The final ruling for our case has not yet been issued, but as a client, I do feel that I have been very well served by their law firm, and I owe them my gratitude no matter how our case is decided. In addition to bringing in a highly knowledgeable and capable team, they have also operated in an extremely ethical manner. This is very important to my wife and me, based on our personal beliefs. Far too many law firms, including the large, international corporate firm retained by the respondent for defense, use dirty tricks to confuse witnesses, distort evidence and try to pull a fast one on inattentive judges. Ms. Panto and Ms. Gomerman have operated strictly based on truth, facts and the Law. I feel like I can hold my head up high, knowing that working with them, I have also operated in a manner that I can be proud of. If you find yourself in a dispute with an employer, you are likely to be offered a small sum of money, to waive your right to litigation. Deep down, you might believe that the employer is right, and in that case, accept the payment and move on. However, if you believe that you really were treated in an unfair or unethical manner, I would urge you to speak to this team, before giving the employer a free pass. If a company mistreats you and you do nothing to object, that is just an invitation for them to hurt other people. In some cases, you may be right from an ethical standpoint, but may lack the legal basis for a case. Ms. Panto is very capable of making that determination. I organized and prepared all his documents, condensed everything into simple summaries to save time and money, and expected a professional, efficient process. Unfortunately, that's not how things went. * Missed deadlines and ignored emails: For about two months, she said she would send the proposal to the opposing party but never did. I had to follow up weekly, and when she finally replied, we were billed for those communications. * Clerical errors billed to us: She made repeated clerical mistakes in filings and correspondence, which we then had to correct, yet we were charged for her time fixing those errors. * Avoiding responsibility instead of correcting issues: When we pointed out inconsistencies and errors, she began emailing about withdrawing as counsel rather than addressing our concerns. * Poor preparation for court: She never briefed my uncle before his hearing and instead texted me during the hearing with instructions on what to tell him, such as "STFU". English is his second language yet once the concerns were raised she insisted she would only meet with him alone and refused to allow me to interpret, making communication nearly impossible, which is ILLEGAL. * Communication breakdown after we raised issues: Once we brought up her mistakes, she stopped dealing with me directly, even though she had previously approved my involvement and told me she was glad someone detail-oriented was helping. Because of these issues, we now have to hire a new attorney to get caught up and fix the mess left behind. This caused unnecessary delays, stress, and extra expense. We plan to file a complaint with the State Bar regarding our experience. I'm sharing this review so others can make an informed decision, get every promise in writing, confirm timelines and billing in advance, and read other reviews carefully before hiring. (Once we decided to change attorneys, I reviewed and questioned several overbilled or inconsistent charges, and as a result, I received a partial refund.)

I spent a phone consultation with Elene, she gave me more time than we scheduled for. She listened to my stories, both custody issue and child support issue. She questioned me like how the judge would look at the case, gave me real opinions, and offered me all the resources and necessary steps I need. Monday, 8/27/18, I received a phone call from ANNA, the regular receptionist, who was rude, void of listening skills, demeaning and insensitive. I would run, not walk, from this office as fast as you can as long as ANNA remains employed there. Divorce is stressful enough without having to pay to endure abuse from a prospective legal representative's receptionist.
