It's been a while since I went in for threading, COVID brows and all. I didn't make an appointment, but there wasn't a lot of people on a Saturday morning... While a customer was waiting for her brows bleached, the owner threaded mine. I felt rushed, but couldn't be sure. I also asked for a tint, and it definitely felt as if she was really rushing... She wasn't careful about filling in the brows. Mine came out slightly uneven in shape and color. I probably won't come back. Update the next morning: I get bruises on both sides :( see photos. Definitely not recommended for sensitive skin. I wish she would have been slower, gentler, and applied some smoothing cream after. read more

I was considering micro blading for years but very apprehensive. Stopped in one day at her salon and she explained in detail all about the procedure. Felt very comfortable and decided to book appt. which she scheduled before opening time to accommodate me. Day of appt. she threaded my eyebrow (btw that's awesome too) and outlined my new eyebrows which we worked together to tweak before moving on. I have been coming to Eyebrow Art 1 for about 3 years now to get my eyebrows threaded by Shehzadi. And out of the MANY places I have been to in the past, I have never been as satisfied as I am when I leave Eyebrow Art 1. I recently decided to get my brows microbladed after learning that she offered this service as well. The procedure itself was minimal discomfort, Shehzadi made sure to check in with me and my comfort. She explained in detail the procedure, the healing process, and showed me the packaged tool she would be using. Everything was done in a sanitized and orderly area. At first Shehzadi did my eyebrow threading and tinting, would last 1 month, great shape and I loved it. She mentioned that microbladding would benefit me. I must say I have thought about this from time to time just never followed through. I finally went for microbladding and WOW I am so glad I did. My eyebrows came out two different shapes and one looks particularly chopped up. Like she cut it shorter (the literally length of the eyebrow hairs) than the other one and the shape is arched but like two lines that don't meet at the center - rather than one continuous shape with an arch. It's really bad work, i would not recommend. She seemed nice and she seemed to understand what i was asking for, which was just to clean up the brow, but somehow i came out with uneven brows and one that seemed haphazardly cut up. Visited on a Friday afternoon, no wait which was great since I was on a time constraint. Prices were fair $11 eyebrows and $6 upper lip. I think there should have been more cleanup. Most threading places pull out the tweezer for those hard to get hairs but that didn't happen. I also had to ask her to clean up more of the unibrow area. It was mediocre at best. read more

I dont usually write reviews but I'm highly upset and disappointed with how my eyebrows turned out. I was looking for a eyebrow threading spot and I stumbled on this location based on the decent reviews and it being one of the few eyebrow threading spots still open. The worst mistake ever... I arrived at around 5 knowing that this location closes at 6. Once I got there the door was locked. That should have been my first sign to just leave and try again another day somewhere else. After 5ish mins of waiting the worker finally comes to the door. When I first walk in, I told her that I just want a shape up nothing too crazy. After she does my eyebrows I looked in the mirror and literally half of my eyebrow is gone. Both of the tails of my eyebrows are gone but on my left eyebrow its much more noticeable. I have NEVER experienced such sloppy work and I've been applying castor oil every night and all of that went to vein. I have to now fill in my eyebrows myself until my hair grows back because of such insufferable work. I will not be returning to this location and I hope this brings awareness to anyone else who might be considering going here. read more

I went in today to try this eyebrow threading place for the first time and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I had an older lady thread my brows and she shaped my brows horribly it only that but there was A PATCH MISSING FROM MY EYEBROWS! An entire patch of hair was gone and she tried to cover it up by coloring it in with an eyebrow pencil, which looked terrible might I add. She also left hairs where they should have been taken off. It was sloppy and I could have done a better job with tweezers. She also hurt me and pulled on my eyelash hair with the string TWICE. I am extremely unhappy with my brows it's very embarrassing that I now have to walk around with a patch of hair missing from my brow and a terrible shape. You would think specializing in eyebrow threading they would know that they're doing, they don't. Do not waste your money here. read more

Got my eyebrows microbladed here end of Nov. After she was done and I looked in the mirror, I was so disappointed, I could have cried. My eyebrows were two different shapes, and lengths. It looked like poor eye pencil filling, but permanent. On my right eyebrow, in particular, there are two weird lines on the end, and at the top I asked for it to be arced, I was told they can't give me what I don't naturally have (photo shows I naturally have one)! But isn't the point of microblading to give you fuller, symmetrical eyebrows?! Please note, there are no actual measurements! After the recommended 6 weeks, my eyebrows were, of course, still a disaster and I did not want them be retouched. I asked for a refund, and was met with an attitude and reasons why I should not be refunded. I was eventually given 50% refund, and a comment "after getting a refund you people will still go online and leave a negative comment". Yes! Because it is what it is. I chose here based on location and overall ratings but should have specifically looked for the microblading reviews. It would have saved me money, embarrassment, and my eyebrows. This was just my experience, yours may differ but I'd advise, for microblading, spend the extra money and get it done elsewhere. read more

Microblading review: Ok the deal is good on Groupon not too cheap and not too expensive. I didn't know what to expect but had seen and heard plenty of reviews online and from my sister on how things should go. Beauty things never seem to go good for me so I should of known this wasnt going to go as i would hope. The lady is not organized, if she cares about time she should have had everything ready to go before i got there. I could understand her sometimes which is Not a good thing! So if you have problems understanding accents this wont go good. She never measured anything she never asked me what I wanted or even said what the process was I had to keep asking and i could barely understand her. She just outlined the shape of eyebrow i already had!!! Which is a thin old tattoo from the 2000's, i kept saying i need it thicker! She mumbled alot and kept blaming me for bleeding and not taking in color like she wanted to because now she was rushing cuz another lady was booked an hour after my appointment, WTF! I should have never came here and wasted so much money!! The deal comes with a touch up and i will not be going back to her! She did something i could do with makeup on my own! Now im stuck with dark thin eyebrows i rather have my tattoo back at least it was lighter! Also i heard alot of no's to my wants! when it came to color she didnt have what i wanted or even know how to do it, which was brown with a hint of red to match my colored hair. This is my personal experience others might have better luck if they already have full eyebrows but she doesnt know how to make an eyebrow if theres no hair, and ive seen plenty of ppl do magic on women with no eyebrows at all! read more

The lady (owner something with an S) was very nice & place was very clean but the work was horrible. I hadn't done anything to my eyebrows in a month trying to find a place near my home that had good results so, I found this place with 4 stars in yelp and thought ok seems legit. I arrived and left with two different shapes eyebrows. I didn't notice inside the shop bc I was in a hurry on my lunch break but when I arrived to the restaurant I was going to eat I noticed my left eyebrow had a circle arch and my right one a square arch. I couldn't call back right away but I am plan on calling today. I have no intention of letting them try to fix it tho, I may end up with no eyebrows. When I arrived home my husband that never notices anything says "why do you have the look of surprise on half of your face?" I have to travel all the way down to Miami to see my old specialist so she can try to fix the botch job. That's what I get for trying to save an hour drive ‍ I do not recommend this place for shaping. Maybe for clean up because you may already have the base but definitely not for shaping. read more

This place is very close to my office, so I gave them a try. I loved that I could walk in at noon and there was no wait! Last salon I went to in Aventura you needed a reservation at that time and even then had to wait! My favorite thing about my experience is that she had the softest touch! Most areas I barely felt! She was super quick on my lip too! The reason I'm going with a 4-star rating is that she did do some tweezing, which I don't think should be done with threading.
