I saw some good reviews for this location, so I drove by on a Saturday right before they closed and chatted with the owner, Brian. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. I'm so glad I finally found a new trusted mechanic! Will definitely take my car to Brian and the team for all future maintenance services.

Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. I think the pictures speak for themselves to demonstrate high quality service.

We happened to drive by and decided to order dinner takeout. Here is the restaurant website: http://fairlandethiopianrestaurants.com/ The food is excellent. We ordered the vegetarian combo, which ranks among the best I have ever had in the DC area for the past 20 years. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly seasoned. The combo included a potato and red beet dish with a great texture and flavor. Interestingly, there was no salad, but that was OK with me. The beef tibs were decent but unremarkable - a little bland, but well-balanced by the veggie combo. The injera is hearty and authentic; it's darker and more textured than others we've had in the DC area. Overall, a great meal. The restaurant also sells Ethiopian coffee, both whole beans and ground. What a great spot. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back.

EXCELLENT AND ON TIME SERVICE!…read more This week I had my 13-year-old Chevy Traverse LTZ serviced at the Cloverly Citgo. This was my first experience working with Asif and Waseem as I typically handle my vehicles' service myself. Unfortunately, I needed items addressed quickly so the vehicle could be taken on an unexpected trip. I asked for a quote to have the following done: remove/replace both rear hub bearings and remove/replace rotors and pads. They quoted a reasonable price and a very quick turnaround of done by 5PM the next day. I dropped off my vehicle, and it was done before 3PM the next day. The price paid was the price on the estimate, plus the cost of a new rear caliper, as one was seized. In addition, they cleaned and adjusted my parking brakes, which haven't worked well since the last time I did the rear brakes. AGAIN - - - EXCELLENT AND ON TIME SERVICE!

I had no idea what to expect when I pulled in here. The way this is situated is horrible. it is right at the one entrance to this plaza and it can be a nightmare to enter the lot. It sits right off the entrance road near the I-95 Interchange. That means, if you are lucky, you are able to enter the lot without much hassle from the highway traffic. Once in the lot, if you are not coming in here for fuel, good luck trying to figure out where the parking spots are and if they are labeled. I accidentally parked in a handicap spot without know it because the lines on the pavement are impossible to see and the signage blends into all the promotional signs plastered everywhere. Once inside the store, it is a dim lit, poor excuse for a convenience store. There is not a lot of variety to choose from and not much of what is available in stock. I didn't need anything from the shelves/coolers, I went straight to the counter to get my vice. It was as smooth of a transaction as could be. What I want always is picked off the shelf wrong the first time so I have to restate what it is and point it out to them. Prices are just about what you would expect to find at any gas station in the area. Save yourself hassle, if you stop here, do it only for the fuel, don't go inside. Go elsewhere in the plaza to get what you need.
