really enjoyed the white zifandel. All in all I'll be back :) read more

Was headed to Ranazal since I was in the area but went to Libs since I had never been. I was very satisfied. Got the BEST waitress Katie. Your server sometimes makes all the difference. She was awesome. She helped with recommendations etc. She was attentive. The food was good the restaurant was clean including the bathroom. I'll be back. I was very satisfied. I got the devil eggs, Brussels sprouts and shrimp and grits. They tweaked things for me per my request which made things even better. Asian Fried BrusselsDeviled Eggs read more

As I write this I am starting to laugh as it as hilariously bad. We wanted to grab a bite after my nieces concert at about 6:30 pm. Someone called out this place. I swear I wanted to like it my buddy's name is Lib, I wanted to send him a pic of the place. We walked in and it took a while to be greeted and have someone take our order. That's when it went down hill. We waited and waited we have a 3 year old. We ordered 2 appetizers and 5 mains. The appetizers never came. My son's pasta with marinara came with nothing. That had to go back and 15 minutes later it came out with the worst sauce I have ever tasted. Ragu would have been an upgrade. Oh yeah the grated cheese was so stale I thought there were pieces of wood in the pasta. It was gross. When I told the guy to cancel the appetizers he said we was going to take them off the bill. What ? We were never served them. Then when he brought to bill he said he took some stuff of the bill. He took the club soda my son ordered off the bill and my wife's drink . Most of the wait staff was busy pulling the floor mats and stuff up instead of serving people. They should have told us the place was closed. I am never going back. Wait. If I was in front of the place during a rampage I wouldn't go inside to protect myself. That's how bad it was. Oh yeah and three plates of pasta and a salad was $133. Next time I'll just set my money on fire. read more

We had a great brunch outside after my SO's second vaccine at Lib's! The drinks were amazing, so was the food and service! Jasmyn really knew alot about the oysters on brunch special and described them perfectly! Definitely wish we lived closer so we could stop by more often! I dream about the booberry crushes all the time! Thanks Jasmyn for a great time and making us feel like we were your only customers! We'll be back to sit on the awesome patio! read more

We came here for some apps and drinks one afternoon and had a great time. I had the Cheetah Colada and it was very good. Sweet, but not too sweet and surprisingly refreshing on a hot day. We shared a dozen oysters, truffle Parmesan fries, and crab dip. Everything was delicious! The fries might be my favorites of all time and they're amazing to dip in the crab dip. Highly recommend. read more

Service and food was fabulous. Greeted at the door so nicely and quickly seated. Crab dip, MD crab soup and special soup of red pepper corn chowder was awesome. Meatloaf was moist and delicious. For the diner, the only negative issue was that the green beans were a little hard. Short rib pasta was very good, hot and plentiful. Portebello mushroom dish was great as well. Finally, the dessert of heath bar bread pudding was good. Not too sweet and nicely warmed up. Only negative I can think of is that it is a little loud. We were close to the bar so the noise level was up there somewhat. Otherwise, great place to eat and will be returning. read more

The Short Rib Rigatoni was so flavorful! The meat to pasta ratio was sooo good for a meat lover like me! I had more meat towards the end of my dish that I did pasta. And it was filling!! My only con comment would be that my server was a bit inattentive, and I went at a time that it was not crowded. I had a water and a diet coke and one was always empty throughout my meal. When I was paying my check, I saw another waiter bring out starter bread for another table, which I didn't get offered. I think he saw my expression and came back to my table to offer it to me but at that time, I was already done and calling my Uber. All in all though, definitely would come back for the food! read more

The food was awesome!! I got the chicken-n-biscuits and took part in the oysters. Our server Kathlyn did an amazing job despite the large brunch crowd one has to fight to get to the back of the restaurant. The chicken-n-biscuits was really good for being a new addition to the menu, only thing I would've preferred is a little more of the amazing sausage gravy the it all sat on. Chicken was tender and the batter was a perfect combination of crispy and fluffy. Everyone was was super happy with the food and their choices including myself. The oysters were fresh and the selection was vast. It's a little noisy and crowded but that's to expect in a good Brunch spot!! Very happy and will come again read more

The food is really good. The atmosphere is casual, but nice. The service has always been very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant was fairly busy the night I visited. Our waiter was very attentive considering how crowded the restaurant was that evening. The food was very good and I will definitely return again in the future. It's a nice atmosphere and people seemed to enjoy themselves. I didn't hear anyone complaining. read more

