I pealed the ones off my door and within days they put new ones up. I called them and asked them to STOP putting stickers on my door, but they repeatedly continued to put them on our doors. I would encourage everyone to go elsewhere.

0/5 - AVOID VILLAGE LOCKSMITH AT ALL COSTS - Especially Dennis…read more This was by far the most infuriating, unprofessional experience I've ever had with a so-called "service provider." I hired Village Locksmith to install a digital lock, and they sent a man named Dennis -- who turned out to be completely incompetent, disrespectful, and aggressive. He botched the installation by programming the lock incorrectly -- it never worked correctly from the start. When I called to get it fixed -- which is the bare minimum anyone would expect after paying for a job -- he blew up on me, yelling over the phone and threatening to charge me AGAIN just to come back. This was his mistake, yet he acted like I was inconveniencing him by asking him to do the job right. Dennis clearly has no idea what he's doing and absolutely no grasp of basic customer service. His behavior was hostile and unprofessional -- I wouldn't trust this man to install a doorknob, let alone a security lock. Village Locksmith should be ashamed to send someone like this into people's homes. I felt disrespected, dismissed, and downright scammed. If you value your safety, your sanity, and your money, stay far away from this company -- and Dennis in particular.

Lenny first came to change the locks on my dad's co-op after my father passed away and we were preparing to sell the unit. I explained to him that we had an unstable family member who used to stay with my dad and might try to break in. Lenny not only added an extra security lock, but also advised me to leave a note in the window so other locksmiths would think twice if that family member attempted to gain access with their help. Sure enough, that family member did try to break in and change the locks -- but thankfully, they had called Lenny. He immediately recognized the co-op, remembered working with me, and gave me a heads-up. Once he realized what was going on, he refused to do the job. I really respected his integrity. Later, once the family member was evicted, Lenny was incredibly supportive and flexible as I navigated the next steps. He understood I wouldn't have much notice and worked with me to re-secure the co-op as soon as possible. Throughout a very difficult and emotionally charged time, Lenny was professional, kind, and dependable. I'm truly grateful for his support, and he'll continue to be my go-to locksmith.

The dealer wanted nearly $400 just to give me a new fob and program it -- and it's an older minivan, not some fancy Mercedes or something LOL! I saved a great deal of money going to Brookhaven Locksmith. While I still wouldn't say it was cheap, it was literally about half the price. They also said they would have programmed the cheap "blank" I had bought on Amazon and brought with me, but I decided I'd rather just have the whole thing done and done right and not risk having more problems because of the unknown quality of what I bought. It's already been a hassle with it not working properly for the last year. Well now, it's working like new again. They were friendly and quick to do the job (I also happened to go in when they weren't super busy). I'm extremely satisfied to have saved some money while still get a good and professional result.
