Wow, wow, wow!!!! Liana's really takes the cake! (of course, pun intended). Today, we celebrated my Uncle's 60th with a wonderful cake created by Liana. She is uniquely creative and bakes a wonderful tasting cake....at first you worry the cake may look pretty but how does it taste? Well, she hit the mark on both...i requested a white cake with strawberries which was moist and not too sweet accompanied with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The fondant is something most people don't eat but it was thinly layered and obviously not bad...as i didn't see any left on the plate. If you want an ordinary cake, go to Costco...Liana definitely brought the WOW factor to the party. She is easy to work with which is all done via email to ensure everything is clear. I came up with a concept and she was able to incorporate that into cake which was so detailed. So whatever your creative mind can think of, I'm positive Liana's can do it! Thanks so much for making my uncle's bday special! read more

I will be getting married later this year, and wanted to do a cake tasting of Liana's cakes. A Small "6" inch cake was $20 which was really worth it, and this is how Liana does cake tastings for weddings. I choose Chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. The cake was very fresh and super delicious. It was also moist, and the filling was so good with the chocolate. My Fiancé also loved it, and it wasn't too sweet it was just perfect. I could have ate the whole cake but I decided to share with my Fiancé family , which my future mother in law really loved it also. Liana does an amazing job!! I absolutely would refer her to anyone looking for a delicious and beautiful cake inside and out =) read more

While searching for someone to do my daughters cake for her 2 year Elmo birthday party my husband mentioned that his friends mom does cakes. I was a bit skeptical since I am a perfectionist when it comes to my daughters parties. When it comes to cake I obviously want my cake to look PRETTY but I also want the texture to be MOIST & DELICIOUS. It is hard to find that when you are looking for a well decorated fondant cake since the fondant can taste gross at times. Liana nailed all of my requests! The cake was delivered on time, so much detail on the cake and the taste was delicious. read more

Liana is the absolute best! As an event planner I'm always looking for vendors that are a delight to work with and are great at their craft. Liana is all of these and more. When I told her that the wedding that had been planned for over year was now not going to take place, she turned on a dime. Liana made a wedding cake into a festive cake so that the bridal party could still have a celebration in spite of the wedding that did not happen. Everyone loved all of the flavors the Red Velvet the Marble and the Lemon were all scrumptious! read more

We started having Liana make all of cakes after having tasted a slice that a friend gave me. I never liked the taste of fondant so I was kind of worried that I would offend my friend when she went through the trouble of saving me a slice. I was pleasantly surprised that the fondant and the cake was so delicious! Liana has made our birthday, graduation, office and just because cakes! Just because cakes because we want her cake! Her naked cakes are so awesome! And cookies are large and yummy! Banana bread, zucchini bread? Awesome too! The best part for me is that I can give her a theme and I know that it will be beautiful! I trust her creativity, I've not ever been disappointed with anything that Liana has ever made for us! You won't be disappointed with anything you ask for! You can tell she puts love and time it her creations! read more

Tried calling. I just said hello and she said take me off your call list. I guess business is not needed

After reading all the great reviews of this place, I thought I would give them a try. I called to try and place an order. No one picked up so I left a message thinking someone would call me back. It's been about 24hours and I still have not heard anything. Too bad, lost a new customer. read more

Catahoula cafe has some of their cakes. Otherwise you have to get in touch with them to order, and I was able to find their number online, but haven't ordered anything yet. Some of the most creative cakes I have ever seen. And delicious too! Give her a chance. You won't be disappointed.

I had Liana's Banana Bread, it was soo good i cant wait to purchase many more cakes and pastries from her in the future!

I was soooo excited about my daughter's cake especially when I saw how beautiful it was but was disappointed when we cut it. It was not only dry but crumbly and no one wanted to eat it because of the consistency and taste of it. To make matters worse, I contacted Liana Yanamura to let her know my feedback on the cake and was accused of being dissatisfied with the cake because "I had too much cake and wanted my money back". Who provides that type of customer service. She asked me to bring her the cake so she could not only taste it (because she DID NOT BELIEVE ME) BUT return my money because she had never had anyone complain about her cakes (which I find hard to believe). Never once did I ask for my money back but I definitely felt she should know my honest opinion of the $250 cake I purchased. To make matters worse, when I drove to her home to bring her the cake she changed her mind on giving me my money back but instead she attempted to hand me $105. Anyone who knows me, knows one of my problems aren't monetary so the audacity of someone who is providing a service to be so disrespectful. Ok, that's it, let me return to my blessed Sunday. God Bless read more
