Great place for either food or drink. The bartenders are always top notch. The food is great - I love the Patty Melt sandwich but have tried the salads and other burgers. It's quiet enough that you can talk but you can also cheer during a game. Ashley is AWESOME also. read more

Boundaries consistently has some of the worst food, over several years now, that Ive had when dining out. Its pretty amazing. Whether its an undercooked hamburger or an Italian beef with barely any meat, or this most recent meal; It got so bad before I swore off that I would only order the taco salad because I knew the kitchen didnt make it. The most recent bad meal involved a chicken sandwich with no seasoning whatsoever on the chicken. Like many such Boundaries, meals, it lay half-eaten on my plate as I paid the overpriced bill. Service is inconsistent, but generally pretty good. Overall this is a place to get a drink, skip the dining unless its Friday fish fry. read more

Ashley makes this place for us! She is truly an amazing bartender that likes to have fun with her customers and knows how to sling the drinks. She makes every Sunday a Funday! read more

Well, I can't really say they did anything well my beer was OK but yet that came out of a bottle. We had fish. It was the worst fish I've had in forever. You go to cut a piece of fish before you can get it to your mouth, it falls apart on your plate and then the breading all falls off it was overcooked over fried and all you got was breading. The rest of it was mediocre at best. The service come to the table. What do you want? Bring your food to the table drop it off walk by with their hands full of plates and says do you want anything else then wait and wait and wait to get your check and once you finally get your check and you give her the money you wait and you wait and you wait for them to come back and give you your change and then they want a tip. I got a good tip for him. Get a new cook and work on your waitress skills oh, and by the way, I will say them girls look like they should be working at a topless club more than a restaurant. They either had pants cut up to their you know what or shirts come down to there you know what half naked the majority that was two girls that had decent shirts and jeans on never probably going back there again, and I hope you read this and take it to heart not everybody that comes in. There is a drunken man after work on a Friday night put some uniforms on those girls at least make them cover up their arms, their legs and their private parts. read more

My friend ordered the shrimp. It was way over cooked. She only ate a few. We both ordered food to go for our husband's. Whe our bill came my friend was charge $2.00 for a to go order. Nothing on menu stated that as far as saw. Then her order if onion rings was $10.00. Outrageous especially at a bar. We were very disappointed by this. read more

Rec'd a call from Ashley and she was kind and considerate. She is doing something about them overcharging me. I feel better about them now.

We came here for lunch for our first visit. We were surprised by the amount of people for early Monday afternoon. Once we sat at a table and met our server we started to understand why. Ashley was very nice and fun, the drinks were good and the food was great. Servings were large for the price and the old fashioned were real (no mix). Highly recommend!! read more

Maybe the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Servers...... rude. Food.... Bad............. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Was just there. My boyfriend was taking me out for Friday night fish. Love your blue gill dinner. Always good and service has always been great! TIL now!!!!! We were seated and no one came over. There were only 4 tables with patrons. We never got anything from a server saying hold on. Nothing. We never got water or a drink. Not a damn thing. We arrived at 4. We were early. We could see the waitstaff and an older women /owner talking by the kitchen. If it was a meeting, you think it would be prior to service hours. Instead saw giggling and laughing. They would look at our table, but no one came over. Two went to the bar and went to other tables...but nothing. It was the worst service I've had! Will not be back. We walked out. 30 minutes to get there, for that! Complete crappy service. Will not recommend to anyone anymore read more

Had Friday Fish Fry. Our fried bluegill and cod were very good. One in our party had baked Cod and the butter/oil that it was baked with fell short with a bad taste, and would not recommend. Staff was very nice and were working hard! Got there around 6:00pm and waited 15 minutes which wasn't bad. Prices were reasonable. A little loud for conversations, but overall, a place we would visit again. read more

Looking for a place to eat and found with the help of yelp. This place was packed...come to find out the front of the business is the banquet area and an event was taking place. I parked in the back...when entering off the street make a left and go to the back. The place is rustic and good sized. I chose to sit at a table vs the bar. I ordered the steak sandwich on a Kaiser roll with a side salad instead of the fries or onion strings...eating healthy. The sandwich was pretty good just a little too much grilled diced onions for me...so I took some out. I added some A1 sauce and went at it. I ordered a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Good greens... no iceberg...cuc's, diced tomatoes and red onions with croutons...I passed on the cheese. Pleasantly surprised. Comfort food at its best. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps and specialty fries. Lots of parking. read more

