Very clean and nice location- staff is friendly and nice. The lash tech did not speak English well and constantly had to get translation when speaking. I was very disappointed with the quality of work- my lashes did not look any different at all. I wasted over an hour of my time- I honestly just wanted to get out of there. There were pieces of glue residues left on one of my lashes. Literally no difference at all, very disappointed. read more

Today was my lucky day. I walked inside checked the place out and liked it so much I decided to try them out. To my good luck, they had an opening, a last-minute cancelation. The spa is small but they do many services here. Today I had eyelash extensions put on. Helen the person performing the task did a fabulous job. I was very happy with the results. I got the right color and length I wanted it. I liked that she knew what she was doing. The spa is located in a corner. Across from the post office, same street, Polk St., It has a public garage within walking distance from the spa. It's that big, colorful, public garage on Hollywood Blvd. You can't miss it. The customer service was good. I enjoyed the music selection playing. Everyone was very professional. They really try to make you feel comfortable here. I was glad I came. read more

Such a cute spa! I went in for a lash lift and tint and it came out so great!!! I've had one done before somewhere else and the lady here really knows what she's doing! She transformed my flat lashes into one standing ones! Their prices are great, they even have a Groupon out. Super clean, nice lady, easy street parking too. They also offer microblading, facials and more! I'm definitely going back! I highly recommend! read more

Had an appointment for a lash lift w tint. Came in and was kindly greeted by Ella. Place was very clean and ambience serene. Told Ilina exactly what I wanted and an hour later awoke to the most beautiful lash lift. They just make my eyes look so big. I then had eyebrows threaded by Ella who then convinced me to to the tint & also loved it. I give this place and the girls a 10!!!! Gorgeous girls, nice place & amazing service. Went to get an eyelash lift . The lady was rude and racist . My eye was burning the whole time so i asked if it was normal and they told me it was because i was blinking and "i was moving the pad under my eye when i blinked "but i knew that product had fallen into my eye, which was causing it to burn and for me to blink so much . The whole appointment i felt like i was going to lose one of my eyes because it was burning so bad .When they finished my eye was red .They looked pretty after i did them but later that day all my lashes stuck together . I would not recommend this place ! My sister went in for a lash lift with me and she left with ONLY ONE SIDE LIFTED?! . The whole time the lady's we're all talking bad about us in a different language .DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL . WASTE OF MONEY . read more

I did my eyelashes once a long time ago. It wasn't a great experience and I never did it again. I came here to try the lift and tint, however my eyelashes were too short they recommended to get the extensions and I figured I'd give it another chance. I am very glad I did, Lily is the best! She listened to what I wanted, and she made my eyelashes feel and look very natural. I have been coming for I believe my fourth refill now. My eyelashes are always clean, they don't fall that often and they last longer than expected. I highly highly recommend this place specially Lily, she's a Sweetheart. read more

I Really enjoyed my experience today with Mali! She is super friendly and highly experienced. Within moments of sitting in her chair she could immediately notice my problematic areas, patterns of my hair growth and where I needed extra attention. She took her time and was very thorough. This will be my go to spot for eyebrow care in Hollywood. TIP: be sure to call in advance for an appointment! read more

This spa is such a gem in Hollywood,Florida. It's styled in elegant fashion that exudes warmth and relaxation. ILANA and MALI Are warm friendly considerate (and yes they do communicate with their clients to confirm your appointment or to tell you if they are running late) I've been there 3 times for my eyelashes and eyebrows. Let's just say that this 60 something lady is over the moon happy with how my once old eyes look now!!!!!! You're missing out if you don't give Ikona Spa make you feel beautiful read more

I purchased a Groupon for a eyelash perm and tint & absolutely loved my results! I made an appointment for the same day and the process was very simple. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all & I was even provided a blanket. I am currently about 4 weeks in and still have a very visible curl. The tint did not last as long but that was expected. I very foolishly did not take photos before and after but will update my review since I plan to go back! read more

