My healing journey with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Hashimotos Thyroditis has included the wonderful office of Dr. Heffelfinger. I came to the office with symptoms of fatigue, joint pain and stiffness, sensitivity to cold, trouble sleeping, dry skin, constipation, hair loss, muscle weakness, muscle aches, problems with memory and concentration, and food sensitivities. He offered natural solutions and a holistic approach. He guided me with appropriate supplementation, dietary recommendations, life style changes and chiropractic care. Dr Hefilfinger is really nice, but he was giving my wife medicine for her liver toxins, which of course did nothing for her horrible back pain. We than went to another Chiropractor in Encino, who did x xays, and a computer program that mapped our spines. Before adjusting, he used beating pads, than performed the best adjustments we ever had. Her back, and my neck are Much better now. I'm not going to a Chiropractor for a cleansing, use of a tenz unit, (Physical Therapists use them), or a magic wand. I want to eventually be adjusted. Tenz units don't work for our kind of pain. I guess he's doing others good, and as I said, he is genuinely a nice, and caring Doctor, but his style of care didn't help us. It is difficult to put into words how amazing Dr. Steve is. I've been to many chiropractors, but none come close to providing the full body, whole health experience Dr. Steve provides his patients. He is extremely personable, but more importantly he cares about you. Dr. Steve likes a challenge and over the years I've brought them to him. I never hesitate to tell him anything I might be suffering, not just bones and muscles, but all pains, ailments, etc. He has amazed me over and over again as he has helped restore me to health.
