Have gone there several times within 2 months. Their Italian dishes are huge. We went there with another couple on a Saturday and one person ordered an Italian dinner. The plate was huge. The one dish that is really healthy is the AHI Tuna appetizer. Actually, it is enough for a dinner and is reasonably priced. We tried the AHI Tuna appetizer apiece and added on order of the Bang Bang Shrimp and it was almost too much for two. The next time, we just ordered the AHI Tuna- one apiece. Not many places around here offer AHI Tuna - they should. A healthy alternative to a Prime Rib or Steak. Drinks are excellent. Half the bartenders in WI can't make a Manhattan right. This place makes them right - 2/3s bourbon, 1/3 sweet vermouth, NOT a "Dash" or a Drop of Vermouth - 1/3. A "dash" of bitters - yes. They also use the antique cherries in them. A quality bourbon (George Dickel 8 yr.old) Manhattan was $10 (very reasonable) Great ambiance. We get there before 5PM to avoid the crowds. Probably best to call to make reservations for four or more - especially if you're going after 5PM. Next time, I will try the Italian dishes. ALSO- desserts are top rate and $10. read more

I am very happy and excited that we found a new place with great food that can be delivered. Last week I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana, A loaded baked potato and salad. The food arrived in record time and I do not live down the street! It was hot, fast and most of all good! I called to compliment them and found out that the cook/owner/main man is from Chicago. Well, no wonder. The portion size ended up to be two dinners and a lunch for me. I'm stuck at home for a while and will be ordering again. It was so nice to get a call back from Joel who also told me about his brunch! YUM. Can't wait to get in there soon! We visited here on Saturday night. There were 4 of us. From the person who seated us, our waitress, Misty, and the bus personnel and other wait staff, all were very friendly and inviting. 8 of us went for dinner Sat 12-27-25, to start there was another table directly behind us that was very awkward to try and squeeze by them to be seated. We were very close together. Wife had a filet that was 53 dollars and I had a queen cut prime rib that was 42 dollars. You would think for that price it would be excellent. Both were so over-seasoned we could not eat them and loaded with garlic butter. My sister in law had the filet and she said same thing. She Could not eat hers either. They brought my daughter the wrong entree and finally got her the right one when everyone was done eating. Hers was so full of thick cheese she did not eat much of it. The soup that they brought to my daughters boyfriend was spiled all over the plate it was served on. The salad dressing cups were empty, spilled on the salad serving plate for everyone who had salad. My mother in law ordered the grilled salmon with no seasoning at all because she has a severe health problem with seasoning. Guess what? It was full of seasoning after reassured that was only safe option for her to have. Ordered and paid for a diet soda, asked for one refill several times throughout being there to never receive it. When things were mentioned about the issues had, nothing was compensated or done about it, like staff didn't care or didn't know what to do, however the buss boy was outstanding with his customer service but couldn't fix any issues. To end, a 20% tip was automatically added to all bills, this would 100% be the amount tipped had the experience been worth it. We all ended up with $100-$150 bills and nothing to show for it. This place used to be one of the best around, this was extremely disappointing with 8 guests who will not return. Just want to bring awareness to others. read more

I wouldn't really label this restaurant fine dining as the website and some of the other Yelpers have, but the food isn't terrible. It's also not great. They have a large traditional menu with nothing seeming to be special or memorable. Certainly not worth the prices that they are charging. Another reason this is hard to call fine dining is because the service needs a lot of improvement. Our server was friendly, but the team was slow and disorganized across the board here which would frustrate someone who is trying to curate a special date night. The drinks were terrible to be completely honest. They sound good on the menu, but the delivery was just disappointing. The food was fantastic I will say, a little pricy but well worth it, I got a sour old fashioned and I think they might've forgot to put the whiskey in it or maybe they wafted the whiskey in there. Traveling through across country and ended one night in Beloit Wisconsin. Found a listing for Liberty House Grill. We were looking for outdoor seating as we travel at times with our dogs. Lucky us they have outdoor seating and our fur babies were able to join us. The food was outstanding and both of us needed to take food back to our Hotel as the servings were very generous and the taste was outstanding. We recommend Liberty and a wonderful place to drop anchor for a wonderful meal. read more

