Had vehicle towed from Walmart parking lot one Saturday afternoon ... after my wife turned the ignition, we heard a louder "whirring/bubbling sound" for a few seconds, then a little 'shimmy' sitting in the cab. Wife attempted to back out of spot - power steering was non-existent and the radiator gauge remained level but display near mileage indicator warned A/C OFF due to some thermostat/radiator issue. I had been a loyal customer here, for years. Well, I recently had a terrible experience unfortunately. My car was with these guys for the span of a couple of weeks while several repairs were being done. When I got my car back, I noticed that the driver side door handle had been replaced with a non-matching replacement handle (which was missing a lock tumbler assembly, to boot). My door handle had been swiped out /stolen while on their premises. Ask yourself, would a common thief go to the trouble of replacing a stolen part, or is this something more likely to be done by a shady mechanic? Sadly, I have come to the latter conclusion, as the car was AT a repair shop, after all... Danny did not seem to be enthusiastic about helping to resolve this situation. Why that was the case when i had just paid them about $3500 in repairs in the span of 3 weeks is anyone's guess. I'm not saying he was aware of this shady theft, but he should have offered to make it right by replacing it 100% cost free with a matching and lock containing door handle! So please, avoid this place. There may be a bad apple in their group of mechanics, or at least a criminal is prowling their lot looking for car parts to steal (But hey, at least they might replace half-assedly!). To top it off, they didn't even offer to check their surveillance footage on my behalf. Oh, and their lot is not 100% covered by their cameras - so that was convenient. One should be able to trust that their vehicle won't be stripped for parts while it waits at a car repair establishment. Avoid this place unless you want to risk that. read more

Very Professional, Organized and Trustworthy! I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this shop. I recently moved into the area and was recommended to go to Hometowne. I am always skeptical of maintenance shops, however I was quickly put at ease here. I went in because my check engine light was on and it was decoded as "cylinder 2 misfire" which could be a million things. I could have been easily taken advantage of, however they found it to be a bad spark plug. Easy and very inexpensive fix and I was out the door. Just this past week my daughter's car had some crazy electrical issue-every emergency light came on flashing and it just shut down.
