After taking a stab at updating our wills, health care directives and financial power of attorney documents, I realized that the simple free forms available online would not cut it. The ones I tried did not allow me to specify what we needed. So I contacted Soodeehul Law based on reviews here. She was totally upfront about her fees and what she would provide. For example, our 2005 documents had specified a pet trust which she did not do but she was totally open that we might choose to use someone else. It turned out that we could satisfy what we wanted without a formal trust so that issue was excellently resolved. We shared with her our old 2005 documents and worked with her for about three months before we finished the documents and signed them. The old ones had successors that did not work any longer. She recommended Professional Fiduciaries which was new to us. We researched and ultimately wound up using one. When we worked on the documents, she accepted suggestions from us where possible and explained when an idea of ours would not work. As with any really complex set of documents with a goodly number of changes, it's helpful to keep a personal log just in case an item gets missed. That happened but did not change our five star review. I give her an A++ "grade". For value, we got our money's worth and are very happy with the results. read more
