i will be pursing a law suit with this tow truck, i requested a tow through aaa due to my cars shut off, this towing service which is contracted with aaa, they tow my car, the very next day my muffler was broke and in there report they stated my muffler was already broke, the tow truck guy tried to started my carand it wouldnt. he was to busy talking about this his last trip angoing to the mgm really!!!!! they dismissed my claim an i have witness, i already contacted my lawer.count your day!!!!! read more

The workers are not wearing masks which is very dangerous. There's a sign on the door saying you're required to wear a mask but the guy at the cashier doesn't have on a mask and the guy in the mechanic shop came into the store with no mask on! I told the cashier that not wearing a mask is very unsafe and he said that he knows. He knows that's not wearing a mask is unsafe but he doesn't have one on. He's putting others at risk! Wow, well Benny who is obviously in charge of the Sales Prevention Department is a major A-hole and despite our family taking our cars there for 30 years, decides to give me major attitude today... This guy has no business dealing with the public and should be fired. I've found the other staff there extremely friendly, but Benny is terrible and I'll never ever go there again. We've used these folks for years. Knowing little about cars when we get a repair estimate we confirm it with my boyhood friends one of whom owns a multi-brand dealership and the other of whom has been his service manager. Without fail they have reported that Metro Motors' diagnoses make sense and that estimates are reasonable. (This has not been true with regard to estimates from other dealerships). Recently Bennie, the service manager, counseled us that some needed repairs weren't worth making and that we should sell the car. he then suggested what repairs would be wise to make, to enhance value, and he advised us on potential selling strategies. This Exxon essentially has as its captive clientele base all the poor souls traveling into and out of the city on MacArthur who are low enough on gas that they think they won't make it back without refueling. I say this because this is literally one of the most expensive gas stations anywhere in the tri-state area, bar none. read more

We live in the neighborhood, so aside from getting gas, we've been taking our cars here for years for regular maintenance and weird lights on the dash that come on. Or free scraping off of replacement of registration/ zoning stickers... Benny and Jessica are friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. I felt uneasy, so called Benny. He got us Dealer authorized parts and guaranty installed for less cost in 24 hours. The icing on the cake... Benny called me to tell me his estimate was for 1.5 hrs of labor, but it actually only took his guys 45 min, so he was deducting 1/2 of the labor estimate. Consistently the most expensive gas in DC. Once I pumped $15 worth of gas and got back in my car and the gauge (which is by mile and registers when I pump even $3 worth of gas) didn't move. I told the attendant that the gas didn't pump and showed her my receipt and my gauge which was at 6 miles, she said maybe I needed to drive around for it to "settle". I did, nothing happened, I came back and the woman said "well too bad, must be your car". I drove to a different gas station and pumped $5 worth and what do you know...the gauge shot right up. Beware! Take two written list of items to be done. Give one copy to Benny. Mark up your copy when he calls to suggest alternate work he suggess he do. DO NOT let him use any additives or fluids you don't normally use. Write down your MPG before you bring the car in. Tell Benny the MPG needs improving. Tell him you care about your MPG even if he does not! Ask for old parts back. There won't be many because Benny sells BP Products that supposedly save gas. I wish I had never let Benny worked on my car. I'm so concered about his disregartd for his customers that I won't let him touch my car. He's a slick talker and tells you every thing he is recomending is a lot cheaper his way than an unscrupulus repair shop. would have charged. Funny he charges the same thing the dealer priced and he didn't install new spark plugs. Write this one off to experience. Please take your cars to Benny. I changed a flat tire and was given someone else wheel with a different size and brand. They looked similar because of car brand. The car was pulling to one side but luckily i only drove short distances. I only found out about it a week later when the tire was flat again and i went back to the shop. Then I saw my wheel sitting just outside for a week without anyone asking who it belonged to. They went ahead and replaced the tire and i was told that they did not even know who other wheel belonged to. I hate the oil company but have taken my car to this station for service several times. Most recently they replaced my headlights in a jiffy so that I could get my car re-inspected. WOW! What service!!! I was on my way to an 11:30 am meeting nearby when I was almost run off of the road by a pickup truck. I ended up with a blown out tire and was able to get to this Exxon at about 11:10 am. Several people came out to help me right away and Lynn took over. I was driven by one of their employees to my 11:30 meeting, which I made it to on time! When I had a minute I called Lynn who said I'd be all fixed up by 5 pm. When I told him I had to get home to get my kids by 4, he went to get the tire from Silver Spring, rather than waiting for the delivery. My car was ready by 2 pm with a brand new tire! Lynn was fabulous!!! I hope I never have this situation again, but I lucked out to be near Parker's Exxon and have Lynn working there that day! read more

I just came back from Parker's thrilled with the service, as usual. Everyone there is so kind and helpful, and offers wonderful customer service. I went a few months ago because of a tire issue, which they fixed for free. Then I brought it back for a fast and inexpensive oil change, where they let me know what other services I should consider doing--but didn't pressure me about it, which is a nice change.
