I had to call the main office and let them know I was having a hard reaching them. Once they transferred me the girl that answered was rude. She seemed bothered that I was calling. All I wanted was to schedule my son for his PT appointments. I wanted to find out why he did not have future appointments and she had the audacity to say " I don't know" I asked can you please check? Did he complete the sessions? Does he need additional sessions? I got the impression that she was not interested getting my son scheduled.

Mother had an Interlaminar Epidural Steroid injection and was sent home…read more What makes this negligent is, Shes 73 and she kept asking Dr Singh if she needed someone to take her and bring her home. Response provided was No. She was also not provided with aftercare paperwork as to what to expect. She was not to rest for the next 24-48 hours. She was not told to ice the injection if needed. When she went back the next day for the aftercare paperwork on Friday, she was told, it will be ready Tuesday. She's never had this type of injection before and thought she only receiving a quick pain relief shot. I took her back and Tuesday and was furious to say the least. Front office stated, paperwork not ready. I as her daughter asked if the Dr was available to speak with. They sent a young lady out. I know it wasn't her fault but my anger got the best of me, and no I did not curse at her. I did however raise my voice. A Dr came in to speak with me because everyone in his lobby could hear me yelling, they are negligent. How could they allow an elderly person to drive themselves home following a procedure like that. The Dr then asked me for my Medical or scientific evidence stating or proving a person is not to drive themselves home or anywhere else afterward. I brought up the fact of no information about an ice pack on the injection area if feeling discomfort. Dr then asked me for my medical evidence again. He stated he went to school for many years to build his practice with his colleagues and he felt disrespected by me. Seriously Sir! I feel you have no respect or care for your patients by conducting these procedures and allowing patients to drive right after. I said thank God Shes ok. He mocked me and said Yes, thank God. We did our job and Shes ok. If anyone of have family who go there for procedure, have them stop. Just my opinion. If you are familiar with these procedures, You are not and Drs will not provide service unless you have someone to drive there and back home. Facility: Antelope Valley Hospital Date of Incident: October…read more2-3, 2025 Procedure Scheduled: Surgical treatment for meralgia paresthetica Assigned Surgeons: Primary: Dr. Farrukh Backup/Secondary: Dr. Rafael Lemus Summary of Events On October 2, 2025, I was scheduled for a surgical procedure requiring the presence of both the primary surgeon, Dr. Farrukh, and the secondary surgeon, Dr. Rafael Lemus, as well as the anesthesiologist. According to hospital protocol and the arrangement agreed upon by the surgical team, no part of the procedure was to begin unless all required personnel were present. Despite this requirement, the hospital proceeded with full preoperative preparation. I completed blood work, received IV fluids and antibiotics, was transported to the operating room, shaved, marked at the surgical site, and sedated. At that point, I was fully unconscious and unable to provide consent or make decisions. While I was under sedation, Dr. Lemus left the hospital without notification or justification. Dr Farrukh self admitting in a frustrated condition spoke to Me about this in passing. When contacted, he refused to return, leaving the required surgical team incomplete. As a result, the surgery was not performed. Upon awakening, I was given inconsistent and limited information. My subsequent requests for clarification and for copies of my medical records were met with resistance, prompting concerns about transparency and potential record concealment. I documented my interactions with staff to preserve evidence. On October 3, 2025, Dr. Farrukh called to confirm the following: Dr. Lemus left the hospital without notification or justification. Dr. Balfour performed surgery on my hand in November 2015. He took the time to try to see if any…read moreother options were going to work before going the surgery route which to me was important. He is always very polite and friendly easing any fears that I had. I tend to get nervous with shots of any type but he took the time to do the injection and to talk me through it. I hardly felt it which is remarkable as it was in a very sensitive spot on my hand. My surgery went very well and I am able to use my fingers again which was a concern for me. It is remarkable that you can barely see the surgery incision now. Actually, no one besides myself can tell as it is only a tiny dot now. The office staff have always been very friendly and helpful. A couple years ago he also performed surgery on my son, and had a similar experience. Not that I am wanting another hand surgery, but if I had to have one Dr. Balfour would be who I would go to.
