After searching for estate planning attorneys for quite a while, I found Nerisha on Yelp...and I'm so glad I did. I was helping my parents find an attorney they'd feel comfortable with, and she was exactly that. Nerisha was incredibly responsive and always made time for our questions. Her warm, understanding approach put my parents at ease, and her knowledge and approachability made a difficult process feel manageable. After years of trying to help my parents get their affairs in order, it's such a relief to finally have it done...and done in a reasonable amount of time, with a process that felt smooth every step of the way. Don't look any further. I'd recommend Nerisha to friends and family in a heartbeat. read more

I'm so glad I found Nerisha on Yelp because she's the only one that I felt was perfect do my living trust with. Including all the 5 star reviews as proof. I had a video consultation with her where she told me the process and procedures for a living trust for a single individual. She answered all my questions and made it easy to understand. Stress and confusion drastically faded as we moved closer to the finish line. It took almost 3 months to complete, but that's a real good timeframe. Especially when I'm busy with my kids, I had to find the right time to schedule our meetings. I had one consultation via zoom, two zoom meetings, then in person signing. I really like how Nerisha made the process very simple and educated me on everything that was included in the living trust package. The price was fair, if you need to get a living trust done-- do it now! Don't wait like I did because it'll only get more expensive. She's a very sweet and knowledgeable woman. I love how professional she is while being a friendly face with empathy. I will definitely recommend her to all my friends! I can't wait to receive everything in the mail and officially be done adulting! read more

After her recent careful evaluation of our 5-year old Trust Documents done by another firm, Nerisha Soodeehul recommended to reinstate our Trust documents for simplification and thoroughly updated necessary changes and details that were sadly lacking in our old documents. Wow - we were so grateful and impressed by how patiently she reviewed our draft documents via two Zoom meetings and explained or summarized comprehensively to make sure we understood the contents in each section. Also, she diligently and timely answered our questions while listening carefully to learn what you would want in your Trust. In contrast, our previous attorney did not review any parts of our old Trust documents which we still don't really understand. Nerisha is the only Estate Planner you can trust and need for life! She is friendly and warm, a legal professional who is highly knowledgeable and organized, treats you like a family member and has your best interests at heart, advises and explains clearly essential reasons for retitling assets under the Trust, alerts you to actions that could save you future legal costs or issues. We highly recommend you consult Nerisha for any Trust or Estate Planning concerns - you will be so grateful and have a peace of mind that she will take care of your most important matters so professionally and perfectly! Nerisha will definitely be our choice for our future trust administration. We felt very lucky and enjoyed very much working with her. Thank you so much, Nerisha for establishing our new Trust documents, taking your time to answer and explain legalese, offering advice, and making the steps from our initial consult to Trust creation so smooth and pleasant!! Ten plus stars for Nerisha! :o) read more

My wife and I recently completed our estate plan with Nerisha and the experience exceeded every expectation. As a working couple with two young daughters, we had been putting this off for years -- partly out of complexity and partly not knowing where to start. Nerisha made the entire process feel manageable, thoughtful, and thorough. She prepared a comprehensive estate plan including a revocable living trust, wills, durable powers of attorney, and advance health care directives for both of us. What stood out was how carefully she tailored everything to our specific situation -- we have assets across multiple financial institutions, employer stock plans, retirement accounts, and a home with a mortgage, and she addressed every piece with clear, practical guidance. Nerisha didn't just hand us documents -- she provided a detailed cover letter explaining exactly what each document does, how to fund the trust, what beneficiary designations to update, and the precise wording to use at each financial institution. Months later, when we were actually executing on all those steps, that guidance proved invaluable. When we ran into a specific technical limitation on a beneficiary field at one of our brokerages, she responded the same day with exactly the right wording -- no back and forth, no ambiguity. Her notary work was flawless, documents were delivered with scanned digital copies, and her office was responsive every single time we reached out. The peace of mind we now have -- knowing our family is protected no matter what happens -- is something we cannot put a price on. If you are a family with complex finances or simply someone who has been putting off estate planning, I cannot recommend Nerisha highly enough. She is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. -- Ninad K., San Ramon, CA read more

After taking a stab at updating our wills, health care directives and financial power of attorney documents, I realized that the simple free forms available online would not cut it. The ones I tried did not allow me to specify what we needed. So I contacted Soodeehul Law based on reviews here. She was totally upfront about her fees and what she would provide. For example, our 2005 documents had specified a pet trust which she did not do but she was totally open that we might choose to use someone else. It turned out that we could satisfy what we wanted without a formal trust so that issue was excellently resolved. We shared with her our old 2005 documents and worked with her for about three months before we finished the documents and signed them. The old ones had successors that did not work any longer. She recommended Professional Fiduciaries which was new to us. We researched and ultimately wound up using one. When we worked on the documents, she accepted suggestions from us where possible and explained when an idea of ours would not work. As with any really complex set of documents with a goodly number of changes, it's helpful to keep a personal log just in case an item gets missed. That happened but did not change our five star review. I give her an A++ "grade". For value, we got our money's worth and are very happy with the results. read more