By now it is clear Lib's Grill is a keeper in Maple Lawn. The space is well used so people can dine inside or out, enjoy a spacious bar, enjoy a happy hour, or peaceful dinner. The menu is American and nicely varied with good spins on traditional meals such as Meat Loaf. Their mac and cheese and brisket, I am told, is wonderful while the last time I was there, the 12 oz. steak was terrific. Most reading this know how good the food is as well as the overall ambiance and service. No, today I am here to extol the virtues of Lauren, my recent server. She's coming off probation and her military training comes in handy while remembering not only orders but our party's names. She was friendly, good-humored, and provided excellent service. With staffing an issue these days, I applaud Lib's for attracting, training, and keeping good people. read more

Stumbled upon this place randomly looking for a brunch place in the area. Options are very slim in Fulton, MD. So glad we found Lib's. From the outside this place looks like a generic pub, however, upon walking in, the interior gives off a rather posh ambiance. The real selling point of this place is the $15 unlimited mimosas! Yes, you heard me. If we were closer to DC, mimosas would run you $25-$30 for unlimited.. easily! The brunch menu was pretty standard, however, I'd never seen a breakfast flatbread before. The flat bread was delicious! Some sort of maple sausage was used, which went perfectly with the melted cheese and sunny side egg! Service was prompt and efficient. My friend didn't like her first meal, and the kitchen was able to fix it to her liking the second time around. I'll keep Libs on my list for future visits to Fulton! read more

I went here tonight for a company dinner and I already am planning my next dinner there! We had a large party and we're given a shortened menu to choose from. The menu was excellent. It was extremely hard to decide what to have. I ended up choosing the Asian Fried Brussels, the Pan Roasted Chicken and the bread pudding. The sprouts were delicious. Some places over power the sprout flavor with too many spices but that is not the case here. They were perfect. The chicken was melt in your mouth. I can't say too much about the bread pudding as I was too full for more than a bite. That bite was good and I'm planning on the rest for breakfast tomorrow. The service was excellent. Very attentive. Can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu. read more

My sister, her husband and I were craving some seafood. So this place came highly recommended by some locals. They had a bottomless brunch but were didn't partake in it because we had to drive back to NY. However, everything else was superb! From the southwestern crab soup, oysters, deviled eggs stuffed with crab, crab cake egg benedict to the chicken and waffles. Probably some of the best seafood I've ever had. Came here for a solo dinner on a weekday and was able to get seated immediately. The outdoor space is nice, spaced out and relatively private. Decided to grab a quick bite before heading home with our dog. The patio area allows for dogs, so that was really nice. We had a light beer and a boo berry cocktail. Both were satisfying. Lib's Grill, a member of the Liberatore's family of restaurants, is located in Maple Lawn, a newer development south of Columbia off of Route 29. This area is a trendy planned community with shops, restaurants, and housing as well. I had the Grill on my radar since reading a few positive reviews. I am familiar with Liberatore's, and love to frequent Liquid Libs in Timonium. So I was happy to try Lib's Grill on a brisk Friday evening. We did love the large outdoor seating area, because even as the weather turns cooler I like to stay in fresh air due to COVID. Here are some more thoughts- * Wait was very long even though we had a reservation. There were people standing around inside and out of the restaurant. I noticed crowding around the host station-people weren't socially distancing. * The waiter was friendly/pleasant. * Food was alright, but not great. With the exception of the Asian Brussels-they were crispy and flavorful. A little more bacon would be nice, though. My arugula salad was nothing special. The dressing could have used a "kick". The shrimp I got on top was again okay, needed a bit more flavor. Hubby got the meatloaf with whipped potatoes and green beans. It came topped with an egg. Weird, but he liked that. He liked the meatloaf. He did note that the potatoes were heavier than he expected for whipped potatoes. Didn't seem as light and airy, but closer to "smashed potatoes". I took a taste of the meat. It was good, but not as good as mine-hee hee! Overall a solid 3 out of 5 experience. I prefer the flavors of Liquid Libs small plates to the Grill. But I know that the Grill is more for the family and hungry crowd. read more

Great neighborhood raw bar & restaurant with great upscale food, great cocktails. Service is always above and beyond. $$

Stopped by here to meet up with a friend for dinner and was very impressed by the decor/ambiance. Definitely feels a little upscale but still approachable for all crowds.
