A top-notch service station. Friendly and competent service, and a great place for your car inspection. Highly recommended!

Had such a great experience with my state and emissions inspection here. Usually I wait an hour or two to get in and get it completed but I was in and out in about 20 minutes tops. This is now my go to for my inspection! read more

Service emision was great, quick and affordable! Adam always works very efficient and has many years of experience.

I have been going to Adam at Lee Highway Exxon for over 15 years for my VA vehicle inspections and emission testing. He has always been very friendly, fast and efficient. He has also offered advice for needed repairs. While at my April emissions test I asked Adam if he had any advice on how to safely remove some paint that some how got on my front fender (with no damage to my vehicle). He was able to safely and completely buff off the paint while I was there and did not charge me anything. This work could have cost me several hundred dollars at an auto body repair shop. That's really exceptional service and I highly recommend going to see Adam for your testing and other service needs! read more

I found this station through Gasbuddy app as being the closest to my location. Came over and the price for premium gas on the large gas station billboard matched that on the app. Many things went wrong here: 1. Only 3 or 4 out of the 12 pump stations at this gas station actually works so you have to drive around to find which ones are operational. Despite advertising supreme gas on the main billboard this station actually does not sell supreme gas and I didn't find out until I go around all the pumps. Some of the supreme gas handles are clearly wrapped with plastic that says not operational but some are not. 2. Some of the credit card readers don't work. I put my credit card through one slot and got to the point where I entered my zipcode to verify and then the reader is stuck at that point no matter what buttons I press on the machine. I wanted the cashier to make sure this transaction is canceled lest the process goes through some time later and someone else uses this transaction to get gas on my card but the cashier is completely at a loss how to do anything. read more

Let me pile on here with more deserved praise for Adam. I've lived in the neighborhood for 25+ years and always taken my family's vehicles (old and older) to this master mechanic for inspection and most everything else. Adam is courteous, professional, fair and honest and I recommend him very highly. read more

They can fix anything! Very talented. They do safety and emission inspection. I love Adam. He's great.

I've been coming to this place for years. They've fixed multiple flat tires for me, changed windshield wipers, and performed my annual VA safety inspection. Always pleasant and speedy. I don't wait till the end of my safety inspection month, so I don't know how long the lines can get if I waited. Worst I've ever had is 2-3 cars in front of me. Most of the time they can take me right away. Like today. In and out in 20 minutes. read more

Came by on a rainy Saturday morning for an emissions test. Short line--very manageable. I went inside to ask about where I should wait in line and was greeted with a sign: "inspections-cash only." I asked the attendant if I could pay by card, and he told me that I should "stop talking for a minute so he could explain." I understand that everyone is stressed during COVID and folks are just trying to do their jobs but this was unprofessional and not at all an appropriate response in the situation. read more

Highly recommend this garage for safety inspections and emissions! I've taken both of our cars there and was in and out in no time. The mechanics are super friendly and helpful. They took the time to thoroughly explain why one of our cars failed emissions and made suggestions on how to address it. Some notes: They do not charge for a failed inspection. They are cash only. read more

Awful. Do not trust them with your car!! I took my car there as it died right across the street. I asked them to look at my alternator, they said it was fine and I just needed a new battery. $300 for the new battery and then come to find out 2 weeks later my alternator was in fact the problem and I have to spend another $400 for that, of course at a different shop. read more

My GPS brought me here when I needed a car wash. I pulled in and was instantly disappointed because I didn't see a car wash. But I needed a drink and a restroom break, so I went in and commented to the clerk about my lying GPS. To my surprise, there's actually a car wash. It's just not what I expected. It's a very nice man who hand washes, and he does an amazing job at a great price very quickly and efficiently. Great job. I'll be back. read more

I got my inspection done here. They were quick, efficient, and polite. I had a headlight and a tag light out (which I needed to pass the inspection), so I had them replace it for me since I was running late. They charged me $55, which is probably overpriced but I needed to get it done. The technician also told me I needed brakes soon, but I didn't feel like was being scammed as he told me to price out other options before I made a final decision. Overall, good experience and I would return! read more

I've been coming here for years for my VA safety and emissions testing. This past week I brought my 2014 car in for a safety inspection and was asked if I needed an emissions test. I wasn't sure so I said yes. First, the state mandated $28 is way too expensive, but when the station performs it on a 2 year old car, that is wrong. After some research, I found that newer cars are exempt from needing an emissions test for the first 4 years. They obviously chose to ignore this and charged me for something I did not need. Exemptions found on: https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/vehicles/#emissions.asp "Used vehicles of the current and three previous model years are exempt from emissions inspections for up to 4 years." Never going back here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY INSPECTION. These monkeys have their scamming system figured out - you will magically have broken light bulbs that cost your unborn child to get fixed. These guys don't give a shit - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

I have been coming to this gas station for over 20 years for inspections. My kids are grown now and they also use this station. If there is a problem with the car, they will show you what needs to be done without putting a rejection on the car. You can see if it's something they can fix or you can take it some place else. We never have to wait. Their gas has always been a little pricy but now that my Safeway points can be used there I might start getting gas there. read more

Other reviews are correct - avoid at all costs. I came here for an inspection and was told I needed a valve cover gasket replaced. Immediately after they finished, my car began backfiring (something it had never done before). When I brought it to their attention, they refused to admit there was an issue and said that the car might seem broken now, but that car repair is like surgery and that the car will be stronger in a few days. I then took my car to a real garage. Turns out their carelessness while changing the gasket damaged my spark plugs and ripped my spark plug wires. After paying a new garage $500 to fix their mistake, my car is running perfectly again. Lesson learned, never go here. They will break your vehicle. read more
