I responded no thank you I will go elsewhere. Went to another local locksmith and got the key for 4.99 plus tax! Besides being a rip off they put there stickers on every commercial door! I pealed the ones off my door and within days they put new ones up. I called them and asked them to STOP putting stickers on my door, but they repeatedly continued to put them on our doors. Lenny first came to change the locks on my dad's co-op after my father passed away and we were preparing to sell the unit. I explained to him that we had an unstable family member who used to stay with my dad and might try to break in. Lenny not only added an extra security lock, but also advised me to leave a note in the window so other locksmiths would think twice if that family member attempted to gain access with their help. Sure enough, that family member did try to break in and change the locks -- but thankfully, they had called Lenny. He immediately recognized the co-op, remembered working with me, and gave me a heads-up. Once he realized what was going on, he refused to do the job. I really respected his integrity. Later, once the family member was evicted, Lenny was incredibly supportive and flexible as I navigated the next steps. He understood I wouldn't have much notice and worked with me to re-secure the co-op as soon as possible. Throughout a very difficult and emotionally charged time, Lenny was professional, kind, and dependable. I'm truly grateful for his support, and he'll continue to be my go-to locksmith.
