A friend and I walked into here to grab a quick bite. We ordered 2 pepperoni slices. The girl at the register had to asked "do we even have pepperoni pizza?!" At the time I didn't think nothing of it but, when we got the pizza, it made sense. All they did was grab some pepperoni and slapped it on a cheese pizza, then reheated the pizza. Pepperoni was burnt and easily scrape off the cheese pizza. I took one bite and just left. The only reason I didn't say anything was because I was not alone, it was only $7 something, and at least the girl up front was nice. I hope she kept my tip. The shop is clean with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I stopped in because I am a pizza lover, it's a short drive, and I saw many patronizing the restaurant. They have options that include subs, salads, wings, chicken fingers, and pizza. The food is pretty good. My only issue is with the menu in house. The prices are not as transparent as I would like. The menus do not list pricing. You have to scan the QR code to view pricing which we did not see until after ordering. We ordered a 13"(small) supreme pizza (The Bison Classic) and 6 Garlic Parm wings. Unfortunately we were surprised by the total of $38.01 for small pizza and 6 wings. We had tried this location before, but had not had their buffalo style pizza. It was delicious! The crust was light and airy and the pepperoni perfectly crisp. This pizza place uses quality ingredients and it shows. The antipasto salad was full of the best meats and toppings. My only complaint would be the $1.50 I was charged for a not full cup of ranch. The ranch was actually left out of my bag too. Thankful I checked my order before leaving the restaurant. All and all I would return to this location, but not as frequently because of the price per item. Due to a special, Uber Eats sponsored dinner on Monday, 12-6-21. This was my first encounter with this restaurant. I ordered the steak bomber hot sub & fresh cut fries. I'm a fry lover & usually am judging the restaurant by their fries if I'm ordering them. The order was super late. I'm not sure if it was because of the restaurant, Uber Eats, or what. The sub was still a good temperature, probably because it was wrapped well in foil. The fries on the other hand was a big disappointment & a waste of money. I grabbed a few from the top of the container before I started on the sub. They were lukewarm at best. The sub was ok. By the time I finished, the fries were cold. Threw more away than I'd eaten. I have been to this location two times over the course of a year. I found out about this place with a Groupon. Its in a nice area with plenty of shared parking. They were awarded wing fling wing award from 2019! I was excited to try something new. The first pizza I ordered was a bisonte special. It was okay. It seemed the staff seem to care less about customer service and the place was empty yet not the cleanest. I was in the area a year later and got the veggie and a pepperoni. The pizza crust was doughy and thick. I was told it would take 20 Minutes to make and when I brought it home the veggie was cold. So they do not have warmers? Why say 20 minutes if it's sooner and my pizza would be cold? I do not think I will return I gave them a few tries. Maybe things changed after COVID with this place. Good luck! read more

The biggest thing I can speak of is this place's customer service and accommodating children craziness. The food (sliced pizza X 2) was delicious per my kids. Myself and older kid ate Chinese takeout from next door with plans to eat outside - but the bees were too many to eat comfortably outside. The Chinese place doesn't have seating indoors. So we went inside at pizza locale and they allowed us to eat our two plates of Chinese food inside the restaurant - albeit my other two had their pizza. We purchased sodas and were very appreciative. Although I personally have not had there pizza the service and tummy rubs the kids shared following their lunch slices makes me want to return and dine the whole family. I am a Rochester native and have made a point to try out all of the food in the Charlotte area from Western New York. This is another place that did not disappoint! I have been to the uptown location, but with kiddos it is hard to make it uptown nowadays. We ventured out to Matthews to give it a try and watch the bills game. The restaurant is definitely filled with bills fans, and if you want the Sunday ticket this is the place. Definitely not the typical bills crowd, but can still be a little loud! I really appreciate them showing the games! We got traditional pizza and wings, which is something I miss to be able to get at home pretty much everywhere! They do the buffalo style, or thicker crust. Pizza was good, and so were the wings, but there was a little mixup in the kitchen so when we got our wings they were a little cold which threw me off a little bit. But, they were really big, and that is something most places in Charlotte lack! Says more of a family style restaurant, next to Harris Teeter. Went for Father's Day this past Sunday, and was just ok. Honestly the description of the wings online were nothing the same. They were just fried wings. The pizza dough was way too thick for NY style pizza, however it was tasty. Beef on wick was pretty good, and meatball sub was decent. Service was exceptionally slow. The biggest disappointment was the fact that neither restroom has a changing table. I changed my infant in the booth since at that time we were the only dine in customers. No manager came by to apologize for that, and the entire atmosphere feels a little misleading. We still made the best of it. read more

I had no idea what buffalo style pizza was until tonight. Yummy! A cute little spot in a small, strip mall, Bisonte Pizza Co lived up to its 2014 "Best Pizza" distinction. Buffalo style is a thick crust but not "doughy". I ate the pizza all the way to and including the crust, something I don't usually do. We had a large pizza (17") and added 18 wings which was more than enough for our family of four. The wings were very good, too. We had a mixture of mild and carolina gold. Carolina gold is a blend of barbecue and a mustard sauce. Very good! Staff was friendly and responsive. Definitely a good spot to watch a game. I will just take a jacket next time. This was a good place for pizza. The Bourbon BBQ wings were delicious. They were dipped then charred and dipped again. The Chicken Parmesan was good. They do not have Angel hair pasta like we prefer, but that's ok. The chicken was delicious but had a kick which was a good balance. The pasta sauce was ok. Very tomato taste with little seasoning. The bread twisty didn't have any salt to bring out the seasonings on top so it was a but bland. The bathrooms we're clean, but one had a flushing problem. Evidently not the first time. I stopped in and got the Cheeseburger Sub and it was all of that. I got the large with an order of fries. Everything was delicious. After visiting my partner's family, we stopped in Matthews a former neighborhood they lived in, and we came to a strip mall where Bisonte Pizza was. We originally wanted bagels but couldn't find their storefront and came in here by chance. We ended up getting a slice of pizza to share, and the staff were great. They cut our slice in half without us asking, and that's after they knew we were splitting one. They didn't have to, but it's very much appreciated. We tried their chicken Parmesan pizza -- I highly recommend it. It's definitely one of those toppings that you think it's hit or miss, but I was totally blown away by how good it was. The chicken pieces were tender and it was crispy, and it was perfect on the pizza. I'd recommend Bisonte's to anyone in the area looking for pizza. We were recommended this place by an old boss that used to live in the area a year ago. We ordered a large bisonte special pizza with a large Caesar salad. The salad was good, really enjoyed the dressing. However, the pizza was very incorrect. I confirmed twice the order was taken correctly over the phone as we really dislike the taste of black olives and my boyfriend does not like onions or mushrooms. To be more specific we asked for no black olives on the whole pizza and half no mushrooms or onions, neither requests were completed. I was honestly pretty disappointed because the pizza was cold by the time we got home (we live about 13 mins from there), it took us a while to take off all the wrong ingredients, and the pizza was pretty average. I expected a little more because of what their website advertised. I will say though the staff is friendly, food was ready when we arrived, and the homemade salad dressing was good. I don't think I will come back anytime soon but it is not out of the question that I will give them another shot. read more
