Excellent experience. Owner Joe and son Mike could not have more honest and helpful. Moved here from out of state and needed to find a reputable repair facility for my high mileage Ford Explorer. Was aware of some issues and repairs needed in order to register and pass inspection here in Maryland. (They are also an official inspection station) After inspecting my vehicle they guided me through necessary repairs and honest assessment options based on mileage and length of time I planned on owning this vehicle. I will certainly be a repeat customer and have also advised my daughter, who is a long time resident, to also use them. Our car burns a lot of oil and we were going on a long trip today so I added oil, but I added too much. I went to Bradley Liberty and their mechanic Ryan very thankfully squeezed us in right before we had to get on the road. They helped me with my issue and I am extremely thankful that Ryan helped us on such short notice. read more

Owner very honest and knowledgeable. Good mechanics I trust with my automotive needs. Friendly and clean. My go to stop for gas and service in Bethesda! Update - Owner also stated that he was planning on returning FREE air to the public on the weekends! It will still be a fee during the week because the business has to control the backups at the corner to the building. Unfortunately it would cause the service alley to be blocked and even a few accidents to the parked cars for service! i have now learned how they cheated me of 3500 in auto repairs. the car was not running properly after they worked on it. following a breakdown in northern Jersey that cost me $2,000 I took the car to my Subaru dealer. they confirmed the work at Bradley Liberty was nor performed or badly done, using used or non-genuine parts. I'm now out another $6,000 and will pursue legal action if you are smart you'll avoid this place like the plague read more

Too expensive. Charge $10 if you want to put air in your tires yourself. The manager lacks customer relationship skills and spends the majority of his time standing outside smoking cigarettes watching people pump gas. The squeegee and water bucket are both disgusting and dirty- and smell horrible. When bringing it to their attention, they laugh. For being in the center of Bethesda, you would expect more reliable and friendly service. read more

I took my new (used) x5 here as I was worried about the squeaky brakes. The shop owner got in the car and drove around with me to understand what I was hearing. He made an easy fix, put air in my tires and wouldn't take any money from me. I know if I had gone to the dealer, or almost anywhere else, this could've cost a small fortune. Amazingly great auto service experience at Bradley Blvd Liberty this morning (Sunday). I had a really soft tire, and was looking for air to fill my tires back up. I poked my head into the repair bay and even though he wasn't officially open, the owner agreed to fill my tire. He then saw that there was a nail in my tire and proceeded to fix it on the spot. It was all done in about 5-10 minutes. What a relief! read more

I've been taking my car to Bradley Liberty for over a year, for routine maintenance and recently an AC issue. Chris has always been so helpful, knowledgeable and straightforward when explaining any issues and charges. He recently went out of his way to get me specific parts and make sure my car left in great condition. Also Claudius who works the front desk is so kind & a joy to see every time I drop off my car. If I could give this place a lower score right now, I would. We took a car in on Thursday for an oil change and a checkup before a trip. I got a call early Thursday afternoon saying they had discovered a number of issues and would be in touch later that day with a final estimate. We never got a call and the shop closed for the day. I went over Friday morning just to get something from the car we needed before the trip. I was shown the preliminary estimate of $4,600 but told that it still needed a review before becoming final. I made a point of telling them that we would be out of town until Sunday and wouldn't be able to pick up the car until then. They said they were alright with me leaving it until Sunday. I take my wife to go pick up the car on Sunday and they don't have the slip available so we can pay for the oil change and get the car back until we decide what to do about the work that needs to be done. Once again, we received no call stating that car wasn't ready for pick-up. I asked the attendant to call her boss/the owner and she refused stating that the shop is closed and that their rules say that if the ticket isn't available we just have to wait until they open on Monday. I tried explaining the screw-up that had happened on their part with no communication to us and that we needed the car. The attendant kept interrupting me to the point that I actually asked her to please let me finish what I was saying. In the end, no car today! The attendant did not seem to care at all about the situation this business had put us in. All she seemed to care about was her rules. At one point, I asked her if she even had a number for the owner. She said no. How incredibly frustrating! read more

Gas seems a little more expensive here than neighboring stations. You can skip this place if you want.

