Lied that they did not recieve my prescriptions from my doctors office because they were missing my insurance information. I had just moved from out of state and the insurance information on file with CVS needed to be updated. Then they told me my insurance wasn't active when they typed it in wrong. Finally lied that they did not have one of my prescriptions on file when my insurance would not cover it. it was $30 without insurance but I had to push them to admit they had the prescription. I can not imagine the harm if I were a polypharacuetical patient who didn't know exactly what I was perscribed or had access to the CVS app which told me they were lying. When I spoke to the manager she shrugged and asked me what I wanted her to do about it. Pharmacy repeatedly assured me a specialized drug was "on order" and "expected soon." Despite requests for more detailed information, such as an approximate date when the drug might arrive, no further information was provided. Today, after one month has passed, and with difficulty in managing my symptoms without the drug, they informed me they would not have the drug -- and they did this ONLY after I insisted on an answer about expected arrival date. read more

I've been filling prescriptions at CVS Store #01905, and what happened on September 2, 2025, was beyond unacceptable. One of the pharmacy employees confronted me in the parking lot, told me to "pull up" like he wanted to fight, mocked me with "take your meds," and then flat-out told me he would not give me my prescribed medication. This wasn't inside the pharmacy during a professional interaction -- it was in the parking lot, before I even walked in. This behavior is threatening, humiliating, and discriminatory toward patients who depend on controlled medications. Denying a valid prescription out of personal bias or hostility is not only unprofessional, it's dangerous. Patients should feel safe and respected when picking up their prescriptions, not harassed and intimidated. If you value your health and safety, avoid this CVS location at all costs. read more

Came here to make some copies of a beautiful picture of my son's Godmother. At the time, the store was not busy and I was able to get on the photo printer, which is self-service & I love that, and I put in what I wanted to make my copies, waited a few seconds and was done. I checked out and was on my merry way with the whole process taking less than 10 minutes. Plenty of parking out front & this CVS tends to be very clean & tidy & I love that. read more

Piss poor customer service at Pharmacy today. I understand having to go back to my car and get my ID to by Sudafed, but I do not agree with having to lose my place in line and go to the back of a much longer line. I left in disgust, and I'm in a CVS in DC that let another customer keep their place in line, reinforcing my sense that the guy in Falls Church was being petty, arbitrary or both. read more

If you can avoid filling your prescriptions at this pharmacy, I highly recommend you do so. Worst customer service ever. They tell you they'll fill your prescription by a certain time and it's never ready on time. They don't fill it until you're standing in front of them asking for it or by the very end of the day when there's a huge line. They come off very lazy and uninterested in filling prescriptions in a prompt manner. I'll never refill a prescription here again. read more

Beware of this pharmacy. I have been having issues with this pharmacy prior to this comment but I take into account how busy it is, but tonight was just too much. A prescription was sent in early in the morning to be filled, I went in around 5:45p.m.to pick it up and they could not find it at all. I was about to walk out when one of the pharmacist found it waiting to be processed. They told me to wait. I had to wait another 45 minutes, and when it was finally filled, let's just say it took another 5-10 minutes to get paid and out. This. Pharmacy needs some heavy overhaul. After the Minute Clinic, I tried to find some other medicine for another family member, but did not find it here. The store itself is well kept and spacious, but they are a little short on staff. I saw a manager who reminded me of a kid name John Edward's back during my 7th and 8th grade years. The manager had a nice tattoo on his forearm which went well with the black shoes, black pants, red shirt and black tie with the slick black hair. The manager was a cool dude. Looks like he runs a tight ship, but is cool to work with. Apparently this store is hiring should you need work. read more

I prefer to support local businesses when I can do it pains me to do this. Also, as you may note, the vast majority of my reviews for other businesses are very good. But today was the last straw. This store location is woefully under stocked on the items you normally find at a drug store. I'm basing this on eight trips over 18 months. The store is also understaffed so you can't get anyone to help you track anything down and the clerks I have encountered just don't care. We also had a horrible experience with my daughter's COVID test. I like the CVS chain overall, but I would get in my car and spend gas money (at these current crazy gas prices!) to go anywhere else but this location. read more