We were seated outside, ambiance was gorgeous. Wish there was some sort netting or coverage because the bugs were out of control. I got the fish fry and my boyfriend got the pasta. He loved his pasta, incredible flavor, plenty of shrimp that were very delicious. The fish was good but it didn't come out with any tartar sauce and our server who was very sweet didn't come back to check on us until we were ready for our bill... the parmesan truffle fries were 10/10 as was the coleslaw. The calamari appetizer was excellent, great flavor and not too heavy even though they are breaded. Overall experience was pleasant. I totally would recommend this. New Years Eve Menu is what caught our attention on their facebook page. The waitress did an exceptional job. We had a drink, appetizers and the meal. Did not have to wait for anything and our waitress always made sure we were comfortable. They met all our expectations. I hope the pictures help because the presentation of our meal was superb. My family from out of town love to have cheese curds in Wisconsin. You must try: they are different but delicious. I would give more than a five and this was all of our opinion. A nice addition to Beloit! The menu is varied, and I think anyone could find something they want to eat. From steaks, to pastas, to burgers and sandwiches, you could eat on a modest budget or go all out. Service was pretty good, and so was the food. The interior will look familiar to anyone who had been to Clara Bo, but the only thing that was a miss for me was that they've added gaming machines. We had a variety of different entrées and they were all amazing plus the sides were just fabulous. We hadn't actually been to Liberty House as the last time we had been it was still Liberty Inn and as much as I liked the Inn I have to say the place looks amazing what an upgrade to the ambiance. We had the filet and the New York strip. Both were cooked to perfection. I'm usually a salad person before the main course but this time the soup of the day - cream of chicken - sounded good. The food is hit or miss. I've ordered delivery several times. Last night, I had the Liberty Burger. The onion straws were soggy and just a glob of onions in a barely cooked batter. Nice to see this place stayed serving fine dining as the decor fits the mood. The menu was a nice upgrade from previous place. The cheese curds are an interesting twist on a Wisconsin classic. The cream of chicken fajita soup was so amazing they ran out. The salads were fresh and drinks were great. Service was decent, but the speed of food varied on what you ordered. We all ordered steaks and 2 of the tables near us arrived later and got their food before us. In their defense one was a pasta and the others burgers, but still? I did see some pictures on Google before and figured they open flame cook their steak compared to a broiler. So I ordered medium to achieve medium well. This was the difference that will make you like it or not. One of us ordered medium well and it tasted very different almost charred. Overall it's a great addition to the Beloit restaurant scene, but order your steaks a level below your normal preference. Will try again just for the soup alone and those burgers that got served before us also looked good. read more

Hand muddled whiskey old fashions were delicious as were our pasta dishes (braised beef short rib ravioli with chipotle cream sauce and caramelized onions and Liberty House pasta with blackened shrimp and salmon). We made reservations for my brother in law's birthday dinner for 8:00pm, since that was first open time. We arrived on time and were told it would be a few minutes before our table was ready. After waiting 20 minutes or so, we finally went in to have a drink at the bar. If my BIL hadn't been so looking forward to eating here, we would have left and ate elsewhere. The bartender was very nice, but the rest of our interactions with the staff were not very good. We finally got seated at 8:45pm and were seated at the same time as a couple that had been having drinks & appetizers at the bar. The waitress Miranda came over and announced that she would be serving the couple first, since there were 2 of them and 4 of us, which was uncalled for and wrong of her to do. I had already explained to the hostesses that my husband had low blood sugar & needed to eat soon. That couple was finished & gone before we even got our dinners. It took almost another 10 minutes to get the bottle of wine we ordered because "the bartender had to go to the winery to get it". We also had dirty dishes on our table throughout dinner and at the end while we were having cake & paying the bill. The service was poor, but the food was excellent. We had lobster ravioli, bangbang shrimp, walleye & chicken marsala which were all delicious. The restaurant also provides a lovely mini strawberry birthday cake dessert which was beautiful & yummy. At the end, the waitress told us that in the future we might want to come Mon-Thursday which was not as busy. This struck us as a ridiculous comment to make. If you have a reservation you don't expect to wait almost an hour for your table. I was very disappointed that at no point did a manager come by to see how we were doing or to apologize for the wait. This could be an amazing restaurant but it needs to be much better managed with improved training for their staff (except the bartender who was great), a busboy or two & better timed reservations. read more

The food and waitress were excellent! I won't deny that the food is a little pricy, but given the portion sizes and high food quality and taste, I was happy to pay it. We're from Texas and in the area visiting family. "Liberty" was on request from my stepmother who's birthday it was. The only complaint we had was that the hostess was very rude and did not make eye contact. She was visually upset that upon opening at 4 pm, we arrived without reservations. Other than two small groups of people, we were the only customers...the place was nearly empty. She should have said that reservations are recommended but because they weren't at all busy, they'd be happy to accommodate us. Thankfully, all of the other employees made up for the hostess's rudeness. If it had not been for the occasion, I would have suggested we go anywhere else, but am glad we stayed! I definitely recommend the Liberty restaurant. We tried all of the appetizers, which were excellent; both soup choices, prime rib, salmon and pasta entrees; in addition to a couple of the wines and tap beers. read more

We went here last night for the 2 for $40 deal! We got cheese curds as our appetizer (which was included in the 2 for $40). They were probably the best cheese curds I've ever had. I had the chicken Alfredo. I'm very particular about my chicken Alfredo & this one blew it out of the water. It was spectacular. My fiancé got the 1/2 rack of ribs and they basically melted in your mouth. So flavorful. We also got a mojito & a mule. Our whole tab was under $60. It was amazing. We made a decision to go to Liberty House instead of Merrill Houston for our anniversary on a Tuesday & what a mistake. They open at 4PM & we were seated at 4:30PM just after they opened with 2 other sets of guest already seated. First off wife ordered a Marietta, it was tasteless & wife told waitress. Waitress came back & said they ran out of Marietta mix & bartender tried to doctor it up. Bad idea but we were offered a different drink in which my wife ordered a Amoretto stone sour. That was made correctly. Next wife ordered a fillet & I a Rib Eye both medium well with each of us ordering a loaded baked potato. Both steaks were past well done & potato was luke warm & tasteless. Fillet did not even taste or look like a fillet, more of the liking of small chunk of Chuck Roast. Got our pricy bill of $127.50 for 2 for a sub par meal. The Margarita charge of $12 was on the bill also due to it was already entered into the system. The Amoretto stone sour was not on the bill but the charge for this drink is much lower. They got our $$ this time but we will not return for a second disappointment. read more
