I filed the claim with my insurance last week through the app. We have Progressive and it only took just a few minutes to insert my info. It automatically generated to Safelite but was given the option to choose my own repair ship. H&S Auto Glass came out to my work today and replaced the windshield in a matter of 30 minutes. Everything was extremely convenient and communication was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Pics are attached of the small crack before, and then the spreading crack immediately after. I was going to just suck it up and replace the windshield but that doesn't sit right with me that I paid full price for them to damage my windshield further. Updating to add that safelite did reach out a few days later and address the concern. Updating to 4 stars as their customer service after the fact was good.

I had a complete windshield repair scheduled to be done at my home in Spring 2021. Everything…read moreseemed to go off without a hitch. Unfortunately, the windshield wasn't installed properly. It was rattling and I could hear wind coming in through the passenger side. I had to go to the store so that they could look at it. They found nothing wrong. After that visit, I was able to get video of the noise coming from the windshield, and took my car back again. That time, they said that some clips were loose, and they were able to fix it. Unfortunately, the noise from the windshield continued. I called to let them know that I was still having problems and the person I spoke with on the phone said that I had a second full windshield repair, which I definitely had not. I had gotten a text from Safelite, informing me of service completed, on a day that I most definitely did not have my car there. I figured they just mixed up a phone number. But no, they actually tried to say that I got my windshield replaced twice. The glass chipped in less than four months. The entire experience was absolutely horrendous. My windshield never was installed properly, I was told I received more service than I did and now it's chipped too. Went in for a catalytic converter issue to have them replaced when I got the truck back there was an air noise coming from underneath the passenger side, where the catalytic converters are. Went back to automotive two different times and they could not fix the problem.. This is on top of the fact after the first time I was there one of the mechanics backed my truck out of the garage and into a dumpster denting the back bumper. The owner after three times they could not fix the work that they did. that was $2800.
