I was told that they were so busy, they barely have time to breathe. Unfortunately, bad customer service catches up every time. These incidences have happened multiple times in the past 2 -3 years. The location is super convenient right in Crystal City and easy to get in and out of which is huge when you are in a hurry. The gas prices are not the cheapest in the area to be honest. I have seen better deals at other stations nearby but sometimes you just need gas and this place is right there. The pumps always work and I have never had an issue with the card readers which is more than I can say for some gas stations lol. The convenience store inside is actually pretty well stocked. They have snacks and drinks and even some basic groceries and toiletries which has saved me a few times when I needed something quick. The coffee is actually not bad either, way better than I expected from a gas station and they keep it fresh throughout the day. The staff is friendly and helpful. The guy at the register always says hi and is quick with the checkout. They also have an air pump which is free and that is a huge plus because so many places charge for that now. I have used it a couple times and it always works. Now for the not so great parts and why its four stars instead of five. The prices are really the biggest thing, gas is definitely higher here than other places in Arlington. I get that its convenient but sometimes I feel like I am paying extra just for the location. I trusted them to make necessary repairs. Monday I had to take my dog to have serious surgery all the way in Manassas. My car sputtered which caused me great concern because I was only about 15 minutes into an hour drive to the pet clinic. While my dog was in surgery I took it to a local mechanic because I didn't want any problems on my way home. After a $113 diagnostics test I was told the parts I'd just purchased in November were faulty. I called Liberty and I was told to bring it in. Tuesday on my way to Liberty my car shuts off. ON THE 395 FREEWAY! Yes. It. Shut. Off. Imagine my terror as cars were steadily moving past me. After less than a minute it started long enough for me to drive safely off of the freeway. I had the car towed in the evening and left the keys with the attendant. Yesterday (Wednesday) I get a call at 5:28 that my car is ready. I don't get there until 7:30 and the garage is closed. The current attendant gives me my keys and when I go to turn the car on, it doesn't start. I tell the attendant and he says, "I'm just an attendant, I don't work here"... I was livid. So rather than going home with my car keys and no I left the keys with the clerk and filled out another for. Today (Thursday) I call them around 1:30 to see the status of my car. Ricardo tells me that there was one car close to being finished in the next 10 minutes and that my car would be next. It is now 5:43 PM and Ricardo just called me to tell me my car didn't start because of the battery. And that he needed to order a new battery for me because they didn't have any more of the battery he needed for me. So they're kept my car a whole nother day for a battery...an absolute inconvenience and I believe a passive aggressive response to me holding them to their own warranty. I won't ever recommend this place to my friends. And they just list a loyal customer because of their shady behavior.
