I ordered Baby Yoda design with Red Velvet filling. The cake was so good, not too sweet at all (I'm a Vietnamese and from my Asian standard, it's the perfect amount of sweetness). This is for my team and they're in awe when seeing and tasting the cake. It's beautiful and can clearly see the baker put extra care and effort into it. The purchase experience was also very smooth and straightforward. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

We ordered an Oreo cake for my son's 9th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! Khatera did an amazing job with the Minecraft design--it was beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. My son was so excited when he saw it! The flavor was incredible, especially for Oreo lovers. The cake was fresh, moist, and delicious, and so many of our guests complimented it. On top of that, Khatera provided excellent service and made the whole process easy and stress-free. The price was also very reasonable for such high quality work. She is definitely not worth the money she charges. I gave her my idea for my son's grad party cake and paid her like more than a month ago. She hasn't asked me a single clarification question until the morning of the party. She doesn't hand make the logos or any symbols we ask her. She just prints it off of the internet and too bad and good luck to you if she can't find it on the internet the sizes. She has the audacity to say that is all she could find online. I didn't pay a bomb for her to print these off of internet, she charges for a custom cake. Even on that morning, she didn't communicate clearly, I wasn't sure if she was asking one thing or the other. She messed up our cake, tried to fix it after I expressed my disappointment that afternoon but took out our happiness on that day! No prior prep is what is most disappointing to us! There are many more sincere and hardworking bakers out there, just find them. On a separate note, the cakes tasted good but not the look which was equally important to us. read more

Ordered a pineapple cake for a party of 14. Everyone loved it and thought it had the perfect amount of sweetness. The cake is denser than most, which is the way I like it. The decoration was very nicely done. Service was great over the phone, helping me design the cake and pick up was quick. All in all, a very good experience. Love love love Samar Pastry! There aren't enough good things I could say about them. From ordering, to production, to pick up, everything was as smooth as butter. We ordered a Saffron Cake, vanilla Roulette slices, salty cookies, queen of almond cookies, Austrian cookies dipped in chocolate and Austrian cookies with pistachio on top. Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone could not stop raving about it. Everything was beautifully packed and ready to go. Prices are very fair and reasonable. The owner is super sweet, responsive, and accommodating. I will 100% be ordering again. I highly highly recommend giving this place a chance if you haven't already. I never made such an impulsive purchase, but I immediately asked for the contract and sent her the deposit that afternoon. One thing I liked about Jackie was the fact that I was able to text her anytime and any day if I had a question or needed something. Not only was she responsive, she would ask around if she didn't have the answer. The month before our big day, we had our meeting to go over details and timeline. She made sure to reach out to every single one of our vendors so everyone was on the same page. The week of the wedding was hectic for us, but she was made sure her timeline matched our photographer and everything was in place. I also had chargers that I wanted for every guest, and she made that happen! On our big day, she arrived to the venue at 2:30pm, so she could make sure all the vendors were there. When we arrived around 4pm, she made sure the bridal party knew what to do for the ceremony since we didn't have rehearsal the day before. She checked in with us throughout the night and gave us a heads up before the next agenda. She orchestrated the entire night so effortlessly that I felt at ease. If I could give Jackie more than 5 stars, I would! She was the best impromptu decision I've made throughout our entire wedding process. The Bundtlet is also good-sized and it usually takes me a day or so to finish it. There is ample parking right outside, since this location is at the Fremont Hub. The staff are friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions you might have. The store is warm and welcoming. The aroma of their Bundt Cakes permeates the air.

I ordered from SamarPastry multiple times and every time has been so good. We have tried the vanilla strawberry, pistachio, and pineapple cakes, and they are all amazing. She has the best crème rolls and mini roll cakes. The owner is super nice and easy to work with and she is very talented with her designing abilities. The item that caught my attention were her cute hot chocolate bombs so I asked to pick some up from her on Thursday, November 19th, in time for my nieces to spend the weekend with us. I got the "unicorn" for my daughter since she really likes unicorn. Sadly, my daughter prefers milk chocolate over white chocolate so I ended up having to help her finish it. I got the "Tea Me Up" for myself since I do enjoy a nice cup of chai latte & it was perfect for the cold weather. Although, I must warn you that it is a little bit spicy. I got the "Chocolala" for my 11-year old niece because she likes all her food/drink to be as plain and simple as possible and this fit her taste perfectly. I got the "Guess Who's Salty" for my 15-year old niece because she loves salted caramel flavor desserts. Sadly, I received a text from her dad that she ended up in the ER for juvenile diabetes type 1--so, she never got to try it & I decided to give it to my 11-year old niece instead.
