Love Lexies! For a quality burger you can't beat the price. I love the Green Lantern burger, their chimichurri is so flavorful. You really can't go wrong with any of their burger combos. We also tried the fish tacos which were pretty tasty as well! Food was ready in ~10 min and the staff is always friendly. There are places to sit and eat but I always pick up and take it to go. Would be a great spot to enjoy a casual bite!

Great place for a quick informal bite in downtown Dover. We went around 6 pm on a Friday and the service was fast- food was great as well.

Great staff and atmosphere at Lexie's. We enjoyed the variety of burger options including the beef and black bean patty. It is great they offer each burger as beef, black bean or chicken. The styles were very unique and exciting. Our waitress was very friendly. Great value for the money as well!

Burger Special - Rapscallion, Hot Fried

One of my favorite place to get burger in the area. The selection of burger is great, the quality is always good, burgers are very tasty and not super expensive. They never disappoints and I keep coming back. They offer online ordering which is super convenient and easy. My usual is the Urban Cowboy which is heavenly but today I went for the special burger. Rapscallion - Burger with muenster cheese, bacon, roasted mushrooms, crispy onions, scallion aioli. And it was also very good. The patty is cooked to perfection with a little pink inside. The bacon adds a nice texture and saltiness. The mushrooms a rich flavor and the crispy onion gives it a little crunch. The Scallion aioli was spot on, very tasty and ties the burger together. Another of my favorite is the Hot Fries, housecut fries topped with sriracha ketchup, sriracha aioli, jalapenos & scallions. This is my to go as it adds to the fried and a perfect compliment to the burger. My drink of choice is the Cucumber Mint Lemonade. It's super refreshing and the perfect combination with the burger and fries.

Friendly service and excellent burger. Loved the hush (a burger sauce) as they call it on the menu. Lots of interesting combination of flavors in the fries, sauces, and burgers. Sitting by the window was a little hot, but it was July and not surprising. Easy parking in front of the store or across the street. Also, an option to eat outside although no one seemed to do so while we were there.

Takeout fries burnt to a crisp, again

I love Lexie's in general, I loved the Portsmouth location, loved the Durham and when. I eat in I love the Dover location. But all 3 times I've ordered takeout the fries have been burnt. My most recent takeout experience was 2 burgers and 3 orders of truffle fries. All 3 orders of fries were burnt to the point where they were inedible. You could literally snap each of them like a stick. Everytime we eat in we get excellent fries. All 3 times I've ordered takeout the fries have been burnt. I messaged the store about the issue and they left me on read. I'll probably give them another chance but I'll be checking my fries before I leave and suggest anyone else does as well.

Called at 7:30 and didn't answer phone. Website online is half finished and doesn't let you order as a guest. Will not be trying again.

Upon entering Hop + Grind I was reminded of my old ways. The food is nothing short of ooze-worthy, with creamy levels of goodness, moist, juicy burgers, and sloppy fries. But the innuendos need to stop. I don't need to think of lustful acts while slopping down a greasy bite. I mean, cmon, Hoggy Style? You people make me sick. Overall, a good place with a good vibe. Would come here again.

Burger: I went with the Beast Mode, which comes with two patties, cheese, double bacon, "Hop sauce," crispy onions, pickles, and maybe more. Can't really specify temp, so the patties a bit dry, but well-seasoned and really good beef flavor. I liked the creamy, zingy sauce. But that bacon! Flavorwise, among the best bacon I've ever had. Texturewise, I really liked the thickness and pliability, but this came at the expense of some crispness. I'll take that trade but same may not. I also really liked the bun, which is a seeded briochy model that's less dense than what I've had previously at Tuckaway. Overall, very good burger. Gimme some juiciness and it's a great burger. Fries: They come standard with the burgers and chicken. A small order, but enough to get by and nicely done. Many fries options with various add-ons. You can also get onion strings, even though they're not on the menu. Shake: I went with chocolate. Not as fudgy as some I've had, but tasted very natural, with the milk flavor coming through, no shortage of chocolate, and a consistently that's thick but very drinkable. Good accompaniment to the burger. Chicken Tenders: I split a trio that came with fries and choice of sauce. These were huge and flattened, kinda like a chicken parm. Very crisp, well-seasoned, and juicy in spots, not-so-juicy in other spots. Good flavor on its own and in tandem with our hot honey (generous cup), dry rub (ditto), and both. Friendly staff throughout. Looking forward to coming back.

On a President's Day Monday at 1pm, the establishment seemed at just under half occupancy. I thought I needed to wait for seating, but staff said I could pick any table and they'd head over shortly. My friend and I ordered the sausage roll ($12) and scotch egg ($13) appetizers to share, and I ordered the bangers and mash ($19) entree for myself. The sausage roll, cut up into 6 slightly larger than bite-sized pieces, consisted of flaky and buttery pastry with herbal, earthy, and slightly crumbly sausage out of its casing. Imaging homemade breakfast sausage, but less sweet and more sharp. The accompanying brown mustard provided a nice contrast, yet remained relatively mellow. It also came with a bit of field greens so I could pretend to be healthy. The scotch egg arrived as a textbook example of a softboiled egg with a yammy yolk. The outer sausage shell tasted similar to that of the sausage roll. The accompanying chili jam cut down on the savoriness just a touch; it melded tart, spiciness, and sweetness yet also remained mellow, not overpowering the egg. My entree, the bangers and mash, proved exceptional. The peas were some of the brightest, most vibrant, juicy and crisp peas I'd ever had. Each one had just a slight burst at the bite. The caramelized onions adorning the mash had been browned down a long time, like what you'd expect in French onion soup. The mash itself, made from red potatoes, tasted robust and rich without being overly dense or overly reliant on butter (not shaming butter, but these potatoes deserve to shine, not drowned out). The bangers themselves possessed crisp, taunt casings with juicy interiors. I would almost describe it as "fresh" in the same way I would describe high-quality vegetables. Weird, but I don't know how else to express this sentiment. Service was a bit slow, probably from the Monday holiday. Since it was technically a weekday, I was able to order $4.5 bud lite drafts from the happy hour menu (Mon-Fri 1-230pm). Overall, I walked away quite impressed from what was me randomly picking a place to get lunch after being at White Birch Armories at opening to beat the range wait.
