He went back and changed the wipers on his car. Next, it's my turn. After the mechanic does the inspection, he approaches me and (surprise!) he has to fail me because my wipers "need" replacing. If I let him change them for me for $50, then he can pass me. Interesting, because my husband put new wipers on that car 2 months ago. Your option is to let them extort you for $50 or drive around with a failed inspection sticker and waste another hour in line somewhere else. They know they've got you and they think you're stupid. There is entertainment at the pump with their tv screen where you get recent news. I think I've also used their air pump which cost $1.00 and you can get change from the cashier. Overall, cheap gas and you can get an even more discount if you have rewards from your Safeway Club. Just be sure to swipe your card or manually enter your phone number.

All this and he actually listens to what the problem is and gets it instantly. RARE around here. He had it done on time, perfect communication. I met 2 customers at the shop and both said the same thing about Ali and how he was honest and how they followed him from one shop to another where he worked. Now I think he's part owner. I have both heard and read many great things in my local community about their auto repairs, but I have never used them and cannot attest to the validity of these claims; however, it would be worth checking them out.
