What a pleasure it was to find, and to deal with, Suffolk County Locksmith. We had been trying for…read moremonths to find a place to get a few automobile keys made. Finally we found these guys. First of all, stop saying every key is a special key! I went here for a standard gas cap key and…read morethey said "oh, this is a special key it will be 13.90 plus tax". I responded no thank you I will go elsewhere. Went to another local locksmith and got the key for 4.99 plus tax! Besides being a rip off they put there stickers on every commercial door! I pealed the ones off my door and within days they put new ones up. I called them and asked them to STOP putting stickers on my door, but they repeatedly continued to put them on our doors. I would encourage everyone to go elsewhere.

For my specific make and model, he told me exactly what needed to be done, why my specific car is complex and unless it was an emergency, he recommended I go to the dealer due to my specific car make and model. That is refreshing in today's market. Makes me believe he will not take your money or charge extra to make a buck. He is truly honest, kind and very helpful. I would strongly recommend calling him for your locksmith needs and ask how to proceed before using anyone else. Thanks Rory - i did not use your services this time, but put your phone number in my contact list for when i need a locksmith!

Our front door lock had been hard to turn for awhile, and today my key actually broke and became…read morestuck in the lock due to my clumsy attempt to force open the door. Thank goodness someone was home to let me in and I immediately consulted Yelp for a local locksmith. Call me old fashioned but I like to use a brick and mortar store when it comes to locks and security. (Had a bad experience in the city from a "mobile locksmith" years ago but that's a story for another day). I spoke to Jose at Merrick Master Locksmiths, we agreed on a price range and he was at my house in less than 30 minutes. Jose extracted the broken key and fixed the lock in about 10 minutes including a nice hit of WD-40 to lube it up, something I'll do in future periodically to keep things working well. Price was reasonable for a house call and he even threw in 2 free spare keys made at the store later that day. Lock is working perfectly now. Merrick Master Locksmiths offers a wide array of products/services ranging from simple key dupes to high tech keypad lock installation. Safe, prompt, reasonable, friendly service by a small local business. Yes I'll take it!
