I have been going to AVORS for 29 years. I've seen and also had surgery from mire than one doctor. I have mainly seen Dr. Nasser. I've always been pleased. He cares and I'm going to have back surgery, not the injections I've received many times. I would not feel comfortable with anyone, except Drm Thomas Nasser. The doctors are a very knowledgeable. I have known Nasser since I began treatment. He has many years of experience. If you need many types of pain relief, all of the doctors are very knowledgeable. The office staff works well with them. I've had a few issues of my medicine not being sent or partial was sent, but it was immediately resolved by the supervisor who works in medications. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Dr Owashi is very thorough and explains things very well! My mom's hip fracture was very complicated and he explained it very clearly to her ( and me) along with the treatment. The wait can sometimes be a little long but it's not too bad. read more

The staff in suite 101 works hard but the doctors spend the day moving from room to room and give no more than 5 minutes of dialogue. This on top of making you wait two hours to be seen. I've been to this office 4 times. Reluctantly the last two. And each time it's the same thing. It's extremely rude and frustrating to have to drive almost an hour here and wait an obscene amount of time for literally nothing. Care on behalf of the doctors is the absolute worst unless you tell them you're leaving a bad review. One star only because zero stars is not an option. read more

I agree with another reviewer. 2 hours is too long to wait for you to be seen, and that's With an Appointment!! It was my first time coming here. I waited 2.5 hours to be called into the room. Spent all of 15 minutes with the Dr. He was nice and listened, but I could tell he was in a hurry to go home. I didn't receive the RX he agreed to give me. Had to call in, with the staff not knowing anything about it. I was also supposed to receive a few other things for my treatment plan, but I never received them. Front desk staff and nurses were all very kind. I don't think I'll be back. My Dr was also disappointed with my experience there, since he was the one that referred me there. I question all these five star first time reviewers. Also, Yelp has two listings for this same business. Look up both. read more

This place is great. Super busy and can be a long wait, but welcome to health care. Lol. Staff is great and they have the new check in station which I love. I wrote review before having surgery because they kind of harass you for review and they were very accommodating before surgery. Well I kind call my surgery a botched job. I tried giving enough time for my foot to heal before running back crying and after almost 2 months I called to make appointment and person making appointments said sorry you waited too long you have to go back to your primary doctor. My primary doctor never even looked at my feet when I asked for referral to podiatrist so what was he going to do about the pain I was in. Well I'm left with one foot aching from surgery and the other aching from hammer toes. Scared to bother with anyone now. read more

I feel very lucky that Dr. Nasser had the vision to put together an excellent group of surgeons, and as a support after surgery, the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) at Palmdale Regional Medical Center (PRMC). I initially met Dr. Nasser at PRMC in more than 5 years ago when Dr. Nasser invited me to take advantage of the ARU facility following shoulder surgery. I am grateful that Dr. Nasser approached me and understands my challenges. Dr. Heller is an excellent hand surgeon at AVORS. He has an incredible background and has operated on both of my hands, enabling me to regain full use of my hands. The treatment and care I receive by Dr. Tony Smith and his staff are always exceptional! I'm a Flight Attendant and am always on the go, but they always have availability whenever it's most convenient for me to come in, so that I am able to get the care that I need due to my very labor intensive job! Two hip replacements and a knee replacement. The doctors are very caring and top notch.

Avoid Dr. Hopkins at all costs. I had the worst experience with him. I went in for a follow up after my surgery and he was the upmost disrespectful. After he rushed looking over how my foot was doing after my surgery, I told him my concerns. As soon as I told him, his whole demeanor changed and was completely rude and did not let me speak whatsoever afterwards. He even slammed the doors on his way out every time. The second time he came back, he lunged at me twice and came closer and even raised his voice at me! I spoke with staff and they will be handling him. However, he rushes, doesn't explain how the procedure will be, stares at you like you're dumb, did not receive medicine over a day later, and was very disrespected by him. Will not be coming back. However, I'm thankful the rest of the staff was attentive and helpful. read more

I've had most of my Ortho surgeries done by AVORS medical group. Dr. Antebi is in my opinion the best Ortho Dr. I've ever been to. He not only does a less invasive surgery, he cares. After my TKR he encouraged me to start rehabbing asap. Sure in the beginning the pain was awful, but once I worked through that, I was on my way. I even referred my sister to him she agrees with me. She also had a Total Knee Replacement. He did the Carpel Tunnel on both my hands and my left shoulder which I thought was never going to the same again. Dr Heller the hand specialist, omg, I came, he saw and he conquered my hand problems. He is the right Doc for my right hand. What a great job Dr Heller. I would definitely refer AVORS medical group to anyone. Oh I can't forget the staff, you guys are pleasant, helpful and kind that makes it awesome when we are waiting to be seen.