Really great "bar food". The menu is reminiscent of a bar's, but it matches the vibe (and the actual bar ). We had the fried pickles, cheese curds, chicken strips with fries, burger, and salad/soup. All the food was exceptional; even more so considering the price tags. The very best were the chicken strips with the Devil's Lake sauce and the fries with the Parmesan ranch seasoning. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. read more

We had excellent food, great service and the atmosphere was rustic cabin. I highly recommend the cheese curds, grilled smothered chicken wrap, the tipsy canoe burger with tater tots. It's like an "up north" bar and grill that is a definite must try! Our waitress was attentive and checked on us several times!! read more

Stopped in mid-evening for dinner. Pace was packed with what looked to be a regular lively crowd, quite personable. Ordered the grilled chicken salad, one of the better ones I've had. My daughter had the sirloin mashed sandwich, said it was ok. Good fresh cheese sticks and a very fresh WI amber beer, I missed its name. read more

Nice menu. We were with a group and the service was excellant. They have burgers, soup, salads, and complete dinners. Very spacious dining room were you can enjoy your meal and visit with comfort. Im sure they have parties etc but for us we were there when it was just a quiet atmosphere. read more

This was my first time at Boundaries and I really hope it wasn't my last. I have family in the area and was visiting for a birthday celebration. A family member had made reservations at Boundaries about a week prior. We get there early and have a couple drinks and noticed the time had passed from our reservation. We informed one of the bartenders and unfortunately their hostess was not there so we were accidentally skipped. It was already a very busy night at Boundaries with many people at the bar and many of the tables already taken. But they acted quickly, threw some tables together and we got seated very quickly. We could tell that they were understaffed that evening. Many of us have worked in the hospitality business and we absolutely understand when these things happen. We got our orders in and after a very minor wait, we got our food. It was hot,it was delicious, it was cooked perfectly. I want to commend the staff for working so hard last evening and being very sincere and nice. We all collectively agreed that this will not be the last time we will be dining at boundaries. When you go, get the deep fried pickles, they were delicious!!! Best ones I've ever had. read more

In the middle of the 2020 Covid lockdown, I had dinner at the restaurant. It took a minute to realize that the restaurant entrance was on the lower level in the rear, but I noticed the property was well maintained and attractive. Upon entering the bar section, I was surprised by how fun and current the interior decor is. My meal was very satisfying and delicious. The service was excellent. Most of all, this was the first place I had gone to in months where people were enjoying themselves. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I got food poisoning from the chicken tenders and the ranch tasted sour I don't recommend this place to anybody they took forever maybe if some actual adults worked there it could be better and less mess ups not to mention it's pretty out of the way for people time to close!! read more

Fantastic food. Reasonable prices. Tables were spaced for covid and our server was masked. We will definitely be back. I wish they were closer to our town. read more

Best crispy grilled chicken salad ever!!! $5Titos mixer Tuesday. Great bar great food

Bar/restaurant with good service and hearty good. Went for the Friday fish (it's a midwestern thing year round), the large pieces of beer battered cod was flaky and delicious, another in our group tried the blue gill, delicate filets cooked perfectly with that fresh water fish flavor truly yummy. The burgers and sandwiches there are also some of the best in this little town. read more

Our server was in training but did very well and the lady helping him was awesome to make sure everything was good and we had what we wanted. Jenny had a burger ( which she loves) I had baked cod and yummy sweet potato fries! Second time we've been here and will be back. read more

Always great food and service. We were a group of 13. Arrived at 12:30, they weren't very busy out at 2:00.

We go to boundaries frequently for Friday fish. Always delicious, and very good service.

