I had an eyebrow emergency that needed immediate tending to, and after searching and calling 10 different spots on a Sunday afternoon, Raj was the only one kind enough to take me in last minute!! I was so happy to find this spot, especially during COVID times...she made sure to constantly sanitize and make sure everything was clean. I was shocked at how fast and well she was able to thread both my eyebrows and my upper lip, but even more shocked at how inexpensive it was!! I hate doing this to a small business but the only good one here is the owner. Her employees are so rude and completely ignore customers when they walk in. Absolutely no customer service from them. The owner is the only one who is trying to keep a business running. I've been doing my eyebrows with her for a few years and hate to see all of her hard work go to waste. read more

I'm so sorry that I took my mother here for a facial. It smelled terrible and looks so dated. The facial room was tiny and dirty. My mother was taken in and I was supposed to have a facial at the same time. The woman left me waiting and never mentioned the other technician was NOT COMING. Instead she came out and told me she could start because she put a mask on my mother. Shouldn't you be massaging her hands, doing something? Not leaving her to start mine! My poor mother emerged with bits of mask all over her face still. This place is disgusting and they have some imagination calling themselves a spa. read more

I stopped in and asked if there was someone available for eyebrow waxing. Service was fast without waiting. The place was basic but signs were posted with pricing and it seemed clean. Everything went downhill from there. When told to lay back she started threading. I instantly said I asked for wax. She said "Sorry but threading will be better". The end result was okay. The place itself is actually a nail salon. There are two rooms towards the back of the salon and that's where the facials and waxing take place. It was a no frills environment. No spa music while I got my facial. Just a loud ass Cuban gossiping with her friend while she got her nails did. Lol. Raj did my facial and she was great! She's very sweet and cleaned my face right up which is why I'm kinda torn giving 3 stars. It's more 3.5 STARS. My deep cleansing facial, which it states on their website is 45 minutes, was actually 30 minutes by the time she finished. As much as I liked the service, no one likes being cheated of their time. I did have a groupon but that still doesn't justify it. I still wouldn't cross them off your list as like I said, Raj was great. Maybe just pay full price when you go? read more

If I could leave Zero stars I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! They have a groupon scam going on here. I wish I would've read the previews reviews. I purchased a groupon for keratin treatment 2 weeks ago and made an appointment for this morning at 10am. Upon arrival I was "greeted" by Cookie where she asked if I'm the one who called yesterday to change my appointment for April 7th (why will I show up if i changed my appointment?). As soon as I mentioned groupon, she said "sorry but we cant take groupons because groupon is not paying me" I asked them to resolve that with groupon since they already had my payment. They asked me to try to get a refund from groupon and pay them again in cash and they will honor the groupon deal. The owner got involved and told me it was better for me to deal directly with groupon than the salon contacting them (another red flag), she even said groupon cancelled their account. I contacted groupon and they were able to refund me. Groupon also told me that the salon is lying because they pay all vendors after each transaction. Since I got my refund from groupon, I decided to go ahead and do the cash deal. I told Cookie and Cookie tells me to wait for her a few minutes because she forgot she left her car running across the street at a different shopping plaza (made no sense at all) she returns 25-30 min later and tells me to wait again because she had to finish off a client with a her dye. It was 11:30am (my appt was at 10am) so I decided to go to another salon. Worst salon ever! read more

I got a facial the other day from groupon..don't know what the lady's name was, but definitely not going back there again. She was not professional and I didn't feel relaxed and did not enjoy my experience. I've gotten a really nice facial before in the past at a different place and this place does not compare. Pretty dissapointing. Also I noticed after that there was a bottle of clearasil face wash on the table of products she used... Really?? Something I can go buy at Walgreens is what I paid money for a nice facial and that's one of the products she used?? Never will I go back. The lady even laughed at me when I was telling her how painful it was when she was doing the "extractions" she thought it was funny...but I didn't. I found this salon in groupon. I purchased the groupon and called them on the phone number listed. Spoke to a Spanish lady who confirmed the day and time. When I got to my appointment, the lady said she didn't remember speaking with me and agreeing to the appointment. She said I must have called another salon. I showed her on my phone the number I called. The owner of the salon confirmed it was the hairdresser's cell number. Being it was New Year's Eve, I was in a bind since I had plans for the evening. The hairdresser said she would agree to do my hair. But, I had to wait at least 4 to 5 hours till she was finished and I had to pay full price because she will NOT accept the groupon. Luckily, the owner was very accommodating and very ashamed of the hairdresser's actions and spoke to another hairdresser (Dominican lady-can't remember her name) who did take care of me and did a great job. Consumers be aware of the groupon deal going on now with Beautiful U. The phone number listed is: +17863068534. The rude hairdresser's name is COOKY.
