Very disappointed on the lack of prompt follow up on return phone calls and lack of communication. Got no where so went elsewhere after a week of inconsistent response. I needed results and it wasn't gonna happen here based on how I was treated. Very surprised and disappointed. After spending several months trying to muddle through what I thought would be a simple uncontested divorce (no property, no kids, relatively amicable), driving several times to the Hayward Court House and receiving two rejection letters from the Family Law Department I finally broke down and looked for some help on-line. Enter Julie/Cornerstone. The most important thing I can say is... I wish I had gone to her at the beginning and saved myself 5 months of frustration! Julie is extremely knowledgeable and was very sympathetic to my irritated ranting about the complicated process. 10/13/2013 Well, today we finally got to meet Julie, needless to say my opinion has changed for the better. I oftentimes feel that the importance of building a strong personal relationship in relation to any customer service associated job is crucial. With Julie, we felt very comfortable, it was not just a "business transaction" per say. She was extremely mindful of our concerns and as you may notice she clearly states she is not a lawyer however she is very knowledgeable on a vast array of subjects.Although she cannot give you legal advice, hearing the opinion of a professional is very soothing especially in situations involving the financial sanity of a family. Anyways, her work is detailed and professional, she always listens to all concerns and makes sure you understand everything. When helping you fill out documents she is organized and professional. Some people (have done this) handwrite things. Well Julie actually caught us by surprise as she fills things out using her computer. Please note that she printed her own copy of the documents and take into consideration the cost of internet, ink, paper not to mention she travels to a location that is helpful to both herself and us as her clients.