Quick in and out. This was a branded gas station until recently. Since it has gotten a little less expensive-- that is to say with the 15% Bethesda mark up. One thing I don't like is when the gas selection goes right to left and not left to right. (That is what Liberty does) It's not as bad as when they put the cheaper has in the center of the two expensive high octane gases but its a little dishonest. read more

Taking my daughter to school this morning, my low tire pressure light came on. Needing to get it taken care of right away, I stopped in at a Tire repair shop that informed me I would have to leave my car all day to get my tires checked. Moved on to this Liberty location where I was serviced immediately. The mechanic plugged my tire and had me on my way in 20 mins. Great service!!! read more

I have to say that there is no one who works here who is not supportive of our community. Everyone makes an effort to support those of us who shop there. About 2 years ago I had a bad accident and could not drive so I had to taxi home to PT and back. I wanted to walk so I had the taxi let me off at the hardware store and checked in with my friends at the gas station to see me successfully cross the street. They did. They watched over me. They encouraged my recovery. Because these folks were so friendly I got to know them. One is a pharmacist in his country, another had kids doing soccer here in MO CO. another is a good guy. No one working here does not measure up to great customer relations with the neighborhood. The employees make a difference and make Bethesda a better place to live. Everyone here makes a difference and each one matters. Smiles all around, good cheer, a kind hello and a watchful eye when I needed it most. Great business, great staff, probably more like this: great staff, great business. I am thankful that this business is in my neighborhood. Every employee makes me feel grateful for their kindness. I was worried about one of the tires on my car as it was hit by the curb. I asked the guy in the shop to take a look. He assured me the scratch was only superficial on the rubber and even checked and filled the air in all 4 tires. He did everything in 5 min and would not charge me a penny. I have to keep my loyalty and use this gas station as much as I can. They are just great!! read more

I had taken my 2002 Mercedes GWagon to the Mercedes dealership for a regular tune-up, but never haven gone to that dealership, I was presented with a recommended list of fixes that was more than 5,000 and at least twenty pages long - from replacing wiper blades (less than 6 months old) to replacing a knob (cost .90c) for $500 to doing all of the tie rods. I immediately said no thanks, and my sister-in-law recommended Stacey. PHENOMENAL - around $200 later, everything that needed to be fixed was and I was on my way. I'm now recommending her to everyone in search of a reputable mechanic. read more

I received a phone call from the owner this week. He took the time to go through his records, find a name that matched my yelp account, and call me on my cell phone in response to my review. He pointed out that I was inaccurate in my previous review, since Mini dealerships in Montgomery county charge somewhere around $130?/hour (i cannot remember exactly what numbers as I was not expecting this call at all and was surprised) and his shop charged ~$100/hr (also cant remember the number, but it was in the very low hundred, maybe 112? 102?) So there is some more accurate information about labor rates at this shop. read more

The woman who is a mechanic there is a liar and a crook. She took advantage of the fact that I was a brand new driver that knew little about cars. I had just bought my car and I am from New York, I went to her to ask for advice about how often I should fill my tires up with air- she then acted really nice and said she would do it for me for free. Clearly nothing is for free because after my first time getting my car serviced, she called me and said "I just want to give you the heads up that next time you service your car you will need new front breaks." I asked her how much and she said $500. She acted like she was an honest business woman by saying: "I let all my customers know things ahead of time, so that they are not surprised by a big bill." Although I know nothing about cars, I am aware there is a free market and that price seemed awfully high. I looked elsewhere and every other auto place gave me cheaper rates, but I decided to go to a friend's friend who is a mechanic. He serviced my car and put new front breaks in for $150- he also informed me that the breaks he switched out that were "bad"- were totally fine for another year. Don't go here. read more
