WOW! This dude is HARDCORE. He will bully and attempt to intimidate the opposition treating them as though they are the #1 suspect in a murder investigation and he needs the win No Matter What!!! If you are looking for a BULLY, this is definitely your guy!! Oh, by the way, he didn't intimidate me! I never gave in to their demands because I did nothing illegal and guess what? I never heard from them again!!! read more

If you want an incompetent representative that is unorganized and blows you off he is your guy. He strung my brother and I along for a year promising to help but did absolutely nothing. I definitely would not recommend him. read more

I really don't know where to start but if you want someone incompetent , not understanding just looking for his next pay out, oh and by the way any phone conversations, any appointments you will pay a lot for hire this guy. His secretary does more work than he does and he gets all the pay out. If you know what's best pass this lawyer on up save yourself the aggravation , get someone that asks questions like who are the beneficiaries , who are the grandkids that are to be paid out. This guy won't ever ask , nope even after there has been a property sold, and he is holding onto your money, do you think he asks for wiring account number . Nope , sorry once again, all he does has his secretary right a letter of acceptance with no other information like how they pay out or what to do next , nope that's when you have to call there office to talk to him. oooooh ohhhh keep in mind you get charged to talk to him..... be very careful...... i usually don't get into a battle of wits, but this lawyer is not to be trusted I will be happy to show proof as soon as i have it i will post photos read more

DO NOT USE THIS GUY!! This guy is really DUMB and horrible with numbers, accounting terminology, spreadsheets, investment banking structures, etc. Basically the things you would expect a Trust lawyer to understand. But he doesn't. And my husband and I PAID OUT THE NOSE for his incompetency and ignorance. Since he needed things repeated to him, over and over (on one call I had to explain the same thing 5 times over, he still didn't get it). If you hire this guy YOU WILL PAY 3x what one might pay another lawyer who actually knew what they were doing in this area. (oh and he also gets Perry Masoned pretty easily, that's how stupid he is) My husband and I hired him to do a complicated trust issue where my husband was the trustee. It was a last minute hire, with a court appearance shortly thereafter. John Lewman told my husband that he would have a chance to talk in court. But then John was "surprised" by something the other lawyer said, (that wasn't true, and my husband was waiting for his promised turn to explain to the judge) and he completely dropped the ball, and my husband didn't get to talk at all, and a temp judgement was made (NOT in our favor) because of false information and our stupid lawyer not allowing for the rebuttal as promised! It went down hill from there and we let him go shortly thereafter. From the get go this man treated my husband and I very badly. Initially, my husband and I (both heavily tattooed people) felt it from Mr Lewman and we couldn't put our fingers on. John Lewman is a former prosecutor. I am fairly certain he sized us up like we were guilty felons because of our tattoos and then acted accordingly with our case and the way he talked to us. I had a phone call with him with just myself, after he supposedly reviewed all our paperwork, and he wasn't able to explain back to me what he had spent all that time billing us for. The aggressive mansplaining was just over the top too. Especially from someone with such low critical thinking skills. I would say he also has an extreme listening problem. He is NOT an active listener and couldn't even repeat back to me something I explained to him 5 friggin times. I kid you not. We fired him right after that phone call when I became certain that he was an idiot and just KNEW he was going to charge us up that wazooo AND be too stupid to proceed with our case. He charged us over $5,000 for one court appearance in which he absolutely sucked, three phone calls with us (about 4 hours total time) and then all the time to "review" our case. I know lots of lawyers and I know how billable hours work. John Lewman made up billing hours IMHO We went with another firm. The new lawyer met with us one time for about 3 hours and took great notes and then was able to explain back to us, accurately and precisely in his own words what our case was about and what we wanted out of the case and why we needed a lawyer and then clearly state back to us what the next steps would be. If these are things you look for in a lawyer, then look elsewhere. read more

The team at Lewman Law worked wonders with the courts, and saw to a peaceful outcome in our case. If you need someone to make sense of your trust or probate in general, call John today. I called to discuss a very simple topic. I wanted them to review something and before even talking to me, the admin assistant gets on the phone and says that will be $750 just to meet. The lawyer didn't even get on the phone. wow...so much for just checking if you even do this type of work. In all my life working with trust lawyer, I've never hear of one who won't get on the phone to meet a potential client. It's just "give me money" even if I don't take the case ?Wait? What? That's a first in my 15 years. read more

