In fact, the prices are much lower than any convenience store price. This is especially true for the beer case prices. We picked-up a case of Coors and a case of Heineken for at least 20% less than what we would normally pay at a grocery store. The selection here is also much more robust than anywhere else. They even have a cigar section of all things! I like to shop here especially for those special occasions. They always have had everything in stock that I need.

After the expensive transaction, I asked for the gift card back because I knew the value was $100. The sales person replied the gift card had no money on it and that she had thrown it away. I didn't want to accuse the sales person of lying about the gift card value in front of her colleagues, so I left the store. Mistake! When I got home and looked at the receipt, I saw the gift card did indeed have a remaining balance of $19.76. Be careful! Check your receipt carefully before you leave the store and get the gift card back if you have any concerns.

At first, the selection was a bit intimidating as they have tons of the PG (Paul Garmirian) line but not much else. However, a quick trip down memory lane on what I enjoyed a few months back at J. Gilberts quickly reminded me that I thought the PG cigars were quite good. You do have a price range - you can get some smaller gauges for around $5 and keep going up in quality and depth to $35 on some. I recommend trying a sampler to get your feel for what you like or have the tobacconists recommend a few smokes based on your preferences. In my opinion, it's fairly priced for what you're getting and it only gets pricey when you start thinking of buying boxes. But if you can't afford to enjoy smoking your money, why are you in the shop to begin with?