I have one word to describe this place....MIKE! He did my eyelash extensions and did a phenomenal job. He's very gentle and meticulous. He was so patient with me, I twitch my eyes more than the average person and he never got frustrated. The spa is decorated beautifully and they make the whole experience relaxing and peaceful. My eye lashes look amazing...I'll never go to anyone except Mike. Thank you!! read more

I had my eyebrows microbladed by Ilona, and I absolutely LOVE them. I definently recommend going the extra mile and getting them touched up two weeks after the initial session. At my touch up she meticulously stroked in the finishing touches. They WANT you to look good, and they definently make it happen. I had never had my brows microbladed before and was nervous, but I am so happy I found Ikona Spa, it's great to feel like you're with someone who cares about your face and wouldn't let you walk out the door looking a mess! Michael also threaded my SUPER overgrown eyebrows ... He was also fabulous!! The spa is very well decorated and chic, very clean and inviting. Overall positive and rewarding experience read more

Don't waist your time and money, they are very unprofessional and don't even do an ok job. I had a lash lift and was completely gone on my left eye and was barely visible on my right eye in less than a week!!! They give me an appointment to fix it a while after so I don't lose my eyelashes (I had to ask for it, she wanted to do the treatment again that same day) and when I go back she wanted me to pay full price for fixing her own poorly done job. read more

God has finally answered my prayers... it is so hard in south FL to find an amazing esthetician. MALI at the Ikona Spa is my eyelash specialist/eyebrow threader/therapist, 3 in 1. Wow, I went in the Ikona Spa to just get my eyelashes done and I ended up getting my eyebrows threaded, tinted, along with my upper lip. I couldn't pass it up, I saw how superb she threaded the 3 ladies before me and I had to let her beautify me. I'm so happy that I found her but I'm so sad that I've been without her this long!!!!! I am never going to get my eyebrows or eyelashes done by anyone else! She has such a beautiful soul with the touch like none other, I thank you for making me not only look beautiful but feel beautiful inside too. You have a faithful client in me! Called this place to see if they had brow lamination on 8/14 because I saw that on Groupon they has specials for lash lifts. They did not, on 8/14 have a Groupon for brow lamination. I really wanted to get my eyebrows done, called a few places, and this was the only place that had a spot available early in the morning, as I had to work in the afternoon. I arrive at the spa, it was small but cute and clean. I am was greeted by the person who did my eyebrows (forgot her name a blonde woman). She asked if this was my fist time getting this service and I said yes. Long story short, she laminated them, yes, but that was it. Did not offer to tint or shape the brows. She basically left them as is. I then asked her about after care and all she said was to stay away from water for 24 hours. THEN I asked her if it would be ok to immediately fill them in with my usual brow makeup and her response was, "sure sure not a problem." THANK GOD I started doing my research on care after lamination and about how you're not only supposed to stay away from water for 24 hours, but should also avoid makeup, as well as constantly brush them with the spoolie they are supposed to provide you with. She provided me with none of that. So, I ended up paying $65 for this service, plus a 15% tip that was extremely hard for me to part with because I did not believe that she deserved it. Her work was subpar at best. Now today, 8/15 I go on Groupon and see that she's offering lamination services for $44!!!! I was in shock. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be retuning to this place, I see people saying she's good with the whole lash thing and that may be her thing, but she should definitely stay away from people's brows. Next time, I will definitely pay the $100 or $150 to have a proper job done. read more

This place was amazing! All the girls were super kind and very respectful. I was a bit hesitant because I'm the type of person that reads reviews first but I realize everyone has different ways they view things. Love love love ! This is my new one stop shop. I went yesterday to get lashes for the FIRST time and I couldn't be happier. Korina and Mali both made me feel super comfortable. Korina did my lashes & did an amazing job. I asked for a natural look & that's exactly what she did. She had so much patience & took the time to ensure I was happy with the results. I ended up getting my brows threaded as well. Ive been going to the same place for a year & a half for my brows since I have a scar & way too many people have messed them up... so I was a little worried at first but Mali did an AMAZING job. I won't be going back to the other place. She also recommended microblading to cover up the scar a bit. While I waited to remove my brow tinting she invited me in to see how the microblading is done since one of her loyal clients was getting it. I really appreciated the fact that she took the time to show me & explain how it's done. I ended up makingthe appointment for microblading , I'm super excited! The prices are reasonable & the place is super cute. I highly recommend it. read more