John was very helpful when I reached out seeking legal advice regarding a security deposit. I knew our situation was pretty basic in comparison to what he usually deals with and was hoping he'd offer some quick advice via email - he did!! I fully expected to get a generic, "I'd be happy to represent you in your dispute and offer consultations for $900." But he kindly sent a response offering advice. In fact, he provided a more thorough response than I had expected. If we have any future issues with our landlord, I won't hesitate to reach out to John! read more

Hired John to assist w/ a case & lost based on his answer. I was referred from (EAP), which is a service my job offers! At times i felt he was too busy to deal w/ the case resulting in alot of confusion about what's going on. The other attorney informed me Mr Lewman wasn't making attempts to reach him either. He's answered the phone on accident & said "im busy on the other line, gotta go". I can say his receptionist Sue is nice and helpful, but that's it. I feel robbed of my money & mislead. I trusted him to help , and to find out he didnt put forth the effort. After losing, he suggested i appeal but said he doesnt have experience in the field. Was unsure of what document # i needed or how to even obtain a form. Didn't have any other recommendations for me , which left me lost and confused again. He continued to request money but did no extra work read more

I can't say enough good things about Lewman Law. They are very professional and patient with all the questions I had (and I had quite a bit!). They didn't make me feel like I was just another client because they took the time to listened to all my venting and concerns. Mr. Lewman is a straight shooter. Ask him his opinion and he'll tell you straight up if it's not the right course. He will let you know your options and let YOU decide what course of action to take. My whole experience with Lewman Law was great because they were kind and understanding of my situation. I highly recommend them! Not only is losing a family member hard enough. Then you have to deal with the aftermath of everything that follows. I was scared, overwhelmed and extremely unprepared to handle my beloved aunts estate. I knew this was going to be a messy process; I'm beyond grateful to have come in contact with Lewman Law. John Lewman and his assistant Sue Randi (she's a godsend) went above and beyond with guiding me through the necessary steps for being an executor of my aunts estate. I have a special needs sibling that required extra steps for setting up a supplemental trust, that Lewman law assisted with. I never had a question go unanswered by this team. All in all, they helped make an already difficult situation into a feeling of ease and comfort, knowing I was in good hands. I'll forever appreciate these kind folks for helping me out during my lowest moment. read more

I needed an Attorney that specializes in probate matters and my sister advised me to look for reputable lawyer through Better Business Bureau. Since the need was so urgent the first few law offices that I called cannot take me right away because of scheduling. The last law firm I called was the Office of Atty. Frederick Lewman. I spoke to her Legal Asst. Sue Randi who was kind enough squeeze in Atty. Lewman's hectic schedule and book me that same morning for consultation. I live 15 minutes away from their office so I was able to rush right away since Mr. Lewman has an hour to spare before he takes his first appointment. I explained the situation and showed him the demand letter from the opposing counsel. Knowing that it was time sensitive he agreed to represent me after explaining the process and the fees. This is the first time I have to deal with a lawyer so I was concern that I'd be charged exorbitant retainer fees. Atty. Lewman was different, his retainers fee is reasonable and his assistant Sue was always updating me of the status of my case. Fast forward, Atty. Lewman was able to resolve my probate issues in my favor in a fast and efficient way. I feel I was a valued client and handled my case with due diligence and professionalism. I highly recommend him to everyone who are in need of a lawyer specializing in Probate, Litigation and Estate planning. He is simply the best. His Assistant Sue Randi is likewise very professional. I am so glad I've found them. They're the dream team!! read more

John and his staff are amazing! we needed to restate our trust and take care of a few other needed documents. They made all of the necessary changes, created the needed new documents, made SURE we had complete and total understanding of what they were intended for and how they should be handled. Reviewed all of our current statements and wow...we had some that were so old that we had totally forgotten about what we had stated originally. I am so pleased with my dealings with John Lewman. What prompted me to do this review, is that he consistently exceeds my expectations on his responsiveness. I have such trust in him because of this, and also the comprehensive way he answers my questions. He is patient and I'm never left feeling "rushed off" like with some other lawyers. The legal documentation he produces also exceeds my expectations. He's on top of it, and knows what he's doing. I'm extremely happy to have him as a resource, and I encourage others to seek out his services. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, John, for everything. read more
