From the beginning, they were incredibly personable and patient, taking the time to explain the process, manage expectations, and coach me through each phase of what was a long and stressful case. When it finally came time for trial, they were outstanding. They tried the case in front of a jury and won, and even more telling, several jurors stayed afterward to personally share positive feedback about how decent, credible, and impressive Kent and Hamaseh were. That kind of response says everything about their integrity, preparation, and presence in the courtroom. I felt supported, well prepared, and confident because of them. Truly 10/10. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs strong, principled legal representation.

Very thorough, excellent at explaining the "whys" of what we were doing together, and fun to work with - even working through thorny topics! James was an ultimate professional, he even found an error in the legal description of our latest deed recorded in 2003 by comparing it with our initial purchase deed from 1998 and our neighbor's deeds. At first, he asked a lot of questions to collect personal data and gauge what exactly we need for our plan. Then he gave us some specific homework and encouraged us to ask more questions. Even though he works for money to pay his bills (as we all must do) he fights really hard for true justice. I want to mention I worked with other attorneys, and they billed every single minute but were not able to provide such consistent and high level performance work as David does. David represented me in a serious case, and the DA did the best as she can to make me look bad in front of the court. But she had no chance against Davids professional skills. I do not want to disclose too many details regarding my case because of my privacy. However, I can highly recommend David Knutsen with 100 stars. Too bad Yelp; offers 5 stars only. One more remark, which is another great benefit of the Knutsen Law firm, is the fact if David is not available his partner Thomas will substitute him. Or the other way around. I can truly say that from my personal experience. In one court hearing David was not available and Thomas had to represent me. Thomas was as sharp as David and on top of things. He provided wonderful a performance and the same high level of professional skills. If you ask me which attorney I would recommend, my answer would be: it doesn't matter as long as one of them takes your case, YOU ARE IN BEST HANDS!!! Last but not least I want to mention Kristine, she is the professional assistant which makes the success of the Knutsen Law Offices a round story. She is always a sunshine and nice to talk to. In conclusion if you need the best professional representation in your case DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL the Knutsen law office right now and ask for help! Add photos & videos

I had to chase for updates through emails, phone calls, and even in-person visits, yet often got no response. It felt like I was completely left in the dark about my own case. Billing was even more frustrating. I received no regular invoices, only a large bill covering months of work with no way to track or control costs. When I tried to raise reasonable concerns, they were dismissed with no willingness to work toward a fair resolution. I eventually had to switch attorneys, and the difference has been night and day -- clear communication, transparency, and professionalism. Looking back, the reviews here did not reflect my experience at all. I wish I had known that earlier.

We reached out to Connie (I think we called her or submitted a request via her website ) and she responded promptly (she is busy so the initial Zoom meeting may take a couple of weeks). In any event, in all our interactions, Connie was responsive, practical, knowledgeable, efficient and just a lovely person (funny too). I should mention that my spouse and I had a short time frame to revise our revocable family trust (along with wills, advanced directives, and power of attorney) and Connie understood and met our time constraints. One night she sent a draft of the revised trust at 1:30 in the morning. If we reached out to her at 9 in the morning, she'd respond promptly as well (within a couple of hours if that). Connie also understood our questions/concerns and provided clear and concise responses (whether via Zoom or by email). We really appreciated Connie's thoughtfulness, diligence, and assistance. I have recommended Connie to our friends. Btw, Connie's fee structure is very reasonable for the services provided. She is also forthright and, if you ask her, she will just tell you, this is what my services will cost. I do feel the need to rebut the one bad review (JW's review). What a strange review. Why would you want an attorney to provide services in an area in which they lack expertise? To me, JW's review is evidence of Connie's honesty and, quite frankly, JW should be thanking Connie for being ethical (vs some charlatan that responds with pay me and I'll give you advice in an area I know nothing about). As an attorney, the law is complex. You do not want someone to give you advice in area in which they lack expertise (sort of like, you would not want an ophthalmologist to conduct your heart surgery--just saying). Anyhow, an example of Connie's expertise: I go, hey Connie, why did you include this language, seems to limit protection against a wayward trustee who, in theory, could steal the assets of the trust (she gave a precise and clear answer). I do actively dislike critical reviews that are baseless. My personal experience with Connie was excellent. My spouse thought so too.

From the beginning, I specifically requested weekly updates and regular billing so I could stay informed and understand where things stood financially. Over time, those updates became inconsistent--sometimes every two to three weeks--and billing was not clearly or regularly provided. This made it very difficult to track what I owed or understand how fees were accumulating. The biggest issue came at the settlement stage. Going into the mandatory settlement conference, I had a completely different understanding of what the financial outcome would be. I expected that after settlement, I would receive a portion of the funds. Instead, I was informed afterward that the entire settlement amount went toward legal fees, which was never clearly communicated to me in advance. There was a clear lack of transparency regarding total costs and what I would net from a potential settlement. These are critical details that any client should be made fully aware of before making major legal decisions. Overall, this experience left me feeling blindsided and uninformed. I strongly recommend that anyone considering working with Alvin ensure they receive frequent, detailed billing statements and a clear understanding of total legal costs throughout the process--not just at the end.

The problems unfortunately begins when something comes up later and you need to get back in touch with him. This will be tedious and take a LOT of your time and patience to continually try to get ahold of him. I literally have to send 10, sometimes 20 emails to get something done. Usually he has an excuse like he was out of the office (for a month and didn't use a OOO auto response??? Yea that's probably not really what happened). Now he at least says he's slammed and apologizes for the weeks of requests. I have needed just a few small tweaks done to a trust and it's taken nearly 6 months. And this isn't a one time thing.