I'm taking a lot of medication for chronic illnesses so I'm in this tore many times a month. The pharmacists in the location are fantastic. It's a very busy store and from the moment these pharmacists and pharmacy techs walk in, they don't stop serving patients. There are lines of people there well before the pharmacy opens with prescriptions in hand waiting for the store to open. Personally I don't know how they do what they do. They always will answer questions and they do the best they can as the store is constantly crowded and the phones are constantly ringing off the hook. I've never had a bad encounter with anyone behind the pharmacy. The store itself is ok, no complaints on that end, but the pharmacy deserves a ton of credit read more

as I walk out of my car I see the beautiful ruby red CVS logo so i know I'm at cvs. It is a lovely path as I walk into the beautiful red doors and place my feet on the lovely comfy carpet floor made of fabric. I was too exited and didn't know where to start. First, I went to get a pack of gum at the pharmacy. The glossy white heart with the vanilla white color when it says pharmacy. The rosy red wall is very beautiful and pulls the vibe of this place. I see my favorite gum flavor,watermelon and snatch it. I put it in my cart. I go to the freezer where the nutritious drinks are. The freezer is icy and cold and keeping the nutrients cold. I get a water. CVS water tastes the best. I gently put the water in my cart. I remember I need sunscreen. I walk while looking at the beautiful glossy white signs that tell me what to find in certain areas. I eventually find the sunscreen and take it. I eventually go and pay at then self checkout. I pay and the receipt was long and full of coupons for my next CVS trip. I totally recommend going here! read more

I had a similarly terrible experience as Barot T. with a supposed Covid vaccine. I'm still too upset and angry to go into all the terrible details, so suffice it to say that I was overlooked, disrespected, and generally treated very badly. I will never - ever step foot in that pharmacy again. Thankfully, I don't have to because there are many others that are managed properly. Rude. I did get my medication refilled here, but the pharmacy staff were quite rude. I stood in line 3 times. The first time, the staff member needed to take my insurance card and update the information. She passed me off to someone else. Rudely. He did not have a register so passed me back to the first line. The first woman sent me to the back of the line. And when I got to the front, refused to help me. Was rude to me about why. I will not return. The CVS 1/4 mile east is much more pleasant. read more

Really slow service; I wish this wasn't the most convenient CVS for me to go to; I will probably try a different pharmacy next time instead of coming here. I had a prescription sent to a slightly further CVS and then changed it to this one, but wish I had gone there instead, or will go to Harris Teeter pharmacy instead. I called this CVS to get a prescription transferred, and they said it would be about 20 minutes for me to get it filled. Then, when I get there, there was a line of 3-4 people in front of me, and only one cashier. They had trouble locating people's prescriptions, and the line moved slow as molasses - I was waiting almost 10-15 min. When I finally got to the front of the line, they told me my prescription wasn't ready and it would be ready soon. When I asked what "soon" meant, they told me it was going to be another 10-15 minutes. I've had much better luck at other pharmacies and CVS locations; this one was very unimpressive in terms of pharmacies go. They need to have more staff working or people who are a little more competent and faster at dealing with large amounts of people picking up prescriptions. Also at most pharmacies, they have a pharmacist on staff to tell you about the medication, side-effects, etc, but this particular location didn't have anyone for check-out. I suppose you can always read stuff on the attached paper and online, but if you have questions you want answered, you probably won't get that here. read more

Friendly staff and an orderly store make this a standard and well run CVS. What sets it apart however is that they have an ATM run by USAA, the first I've ever seen in my life. This happens to be my bank which is for the most part online, so that explains my astonishment. This is a win. read more

I was looking for a Minute Clinic and called ahead to see if there was one there. The woman on the phone was very nice and said "I'll see you when you get here". We walked in and she welcomed us. Another lady at the back of the store helped us sign in. The nurse on duty was very professional and pleasant to talk to. She diagnosed my problem right away and gave me a prescription. If I ever have an issue again, they will be my go-to Clinic. read more

