Librettos - Uber Eats I needed food for this weekend. Chicken francaise, stuffed mushrooms, soups: pasta fagiola and lentil with Italian sausage. Small Personal pizza with mushroom onion pepperoni. But wow, can I just say the soups are sooooo good!? But holy cow those fricking stuffed mushrooms?! Amazing!! It was my favorite hands-down. The chicken francaise chicken is wonderful, wish there was more sauce on the pasta. Only sorta negative comment. I really enjoyed the pizza too, a great crust in my opinion and for my personal taste. Nothing was too salty or overwhelming. It was an excellent small personal pizza. I enjoyed the soups so much, placed an order for my soul mom but, driver canceled because it was a Mint Hill delivery lol! Doesn't matter, cause I will go in person and deliver the order myself. We were looking for a New York style pizza joint and we definitely found one. We came in at about 6:30 on a Friday night and were surprised to see that inside is kind of like a pizza, bar and grill sort of vibe. There's nothing wrong with that at all I'm just saying that for reference. There were a few kids eating there and it was fine but I think as the night goes on it might be a little less appropriate for kids given the atmosphere. All that aside, mostly everything was great! We began with the Calamari and it was very good. A light crispiness on each piece and the peppers were a nice touch. And the marinara was fabulous. We shared the Parmigiana Sandwich with chicken and, oh my gosh. It was amazing. Juicy chicken, flavorful sauce, soft bread. Delicious. We also shared a 14" half cheese/half pepperoni pizza and it was good. Amazing sauce and fresh dough rolled out New York style. Because I'm a sucker for pasta salad I had to try theirs and it was bad. It had zero flavor and was dry. It did not taste fresh in any way, shape or form. Speaking of form, some of the noodles were curved from the container they came out of. Meaning, they had been sitting at least a day, which I am surprised by, because pasta salad is like the easiest thing to make. The wine selection wasn't the best. But what surprised me was that they served non-alcoholic drinks that contain THC. I'm not sure if they had any other non-alcoholic drinks aside from that but that was my first time seeing it on regular restaurant menu. I didn't mind. We ordered food for delivery the next weekend and the pizza was not as good. It was a little raw and doughy throughout the center. I came here for Junior's NYC Deli! Located inside Libretto's Pizzeria is Junior's NYC Deli. The deli sandwich options are located on the restaurant menu with the rest of the pizzas, etc. So I was a little confused about the process. I guess I was expecting an actual deli counter inside the same building as the pizzeria or something? I'm not quite sure what I was expecting to be honest. Either way, both of these business are located in the same kitchen under the same roof. CHOPPED CHEESE! I've been wanting to try a chopped cheese for as long as I have been following Matty Matheson and this was the place to get one! My first chopped cheese experience will definitely not be the last. It's basically ground beef chopped up fine smothered with melty cheese along with toppings of your choice on a sub roll. I'm obsessed. My husband and I got a Reuben which was just fine in my opinion. I could not stop eating the chopped cheese. They make their own breads in house which was delicious and so fresh! Big fan, ya'll should try it. read more

I was excited to order from here because I'm another New York transplant who has heard this was gonna taste like home. I ordered to-go, so my experience might not be the same as dining in. My family and I ordered ahead from the deli part of the restaurant. Our scheduled pickup was 12:30pm and we arrived after 12:30 but before 12:40. We all ordered a sandwich (two Italians, a French dip, and a turkey and Swiss). Our side of pasta salad was missing but we could have checked the bag to avoid that. Aside from that, the sandwiches were just lacking flavor. The Italians were embarrassingly thin and free from oil or vinegar. The turkey sandwich was much more fuller but somehow lacked any flavor. I was surprised because I chose turkey for the fact that it was hard to mess up. Even with mustard and Mayo it was pretty bland. The French dip was reportedly good and had no complaints. I will say I believe they use fresh homemade bread and you could definitely tell - it was very good. I love a classic New York pizza shop that offers subs but this place missed the mark. read more

Friendly staff good pizza and little wait time. They are located in a shared shopping area so there's plenty of parking. The place is pretty dark inside, but clean. They have a small bar inside where it looks like they have their regulars. I have been here a few times once I received a pizza that was very burnt at the bottom after each person in my family got a slice we called in the manager was able to tell us to keep it and come back and get another pizza with no problem! The total on my credit card statement was a couple dollars more. I've disputed the charge with my company, but this is a good reminder to ALWAYS check receipts against statements, from ANY establishment. Small amount, but completely unethical... Pizza, wings, and pub in Charlotte NC. As we were out and about the wife and kids were craving pizza. We fount that the closest decent place was librettos. They were located inside a shopping plaza and as we pulled up we noticed that they had outside seating. Half of the restaurant was a bar and the other half was set up as a sit down restaurant. There was a large crowd set up in the bar area as it was a March madness Sunday. It was around 3:00 when we came in and we were the only diners. The menu was standard pizza place fare. We ordered the Sicilian pizza with 6 garlic parm wings. The pizza was excellent but the wings were bland. At this point in our experience the bar crowd was getting a bit loud and were letting some expletives fly. Not necessarily appropriate for my kiddos. The server was pleasant and attentive. I may go back at some point but probably not with my kids. read more