There is nothing we don't love about this place! Atmosphere is great being tucked away under an event hall the windows look out into a forest. The wait staff is friendly and prompt, we have never waited long to eat. The Friday fish fry is amazing! Bluegill and cod are both fried to perfection, and you have plenty of yummy potato options. This is a must try place for fish fry! read more

Great waitress recommended the special which was a grilled shrimp wrap with fries. The wrap was terrific: a little spicy, a nice amount of shrimp, fresh lettuce with a enough sauce that you notice it but it doesn't overwhelm the shrimp. The fries are twice fried terrifically crunchy. The service at Boundaries is great. Our waitress checked to make sure we were happy with the wrap, made sure we had an extra plate so we could easily split our lunch and topped of our drinks when needed. read more

We decided to have an event for my niece. I had called all over the city and no one would even call back or their prices were astronomical. The food we got downstairs was great and the upstairs is beautiful. read more

I ordered food for pick up and did not eat it right away, so I cannot give accurate review but it was better than expected heated up. The fried cod and potato wedges was great. The reuben didnt look as good as expected but heated in oven later, not microwave, was better than expected. It wasnt lean thin corned beef you would expect like from Jewish deli in major metropolis like LA, Chicago, NYC, Philadelphia, but it wasnt bad. It was just a couple thick slices with some fat on edge, easily removed or kept for taste, probably from wholesaler and not homemade. Some restaurants build around a good brisket of corned beef, but this is not their specialty. But the fish and chips was what you would want to find at English/Irish pub, meaty cod and nice breading, and thick cut potato wedges, not greasy. read more

Great food! We had our family reunion there in the Birch Room. The staff was amazing and the hall was beautifully decorated. The have a screen and projector for showing slides, video or presentations. It has a nice big bar and large dance floor. We will always use this venue! read more

Ordered to go which they accommodated very well. Food is never as good once you get it home from takeout. Mainly wish the sweet potato fries were more crispy. All in all though, the portions were good and everything was quite tasty! Would revist if back in Beloit. read more

Stopped for lunch. Pork chop special was excellent! Smothered in pork gravy with a hint of smoke taste to it. One of the best I have had. Also had the Cheese curds (it is Wisconsin!) and chicken bacon ranch wrap. All very good with excellent service and reasonable priced read more

This is my newest favorite place. AWESOME char grilled burgers and the fries have a thin coating on them..crunchy good!

We are so happy with our experience we had here at Boundaries yesterday. We ate lunch in thier downstairs resturant which is a great newly remodeled area we learned. It is a big open area, very clean inside, offers lots of space. They did a real nice job! This place was very busy when we stopped for lunch. I had thier Volcano Nachos, my wife had thier BLT combo, and our daughter had the chicken strips and fries. My brother did the half order of nachos. Thank gosh he did the 1/2 order because this was a huge portion. Everything came out hot, fresh, and seasoned just right. We will be back to try the Prime Rib and some of thier different dinners options. Everyone kept mentioning this places Prime Rib. Now we know why they are so busy. All the staff is friendly and smiling as they work. We enjoyed our conversation with our waitress gal. We will be back again soon! read more

Love this place every time we go. Went Sunday night 9-3-17. Wait staff was awesome. Couldn't have asked for a nicer waitress. We ordered the prime rib sliders. AMAZING! Food is awesome every time. No complaints. read more

The atmosphere was great. The barn and heavy timber theme made for a comfortable place to eat. The server was prompt and greeted us with a smile. The server was patient as we were not sure what we wanted from the menu. The burger was delicious, and the drinks were cold. Reasonably priced and a good selection of quality prepared food is worth the trip. As a bonus, the evening Lions were meeting here. Welcoming groups that add so much to the community is another mark of a well-run community minded business. read more

Have eaten here a handful of times. Fast friendly service with great prices. Highly recommend.

Had over 180 people for our 40th Class Reunion. The bar food has always been pretty good but the banquet food was horrible. The beef was good, chicken was bland and dry, the boxed augratin potatoes were dry and tasteless and the salads sucked. We paid $19 per plate and it was embarrassing to serve that at our reunion. If you are planning a wedding reception or reunion, look elsewhere. Plus we only had one slow bartender for most the night for that many people, Took 15 mins and more to get a drink. He had a helper once in awhile, then he would disappear. I'll make sure we won't be back for our 50th! read more
