Fixed my Smart Lock problem in less than 30 minutes. As part of my Smart Home plan (in Westhampton), I bought the Level Smart Lock which would also allow greater control of the front door (like know when it locked through the app) and guests to have timed access using their phone. I managed to both jam the new device and break the old manual chamber. Thank you for saving the day (actually, the night...). I just got in to Hampton Bays after a 16 hour flight, and went outside for a breath of air, when the front door locked behind us! Ouch! My phone was inside the house, along with the house keys and car keys. It was 10 PM in a neighborhood that we knew nobody. A neighbor called Liberty Lock & Key and the owner´s son showed up in less than half an hour. I would have gladly paid twice what they charged us. Well, they did the job, but they didn't seem interested. I got a bit of an attitude at first. They weren't busy whatsoever so I was a little shocked. If I had another option locally, I might have taken it there. Anyway, after I agreed to pay for the job to be done (without hesitation), I seemed to be more appreciated. These guys wanted to charge $300.00 for a weekend service call. Basically theft.

I foolishly lost the keys to my lockbox a few days ago and I was starting to think that I would never get it open again (they keys were strange and the man from the hardware store said that I would have to call the manufacturer of the lockbox). I brought the lockbox to Liberty and they not only got it open, but they made new keys for it on the spot! Liberty lock smith receives zero stars for being ridiculously disrespectful, rude and failing to finish a job they said they were more than capable of completing(Yelp is making me pick at-least one star). I had called them knowing they were a local Westhampton business to replace my key ignition cylinder for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When replacing cylinders in today's vehicles the car keys need to be reprogrammed so that the security software simply does not shut the car off. They forgot to reprogram the car keys that I already had reminded them about and left a note in the car about where their placement was. After calling the owner and just telling him my problems on how I thought and simply knew from asking a third party that they just forget to program the keys in there device system. The owner was furious over the phone telling me that I knew nothing about what he does for work and that my third party simply had no idea what he was talking about. He later calmed down over the phone once realizing he was wrong and they dident program the keys the first time . He was scheduled to come the next day to program the keys into the cars software and while doing so fried my cars computer which cost over a thousand dollars, that does not count the 275$ I payed them to do the switch incorrectly. He has simply not manned up to any of his mistakes. I have been without a car since December 12 because finding a old jeep computer that works is rare. People do make mistakes but it's what you do after is how your impression is made especially in a small community like Westhampton. read more
