Ive always been picky about my Doctors because sadly as an Autisti/ADHD person it's hard to find…read morekind, caring Doctors. But I struck gold when I started seeing him. Both him and his staff have always been so kind and patient with me, and they are ALWAYS on top of things!! When you're in Pain Managemen, it's great to know that you're taken care of along with taken serious. I've been seen by other doctors in regards to my back, hip, and leg injury's and they've all treated me like trash. But with Dr. Perdikis and staff, they've always treated me like a real human being who lives in pain everyday. I'm thankful for them going above and beyond and making sure that I'm always am taken care of or that I get the help that I need.

I would love to give Dr. Perdikis - the doctor himself - a five-star review. He takes his time,…read moreasks about your history, listens with intent, and is very personable. Understood the issue, frustrations, and gave both sage advice and medical care. His staff, on the other hand, is what makes this a one-star. They don't know how to handle insurance queries, deny speaking with you, and are now a full week into NOT resolving the problem with a prescription. I've had to call his office, the pharmacy, and insurance, going in circles, to find out the document his staff stated wasn't received actually had been. But, having found it, they filled it out wrong, causing a second denial! Their response? "We provided them with the missing information." And have done nothing since. I expect a pain management office to understand the necessity of maintaining medication levels to best manage pain. There is no sense of urgency, ownership, or just basic customer service.

However, I want to take a moment to recognize RN Elizabeth Thomsen, because she truly made such a positive difference in an otherwise difficult experience. Elizabeth was absolutely amazing. She was kind, caring, compassionate, friendly, and genuinely made me feel like someone actually cared about what I was going through. She had such a great personality and even managed to make me laugh during a stressful and uncomfortable situation. Her patience, professionalism, and willingness to take the time to check on me and make sure I was okay did not go unnoticed. You can tell that Elizabeth genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in what she does. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, heard, and cared for. She was, without a doubt, the best part of my experience at Antelope Valley Hospital. Employees like Elizabeth are what make a difference in healthcare. I truly hope the hospital recognizes what an incredible nurse they have in her. She deserves all the appreciation and recognition for the compassion and care she gives to her patients. Thank you, Elizabeth, for being so wonderful and for making a difficult experience a little easier. You are truly one of a kind!
