I'm incredibly grateful for the guidance and support I received from this Angelo J. Lagorio during…read morea very difficult time in my life. When I first reached out, I was in a fragile state navigating a divorce involving domestic violence. Even though he wasn't able to take my case, he generously offered a free consultation where he not only helped validate my overall approach, but also showed genuine compassion and understanding. What stood out was his willingness to go a step further--he helped me sanity-check the lawyer I was planning to hire, which gave me much-needed confidence in my next steps. Six months later, when I found myself struggling with a lack of responsiveness from my attorney and growing concerned about delays, I reached out again to see possible options and if switching lawyer would be necessary. Once again, he was incredibly generous with his time. He didn't just listen--he provided clear, practical strategies that helped me re-engage my lawyer effectively. As a result, my case moved forward and was ultimately resolved within two months. One time, I was so stuck, Angelo called me immediately when he saw my message without any charges. I also really appreciated how thoughtful and efficient he was in preparing for the consultations. The information he requested ahead of time ensured that our conversations were focused and made the best possible use of investment made. His professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help--even without taking on the case--truly set him apart. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate family law attorney.

Great quality and timely and efficient! I'd recommend him for others interested in his services!read more

From the beginning, they were incredibly personable and patient, taking the time to explain the process, manage expectations, and coach me through each phase of what was a long and stressful case. When it finally came time for trial, they were outstanding. They tried the case in front of a jury and won, and even more telling, several jurors stayed afterward to personally share positive feedback about how decent, credible, and impressive Kent and Hamaseh were. That kind of response says everything about their integrity, preparation, and presence in the courtroom. I felt supported, well prepared, and confident because of them. Truly 10/10. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs strong, principled legal representation.

I organized and prepared all his documents, condensed everything into simple summaries to save time and money, and expected a professional, efficient process. Unfortunately, that's not how things went. * Missed deadlines and ignored emails: For about two months, she said she would send the proposal to the opposing party but never did. I had to follow up weekly, and when she finally replied, we were billed for those communications. * Clerical errors billed to us: She made repeated clerical mistakes in filings and correspondence, which we then had to correct, yet we were charged for her time fixing those errors. * Avoiding responsibility instead of correcting issues: When we pointed out inconsistencies and errors, she began emailing about withdrawing as counsel rather than addressing our concerns. * Poor preparation for court: She never briefed my uncle before his hearing and instead texted me during the hearing with instructions on what to tell him, such as "STFU". English is his second language yet once the concerns were raised she insisted she would only meet with him alone and refused to allow me to interpret, making communication nearly impossible, which is ILLEGAL. * Communication breakdown after we raised issues: Once we brought up her mistakes, she stopped dealing with me directly, even though she had previously approved my involvement and told me she was glad someone detail-oriented was helping. Because of these issues, we now have to hire a new attorney to get caught up and fix the mess left behind. This caused unnecessary delays, stress, and extra expense. We plan to file a complaint with the State Bar regarding our experience. I'm sharing this review so others can make an informed decision, get every promise in writing, confirm timelines and billing in advance, and read other reviews carefully before hiring. (Once we decided to change attorneys, I reviewed and questioned several overbilled or inconsistent charges, and as a result, I received a partial refund.)

Divorce is hard enough as it is but I've been on this road for a way long time due to kids being involved. When it's a bad divorce, it carries through because you share kids.
