Terrible experience, compounded by using a Groupon promotion that was gifted to me. Whatever perceived savings from using Groupon are then negated by all of the hidden fees. Their disclaimers of "European, luxury vehicles, large SUVs and pick-up trucks MAY REQUIRE an additional fee" are not a "may," they are a DEFINITE as well as additional fees then for the oil filter. I advised them that they should announce the actual charges that should be in the disclaimer and not a vague "may." Getting in to get the oil change was also an adventure. Called nonstop without anyone picking up the phone so it took a trip to the station to have them tell me they can't get to me, come back another time but make sure you call first. OK, but calling gets nowhere. Anyway, I decide to return to the station on another day and get there at 8AM when they supposedly open. Nope, I was told the mechanic was not around, won't be here for another 1/2 hour. After giving all my information I went to the waiting room where I sat and could see the mechanic just hanging out and not working. And by waiting room I mean what is several gambling machines jammed into a closet with 2 chairs. All together I was in and out in two hours, I didn't think they were going to rotate the tires as was part of the package, they did, but they did not check the tire pressure and set them to what they should be as the have an offset from front to back. The Multi-point Inspection that was also part of the package was ignored. Also, looking at the receipt show they used the wrong oil viscosity. So an extra $35 for the vehicle, extra $$$ for the oil filter and then an additional $14.99 per quart for each of the extra quarts meant a sizable upcharge on top of what was already paid for the basic oil change. So let this be a lesson that getting a Groupon deal might not always lead to the savings you'd think. read more

Called ahead to ensure I could get my oil changed. Was told sure come in we are NOT that busy. I was gifted a Groupon so I used it to get an oil change. I work in VA but live in MD so my drive thru as about 25-30 minutes. I get to location and inform them that I'm there for an oil change. I was told to park car by glass doors and come in. I stood in line for over 20 mins while salesperson kept pressing the customer before me to get work done on his car. Asking the customer if his JOB is more important than his car. He kept hounding the customer to get the work done today and was adamant about it being done asap. The customer stated they had to come back another day due to work. The customer I believe got a diagnostic done on the car because they were discussing several things that needed to be done. The customer wanted to take the diagnostic report with him so it could show the breakdown down of work and the charges. The sales person refused to allow the customer to have it. Now if a person PAYS for a diagnostic done on a car then they also pay for the report from that diagnostic. So again after waiting 20-30 minutes in line it was finally my turn. I tell the same sales person I'm here for an oil change and I had a Groupon. As soon as he heard Groupon his entire attitude and demeanor changed. He then states I would have to leave my car because they won't be able to get to my car until 5pm/6pm and I had arrived at 10am. There was ONE car in the bay. Why would you have me stand in line for almost 30 minutes if YOU couldn't get to my car right away? I explained how far I drove and that I called ahead. He kept cutting me off. So I told him I would report him to Groupon and let Groupon know how he treats customers with Groupon. If you're upset that customers are using Groupon then don't partner with Groupon. I go to my car and immediately report him be the business to Groupon. As I'm reporting one of the mechanics comes out to my car and says they are ready for my oil change. I explained what the sales person said and he was even confused because he said they had space in the bay for another car and that they weren't busy and could do the oil change. Not a good experience as a first time customer and I will never be back. Very unprofessional and they pressure people to commit to the work needing to be done right then and there. Went to another location 10 mins away and was treated with professionalism, respect, integrity and honesty. read more

So I really can't say much because I pulled in and got gas & left. It looks like they are part of the Tire & Auto now. The gas station self is located on Rt. 50, which is very busy. The pumps closest to the building are tight & that was the open one so I had no choice but to use it. I did get stuck waiting for the person in front of me to finish & this is my main reason I only gave four stars, although I'm not sure how much they can do to change it at this point. I did everything self-service so I did not interact with any staff nor did I see the inside or their Covid compliance. I also washed my windows while my gas was pumping & my container did not have any paper towels so I had to go to the other one to get some; not a biggie but little details mean a lot. read more

I bought groupon Shell Full Synthetic Oil Change with Free Comprehensive Vehicle Check-Over. After the oil change was done I expected the document outlining the "Comprehensive Vehicle Check-Over" result. When no document was provided I asked about the "Comprehensive Vehicle Check-Over" . The mechanic immediately provided the answer: "Comprehensive Vehicle Check-Over" is not included in the service. After some thought he corrected himself saying : No, the "Comprehensive Vehicle Check-Over" was done. When asked what are the results , the mechanic answered the everything was OK. I pressed him asking about brakes. His answer was that brakes were good. I went recently to another shop and another mechanic showed me that my rear brakes were completely worn and there is no gap between pads and rotor. I think that "Comprehensive Vehicle Check-Over" was never done to my vehicle. I could forgive the Shell mechanic that he forgot the full check included with the service, but the fact that he lied to me straight in my face makes me very uncomfortable to go to this shop again. read more

5/20/22 Yesterday I was given the opportunity to get a screw out of my passager side front end tire. I met the manager Adam Abutaa who was cleaning up the mechanic shop. As organized as the place was, I thought they were closing down for the night. Nope, Adam informed me he has a case of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) when it comes to cleaning. I found Adam to be very helpful and polite. Apparently he is not only a manager, but a mechanic too. He removed the nail in my vichele quickly. In no time at all, I was on my way home. There's a young white man working late that tried to steal $300 off my card. I generally don't have to go in to use my card but the pump screen prompted me to. I go inside get everything situated. Not even a hour rolls by he try's to steal money. I got a notification from my bank. I've started locking my cards after usage due to so much fraud and turns out this tactic works. When in the area, this is where I like to buy gas: prices tend to be the same as the station across the street (Suncoco? The one in front of the Giant store) but are much less than the Exxon which is in front of the same plaza across the street and yesterday was 21 cents more a gallon.. If you are a Fuel Rewards member, sign up for email receipts and you will receive one right away, which is fantastic if you need that for an expense report (and then you won't have that little piece of paper which prints out of the pump). The woman at the register at 11:30 am on New Year's Day was nice; I usually just pay at the pump, but had cash this time . Another bonus is paper towels at the pumps (maybe this is just my pet peeve - OK, one of them! - but I always have one in my hand when pumping so I don't have the gas smell on me). read more

More than just a gas station - they have a garage, sell tires and perform emissions & safety inspections. I have used them for emissions & safety inspections in the past as well as received an auto glass repair quote. They were courteous and helpful. The fact that you can grab a gratis coffee, tea or hot chocolate while you wait or are getting gas is a plus. read more

Little hard to get in from 50 because traffic usually blocks the entrance so you have to drive little bit further down to make a u-turn to get in. Other than that, price seemed to be average and kept clean outside and around the pump areas. read more

Do not fill up here!! I just got gas here last evening as I was very low. I put in more gas than my tank actually allows. I have a 2012 Acura MDX and the tank size is 21.00 gallons. Obviously I got to the gas station with something left in the tank and it let me put 21.1 gallons in it. MEANING....Their gauges are falsified. read more
