I might look stupid, but I am not that stupid! I declined the service. We have taken my wife's car to Del Ray Service Center for the past few years. I knew I could trust them for an honest assessment of my brakes. I left Passport Infiniti and went straight to Del Ray Service for a second opinion. They were busy when I walked in, but they took the time to take a close look at my brakes. They assessed that my brakes are good for at least another 20k miles. It is sad that the dealership Passport Infiniti that I bought my car from has such a dishonest service department. The great thing is that the people of Alexandria have an honest Mechanic at Del Ray Service Center that they can go to and get a truly fair assessment of their vehicle. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, talented and great Service Center.

I needed a new transmission and I was told the cost would vary depending on whether the transfer case needed to be reprogrammed -- that would be an extra $500. When I picked the car up, they told me that fortunately reprogramming wasn't needed. They could have said the opposite -- I would have paid the extra $500 -- and there's no way I would have ever known the truth. When taking my car in solely for an oil change, after it was complete my car was returned to me with the driver's seat reclined an absurd amount. Additionally, the electronic switch to raise the head of the seat was broken and I knew for a fact it was not broken before I took my car in to get serviced. The next day, I brought it back to address the issue and have the shop fix it because it was very difficult for me to drive my car with the seat reclined so much. I did not feel like my issue was taken seriously initially by the mechanics. When explaining the issue, it seemed like they thought I didn't know how to raise the seat up in my own car. It wasn't until showing them the problem that they admitted this was a real issue they would need to run diagnostics and charge me for. I asked why they would feel a need to recline the seat this much to complete an oil change in the first place, and they continuously doubled down that the mechanics have to be able to move the driver's seat in any way they need to drive the car and could not admit the issue was their wrongdoing. It makes sense to me to move the seat towards and away from the wheel, but my seat was reclined so much from the original position that seemed incredibly unnecessary. After running the diagnostics, they wanted to charge me almost $900 total to replace the switch altogether. When expressing to the mechanics once again that this issue is on them because the seat was not broken before I brought it in for the oil change and it is ridiculous to ask me to pay this much especially in labor charges, they would not budge on their stance that they can move the seat however they need and said charging this much and replacing the whole switch is what needed to be done. The next day I called right when the shop opened to speak to the manager about this issue. Every time I called, the mechanics said the manager would be in later that day and everytime I called after that the manager was never available. Eventually in the afternoon, the mechanics were able to communicate the issue to the manager themselves, and later on they updated me that the manager is aware of the issue and looking into it to see what he wants to do.I made it clear to the mechanic I spoke to that I still wanted to speak to the manager myself, and they said they will give the manager my number to call me. I never got a call from the manager, instead the shop called me back saying the manager wants the shop to comp all charges with this switch fix except the part. I made it clear that this is the least they could do because they were the ones that caused this issue. I still want to speak to the manager about this and they expressed that the manager had left for the day and is busy so wouldn't have time to call me about this, which I think is incredibly cowardly of the management of this shop to not be willing to hear out the customer's concerns directly. When picking up my vehicle the staff was incredibly unfriendly and visibly upset about the whole situation. I asked if the part had a warranty and was met with an "I don't know, I think a year." When asking if they could confirm that with someone that knew, they responded "It's a year warranty" without verifying with someone else. When paying for the cost of the part (which was $250 that was for an issue I did not cause) I politely asked if they had a discount for nurses/first responders and was met with "why should we give you a discount, we're already losing money on this." I will not be returning because of the lack of customer service and the lack of respect I was met with from staff as a single young woman.

Called for an estimate on my car. They told me to come in pretty much the following week. Really…read morebusy on a holiday Monday yet they took the time to see my car and squeezed me in. Turned out my wheel bearings were rusted on (something I suspected). They waived the inspection fee but it was still pretty pricey. At the end of the day you do get what you pay for - good friendly service and no BS. There were other minor issues with my car that any other provider would have happily tried to overcharge me for but the service tech mentioned them and either knew I could get them done (battery change, wipers, etc) or was not a pressing issue. Expect their prices to be on the higher end. For quality service, I'd recommend it.

Just to make sure I got there early (12:30). When 1PM came around the scheduler said that things would be delayed. How long? Not sure. They are a good repair shop, but as I said previously their scheduling sucks! They should not be making appointments they cannot keep. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the last time, but not this time. I will be going elsewhere from now on. They lost a loyal customer of 20 years permanently. I will not be returning.

I am so disappointed. No. Disappointment isn't the word. I'm pissed…read more I bought my car here in October and November of 2018. I got over $2000.00 years work done. I trusted them to make necessary repairs. Monday I had to take my dog to have serious surgery all the way in Manassas. My car sputtered which caused me great concern because I was only about 15 minutes into an hour drive to the pet clinic. While my dog was in surgery I took it to a local mechanic because I didn't want any problems on my way home. After a $113 diagnostics test I was told the parts I'd just purchased in November were faulty. I called Liberty and I was told to bring it in. Tuesday on my way to Liberty my car shuts off. ON THE 395 FREEWAY! Yes. It. Shut. Off. Imagine my terror as cars were steadily moving past me. After less than a minute it started long enough for me to drive safely off of the freeway. I had the car towed in the evening and left the keys with the attendant. Yesterday (Wednesday) I get a call at 5:28 that my car is ready. I don't get there until 7:30 and the garage is closed. The current attendant gives me my keys and when I go to turn the car on, it doesn't start. I tell the attendant and he says, "I'm just an attendant, I don't work here"... I was livid. So rather than going home with my car keys and no I left the keys with the clerk and filled out another for. Today (Thursday) I call them around 1:30 to see the status of my car. Ricardo tells me that there was one car close to being finished in the next 10 minutes and that my car would be next. It is now 5:43 PM and Ricardo just called me to tell me my car didn't start because of the battery. And that he needed to order a new battery for me because they didn't have any more of the battery he needed for me. So they're kept my car a whole nother day for a battery...an absolute inconvenience and I believe a passive aggressive response to me holding them to their own warranty. I won't ever recommend this place to my friends. And they just list a loyal customer because of their shady behavior.
