The Front receptionist and I began talking after a while and I mentioned how I would've got mine done & she stopped me mid sentence exclaiming that she has someone who could take me right now. Of course I took her up on the offer and ended getting my brows tinted and cleaned up. The brow artist I had (sadly I don't remember her name) was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted instead of doing whatever she thought I needed. Needless to say, my brows came out amazing. I've gotten compliment after compliment because she did a really great job of making them look natural. She also gave me tips on maintaining them and what to use to help them grow in the places I have slight gaps. Another thing I noticed while I was sitting there waiting for my friend is that the brow artist wouldn't take her next appointment if let's say she was waiting 10 minutes for the tint to set on her 1st appointment. This is something I've experienced all the time and really dislike at salons because then you're stuck waiting till they're done with a person that came after you. So I really like the fact that they gave their full attention to you and your appointment. I will honestly being going back here for the simple fact that they overall provide a great service. So anyone looking to have their eyebrows slayed, this is the place!

I've been coming here for a few years and Ella has always done a great job on my brows. As others have noted, the wait times can be long but I found that as long as I had an appointment I only waited a few minutes. In June I had an appointment yet was kept waiting about 40 minutes. I messaged the owner and she apologized and had a bunch of excuses as to why Ella was running so behind and couldn't call or text to let me know. Ella didn't apologize but I chalked it up to her being young and that after our chat her mom would explain how to handle situations like this going forward. I didn't really plan to come back but I'm traveling for work and my brows were a mess so I decided to give them another try. I called earlier in the day and made an appointment for 6:30, arrived on time and Ella didn't start on my brows until 7:20. And once again not even so much as an "I apologize for the wait" or "thanks for your patience." I've never had a service provider not even acknowledge keeping a paying customer waiting that long in my life and now she has done it to me twice. I won't give them a third opportunity to not even show basic decency or customer service. It's sad that they've lost so many customers, not because they don't do great work, but because they refuse to invest in a system for booking appointments.

I have gone to places near and far for an excellent threader and look no further: Alison opened up Beyond Brows - I have been coming here ever since she opened up a few years ago. She took a hiatus for health reasons but she is back and I do not go to anyone else to take care of my eyebrows. She is consistent with my shape and keeps them clean and looking fabulous. I will admit, if you are a first time customer here, it will not be top knotch exquisite service. This is a threading salon - not a spa. You will be waiting even if you HAVE an appointment, but I suggest calling ahead to see what the wait is like before you come if you are in a rush. If you are lucky enough to get Alison, you will not be disappointed. She has a gift! She is quick, painless and not to mention extremely efficient. She knows what she is doing. I cannot speak on behalf of anyone else as Alison is the only threader I go to here. She has been in this industry for a very long time. If you live in the Pines area and are looking to check out a new place to tame your brows, then look no further to Beyond Brows. It may not be the best service you receive customer service wise, but that is a miss I am willing to take to have the best shaped eyebrows on the block. I personally love this place for eyebrows, second year coming here but honestly would not recommend for lashes. It felt like a rush job. Felt chemicals in my eyes and I already know the placement was odd considering i've had my lashes done a few times by real professionals and this felt nothing like it. I over paid for lashes that didn't fully work out so now I have to pay someone else to fix them. Would not recommend for lashes at all. Stick to the name! Katie knows exactly what she is doing; she is a perfectionist and extremely knowledgeable in her profession. I've been having my eyebrows done ever since I can remember (being born with a unibrow will have you tweezing in the 2nd grade), she is the first person to look at me and tell me EXACTLY what I need. I appreciated that so much because we only know what we know and she is the expert. Everyone else I had gone to previously would clean them and do what I asked, which is ideally what should happen. But Katie...she looked at me and told me "your eyebrows should start here," proceeding to map my brows out to perfection.