We made appointments for Covid vaccines here two weeks in advance. Up until the time of the appointment, we were constantly getting reminders on our Cell Phones and our e-mails to confirm our appointments, to remind us of our appoints and even to check in online. We did check in online and arrived at the pharmacy to be told that they did not have any vaccines available. Apparently a power outage 5 days before caused all their supplies to go bad. When we asked the Pharmacist why we were not notified, she told us that she had left a phone message--not on the cell phones that we used to make the appointments, but on our land line--which has not been operational for 5 years (which was in CVS's records). Why she did not call our cell phones or send us an e-mail was not explained. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. I had taken the afternoon off for the vaccination and the next day off for recovery. If they had been professional enough, courteous enough or just competent enough to contact us USING THE CONTACT INFORMATION PROVIDED, then we could have rescheduled. Heck, if they had just cancelled the appointment, we would have received a notice instead of the slew of reminders for our appointment. Instead, they cancelled it AFTER we showed up and we received the notice as we were walking out the door. I think CVS is still a decent company, but this branch and this pharmacist are not professional or committed. I will never again trust them with my healthcare or my prescriptions. read more

GOOD THE I've checked before giving it to him. And on top of that, when I went back to tell them, the pharmacy staff was unprofessional, very rude, Zero customer service, and did NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE. They lied, denied, and insisted this is only type of medication tgat is available and they tried to put the blame on my doctor. I was like it is LITERALLY WRITTEN ON THE PRESCRIPTION, so who is wrong and knowing their job? Obviously and clearly it's the Pharmacist . Additionally, they have re-charged me again, didn't refund my money from the first wrong order. Reported to CVS HQs but nothing was done. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. We are paying money for the service and deserve respect and at least an apology when things like this happen , and not to be yelled at, argue and treat us like idiots who don't know anything. Usual CVS with all the usual stuff and a pharmacy that keeps standard CVS pharmacy hours. They aren't 24 hours so check the hours before you head here to pick up a prescription on the evening or weekend. Parking can be a nightmare here since I think they have a couple of supposedly reserved spots but everyone seem to park in this lot to check out all that Broad Street has to offer. Unlike most other locations, they don't have self check out here and that can result in long lines to check out at the pharmacy and the front register. It's the closest location to me so I'll go here but I wouldn't go out of my way just to visit this location. read more

Recently I have been in that store few times to pick my medications. This time I had to deal with a very rude and unprofessional person by the name Ahmed K. Seid who claimed to be the manager. A lady was helping me looking at prices for Eliquis for me when he jumped in and took over with a very bad and offending attitude. He was very rude and told me that I go there too many times!!! Each time I go there is to pick up a new medication because of my recent surgery. Each time I go there I buy the expensive Eliquis medicine and of course pay for it $10.00-$15.00 for each 5mg tablet. Why is he bothered that I am a repeated customer??? Why would he treat a regular customer the way he did. I strongly believe he should not be working there with his attitude or get some professional training learning how to deal with customers. This kind of employees, especially in the management level damage would damage the reputation of CVS. I am not going back there ever. What a shame!!! read more

Gets the job done fine, but feels a bit like a dinosaur now with newer and cleaner pharmacies nearby. One time they messed up my prescription, but I can't be sure whether it was the doctor's office who made the mistake. CVS then said they would reorder it, but they never did. I've had other prescriptions filled here and they were fine, and service was friendly enough. I don't prefer to fill my prescriptions here, but it's an acceptable alternative. read more

On Saturday afternoon, 14 August 2021, female pharmacist was an absolute witch to my husband, a cancer patient, who inquired about getting a third shot as a COVID-19 booster. Not only was she rude and condescending to his question, the guidance she offered does not follow what the CDC is saying. She claimed that a physicians note outlining his condition would be required. That is not in line with the CDC guidelines, nor is it what other pharmacies require in order to receive this booster. I would recommend staying far away from this woman and her horrible attitude and lack of customer service and empathy for cancer patients during this pandemic. read more