First time here for Eyelash Extension. I wanted the Kim Kardashian look. What a great experience. Natalie did a fantastic job, she was very gentle, very professional work. This is a girls hang out place to get pampered. I will be back! read more

So I made a noon appointment over the phone to do microblading with Mali on May 6th along with a friend of mine who was getting a touch up (who found her on Groupon and used a Groupon when she went). We show up at 11:30 and Mali hasn't shown up to work yet. We wait till 12:30 and still no Mali. So we go to lunch. We come back and the owner says Mali is a no call, no show. We reschedule for today May 14th. We call yesterday to make sure she's gonna be there, and when we show up today, she starts my friends touch up late. They numb me and then once it's my turn to get it done, she informs me that she (personally) isn't accepting Groupons anymore and they want me to return it and pay them in cash. The Groupon was $180, which they told my friend, if she referred people they could pay the Groupon price, so I offered to pay $50 additional cash and they still said no. So now after coming here on multiple occasions, I have no microblading and a Groupon I can't use. They were basically upset with me for buying a Groupon even though they put their business on Groupon in the first place. On a side note, they offered a different (newer) technician to come in and do it, but as you know with microblading you want it done by someone who's work you've been following for months. I wouldn't recommend going here or their shady business practice. read more

Came here with a groupon and was so glad that I gave this place a try. My lashes came out amazing and doll-like, I got nonstop compliments. Called to make an appointment and the lady asked if I was using a Groupon. When I told her I planned to purchase it, she told me to find another place they can't take me. Rude, unprofessional, and maybe don't offer a groupon then. Honestly, Will gladly go somewhere else. read more

My awful experience started when I called to book my appointment. I let them know that I had a groupon and they told me that because I was not a "full-paying" customer I couldn't be seen right away. Then I reluctantly went to the salon after my friend had all of her eyelashes fall out within the first day. When I first got there the eyelash tech was talking on the phone about how one of her customers no-showed again, this is all while she was doing someone's eyelashes. When it was my turn I showed a picture of how I wanted my lashes from a previous full set I had received elsewhere. they told me because I purchased the groupon that I would only get a "natural set" which is 25 lashes per eye. The groupon states "full set of mink lashes" with a picture of something that is beyond a full set! There was no fine print there was nothing to say that it would be anything otherwise. Mali overheard my conversation and started to tell me that if I wanted that then I can pay for an upgrade. She said if I wanted it like I had in my picture I would have to pay $30 more on top of the $93 I already paid. Absolutely not. She said that they just use Groupon to get people in the door but there are different rules with groupon and this was theirs. (None of which were stated in the Groupon) The tech admitted that someone supposedly changed the Groupon and sorry she wasn't aware. It would have been totally fine if they just honored what the groupon said. she tried to convince me to get the natural lashes which she now said is not only 25 lashes per eye. At this point, they treated me like a second class citizen because I purchased a Groupon! If they don't want people to buy them then pull your groupon! She continued to tell me that I'm stubborn and then told me to go to amazing lash where they would glue my lashes together. This was the WORST service I have ever experienced in my life. I have been getting lashes for years and I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. On top of it, she did all of this in front of another customer through a curtain and not even to my face. Poor business practices, awful customer service and complete false advertising. read more

I got a lash lift here a month and two days ago and have been very disappointed. The curl was much less drastic than usual (friends that knew I was getting a lift had to ask if I'd gotten one afterward; I still felt the need to curl my lashes daily). I waited a while to see if it would last the 9+ weeks they advertised (4-8 is typical), but after 4 weeks my lashes are back to normal. I would not recommend this salon for a lift, even at the reduced prices. read more
