Our trust & estate lawyer retired and we had been looking for another T&E attorney. Luckily, one of…read moreour friends directed us to Connie. We reached out to Connie (I think we called her or submitted a request via her website ) and she responded promptly (she is busy so the initial Zoom meeting may take a couple of weeks). In any event, in all our interactions, Connie was responsive, practical, knowledgeable, efficient and just a lovely person (funny too). I should mention that my spouse and I had a short time frame to revise our revocable family trust (along with wills, advanced directives, and power of attorney) and Connie understood and met our time constraints. One night she sent a draft of the revised trust at 1:30 in the morning. If we reached out to her at 9 in the morning, she'd respond promptly as well (within a couple of hours if that). Connie also understood our questions/concerns and provided clear and concise responses (whether via Zoom or by email). We really appreciated Connie's thoughtfulness, diligence, and assistance. I have recommended Connie to our friends. Btw, Connie's fee structure is very reasonable for the services provided. She is also forthright and, if you ask her, she will just tell you, this is what my services will cost. I do feel the need to rebut the one bad review (JW's review). What a strange review. Why would you want an attorney to provide services in an area in which they lack expertise? To me, JW's review is evidence of Connie's honesty and, quite frankly, JW should be thanking Connie for being ethical (vs some charlatan that responds with pay me and I'll give you advice in an area I know nothing about). As an attorney, the law is complex. You do not want someone to give you advice in area in which they lack expertise (sort of like, you would not want an ophthalmologist to conduct your heart surgery--just saying). Anyhow, an example of Connie's expertise: I go, hey Connie, why did you include this language, seems to limit protection against a wayward trustee who, in theory, could steal the assets of the trust (she gave a precise and clear answer). I do actively dislike critical reviews that are baseless. My personal experience with Connie was excellent. My spouse thought so too.

Her fee structure is reasonable and she quickly gets the job done. She replies quickly to our emails and offers a free consultation to boot. Everything can be done remotely via zoom meetings and the only time we needed to go into the office was to sign the final documents. Connie is trusted and recommended!

My wife and I recently completed our estate plan with Nerisha and the experience exceeded every…read moreexpectation. As a working couple with two young daughters, we had been putting this off for years -- partly out of complexity and partly not knowing where to start. Nerisha made the entire process feel manageable, thoughtful, and thorough. She prepared a comprehensive estate plan including a revocable living trust, wills, durable powers of attorney, and advance health care directives for both of us. What stood out was how carefully she tailored everything to our specific situation -- we have assets across multiple financial institutions, employer stock plans, retirement accounts, and a home with a mortgage, and she addressed every piece with clear, practical guidance. Nerisha didn't just hand us documents -- she provided a detailed cover letter explaining exactly what each document does, how to fund the trust, what beneficiary designations to update, and the precise wording to use at each financial institution. Months later, when we were actually executing on all those steps, that guidance proved invaluable. When we ran into a specific technical limitation on a beneficiary field at one of our brokerages, she responded the same day with exactly the right wording -- no back and forth, no ambiguity. Her notary work was flawless, documents were delivered with scanned digital copies, and her office was responsive every single time we reached out. The peace of mind we now have -- knowing our family is protected no matter what happens -- is something we cannot put a price on. If you are a family with complex finances or simply someone who has been putting off estate planning, I cannot recommend Nerisha highly enough. She is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. -- Ninad K., San Ramon, CA