This CVS entrance is located on West Broad Street in downtown Falls Church. There is ample parking to the side of the store and in back. The spaces say reserved for CVS, Dogwood Tavern, and one other (I forget), but are difficult to read. I drove around a bit because I thought they were all for Dogwood, until I realized CVS was the first company listed. The store itself looks like it's stocked pretty well, though I have not bought anything from there. This review is for the pharmacy. I needed a prescription transferred from my old CVS to this one. That was not an issue, all it took was a phone call to the pharmacy staff and they were able to transfer it almost immediately. They do call and/or text you based on your preferences to let you know your prescription is ready for pickup. When I got to the counter I let the woman know that I was picking up a prescription, and gave her my name and date of birth. She asked me to spell my first name SIX times, and every time she repeated it back she kept saying "E" was the first letter. Whatever, end of the day mind fog maybe, but it took a while. She then is looking for my prescription, and can't find it. She asks me if she's sure it's there. I explained that I had called in and had received two texts telling me it was ready at that specific location. The pharmacist then came over and was able to find it. Maybe it was a one-off experience - it was my first time using this pharmacy, so I'll give it another shot. It's close to where I live and convenient, which is an important factor. read more

This pharmacy is in a strip mall with lots of other shops. It is small, but adequate. Giant Food is nearby. The employees are nice.

The pharmacist (Asian lady) and the whole crew who works at the Pharmacy are extremely rude and no customer service. My mom and I were waiting for 20 minutes while all of them were just standing there. We asked question but weren't helpful and was giving us attitude. How could you work in that environment and all they care about is money. If the staff are not happy working there, then, find somewhere else to work. If you're not happy with you job, then quit! This review is strictly for the pharmacy which is absolute trash. I had initially scheduled a vaccine appointment online. However, once I arrived for my appointment the pharm tech with a rude demeanor insisted that they do not provide vaccines at all. This is ridiculous because I had already called customer service confirming that they do provide these services. She insisted that I was the one who was wrong and that I may have booked an appointment with Minute Clinic when it CLEARLY says in the email to please check in for your appointment at the pharmacy pick up counter. I even went and confirmed with the minute clinic staff that the appointment made was with the pharmacy. After the continuous run around and no one even bothering to help with the situation I just left. The tech's attitude was uncalled for and the staff need to have better training on the services they advertise for. read more

I don't much like this location but for the most part CVS pharmacy's have gone downhill quite a bit. I think that they are wanting to try to get rid of pharmacists to do most business by mail order has created a huge crunch on staffing. That being said my prescriptions are almost never ready on time or there is confusion trying to get them filled with the Insurance or other items. Some of the medications I've needed have not been in stock in the event order them. I think the biggest thing that annoys me though is there is always a pretty long line to pick up your prescriptions during any type of rush hour so plan on spending a good 20 minutes in line before you'll get your medications. I believe the staff works hard, and is overworked, but their friendliness is just so so. read more

I called in for a prescription like I always do. Of course like always it wasn't ready. The manager Jerry and Bibi are both very rude. When I picked up my prescription and arrived home I noticed it was a different prescription. I called the pharmacy and spoke with Bibi who stated that they no longer make that medication. I wondered why I was charged triple the price than the other. And realized they tried an up sale on me. The worst thing about the whole situation is that Bibi the pharmacist stated they don't make the cheaper one anymore. Complete LIE. I ended up calling three other CVS stores that stated that they still carry it and she was trying to get more money from me. This is the second time they have done this. They were also very rude to my Doctor's office. My Doctors office called and told them you should not give an unauthorized medication without approval first. Also, DON'T LIE !!!!! I don't know about the rest of the store, but the Pharmacy staff here is the best I've ever experienced. Most CVS pharmacies are rude and do the least customer service possible, acting like it is a huge inconvenience to ask them a question. Not here! I've been going to them for 18 years and some of the staff is still there. I even moved from Falls Church to Arlington, and still return here because of the Amazing service. I tried CVS pharmacies near my current house in Arlington, but nothing compares to this team. Somehow they get excellent staff to work here. I truly hope that CVS and the management of this store acknowledges the exceptional staff here because they have a gold mine. These folks need to be rewarded for their work ethic. (True this, but also, I selfishly say this because I never want them to leave). You have the best pharmacy Award for Falls Church, but I think you deserve it for the entire DC metro area. This is the slowest most mismanaged CVS I've ever been too! The lines to check out and to get prescriptions will take at least half an hour if there is more than 1 person in front of you. When lines start to build the cashiers call for assistance but help doesn't arrive even when there are more employees around. I avoid this CVS at all costs and can't wait for the Harris Teeter to open across the street. A little competition couldn't hurt this place. read more
