History
Established in 1994.
The firm was established in Carlsbad in 1994 as the Law Offices of Eric D. Morton. In 2012, the firm move into the Internet cloud to take advantage of the latest technology to better serve our clients.
The firm rebranded in 2015 as Clear Sky Law Group. It established an office in Oakland in 2017. It serves business clients in Oakland, San Francisco, San Leandro and other communities in the Bay Area.
Meet the Business Owner: Eric M.
Eric D. Morton has been an attorney since 1988. Prior attending law school, Eric was a Captain in the Marine Corps.
He began practicing law with a few firms in Orange County, primarily in civil litigation. Eric established his firm in 1994.
Since establishing his own practice, Eric has specialized in business and intellectual property law. His aim is to understand his clients, their businesses and goals, and provide them with service designed to help them be successful.
Eric has organized hundreds of corporations and limited liability companies. He advises clients on corporate governance, contracts, and other transactions.
For three years, Eric taught trademark law and supervised the trademark clinic at California Western School of Law. He has a thorough knowledge of trademark law and uses that expertise to advise clients on their brands and protecting their intellectual property.
