A few days later Jimmy had the special order tire in and it's being put on now. Special order in that what I had on it was not in stock and had to be pulled from the warehouse. Costly tire. And unfortunately no discounts could be given. Or were available. I appreciate being able to get it done and they guys in the shop were very fast and efficient. Looks like the tire was put on well. Scheduled an oil change appointment today, showed up on time. Manager Mr. Jimmie Vetor had a previous vehicle that I have not owned for more than two years on my account. Said he would set up the new one. Came back in I told him I was there for a full synthetic oil change, with advertised discount and $10 rebate from Valvoline posted on their website. He said he knew nothing about that and I was already getting a $20 discount. I offered to show it to him online. He became rude, said he had to call his superior, and wouldn't do anything without a code. I said I wouldn't get the oil change without the discount, at which point he started yelling at me. I said there were lots of places to get an oil change and he shouted at me to go ahead and do that, and to leave the store. Went down the road to Valvoline, walked in and got an oil change in 20 minutes, for $40 cheaper, with no appointment. Done with Tire Discounters at this location.

I explained I worked nearby, I was just going to walk. Three hours later, I got a call from the fella working there letting me know my car was ready and asking if I needed a ride to get back. When I arrived, the man in the office explained what I heard, why I heard it, and what he did to fix it. Then charged me much less than I was expecting. Last week, my wife had her oil changed at another local business. Shortly afterwards, I noticed a pool of oil under her spot in the garage. I took it in to Russell's on a Saturday morning with no appointment, and he called me before days end letting me know the "oil changers" must've over-tightened the plastic oil plug, stripping the threads. He let me know why it was leaking, he made full repairs, and let me know what to look for in the future. He also pointed out they not only change the oil, but provide a full servicing while they do. Then charged me much less than I expected. This family-owned shop hasn't let me down yet. They provide the service you need, at a completely fair price. Definitely recommend.
