I had such an amazing experience at Brows by Lisha! I actually went to another brow studio around the corner first and unfortunately didn't have the best experience, so I came here afterward -- and I'm SO glad I did. She went above and beyond to make sure my brows looked absolutely perfect and that I was happy with the final result. She was patient, detailed, professional, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. Truly one of the best beauty service experiences I've had! If you're looking for someone you can trust with your brows, I 100% recommend coming here. And if you're looking for lashes or any of her other beauty services, definitely check her out as well. I'll absolutely be back! read more

I wanted to update my review after some time and experiences. While I really appreciated Simky's work in the beginning and found her talented and detail-oriented, I eventually made the decision to stop coming here. As the sole worker most of the time, it became difficult to get in touch or book appointments consistently- especially emergent appointments. I also noticed that the shaping of my brows started to shift over time, and unfortunately, they weren't growing into the style I originally loved. It felt like the consistency just wasn't there, and the shape I had about 11 months ago was no longer being maintained. It's clear that Simky is doing her best managing everything, but I think the experience could really benefit from additional trained staff to help provide a more reliable and consistent service when she's unavailable. For now, I've found another place that's been working better for me, but I truly wish her continued success and would give this place 2-3 stars. read more

Consistency with good service is always my thing. No complaints. Been going for close to three plus years now. I don't have to go in and micromanage how my brows need to be shaped. I go, I sit, tell them (most times Simky) I want an arch and that's it. Sit back and get threaded. The technique is not pain free or the most comfortable but it's not the most painful either. It's quick, easy and precise. Go and try. Also you can stop and look around in the area after for some cool places to grab a sandwich or quick lunch. Live & Love. read more

Simky's Brow Bar - Brows by Simky! - Waxing Near Me - Hallandale, Florida

Simky's is located in a small shopping center in Hallandale Beach. I stopped in on a weekday to get my eyebrows threaded and was able to have it done immediately. The woman did a great job with my sensitive skin, and even put light makeup in my brows after to darken them. I'll definitely be coming here again when it's time! read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Simky does my eyebrows! I'm not gonna lie I did go somewhere else a couple times because she wasn't at the place when I needed to go. HUGE MISTAKE! I ended coming right back. Keep in mind she has two locations and if you want to catch Simky herself she is there Saturdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Very affordable as well :) read more

This salon accepted walk ins easily and did an amazing job on my eyebrows. Simky took time and paid attention to details! Definitely my new staple salon that I will be going back to. read more

So I recently came in on Saturday to get my eyebrows threaded based off of a recommendation from my coworker. I'd called a few days ahead and was told that she is there by 10. So I came in right at 10 and she was not there. Which really isn't a big deal. I didn't have anything pressing to do. I was told that she says 10 but that Simky doesn't really come in until about 11. I was then asked to put my name on the list and that I could wait for her. I did not know that I had the option to wait inside, so I waited outside in my car. I'd thought that since I'd put my name on the list that I'd get a call, once she came in as this was my first time and I didn't know what she looked like. Time went by and it is now 11:30 and I am seeing more people go in. So I decided to go in and see if she'd arrived. Lo and behold, one was getting out of the chair and was being seated. So naturally I am thinking to myself what was the point of putting my name on the list? Initially I was going to bring it to her attention but decided against it and just waited my turn. I am big on communication and customer service. While my eyebrows do look great, the honor system of acknowledging the sign in sheet kind of bothers me. As an owner, I would first check-in with who was there first and if I wasn't there, that's one thing. But to ignore the sheet all together, idk how I feel about that. I think often times people just assume that people know them and are previous clients. read more

Great for eye brow threading. Polite and professional staff. Always a good experience. I've been going for more than five years.

Simky is the best make sure you use her $12 threading and it is amazing! I won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows she always does a perfect job. read more

Simky's is AMAZING. Ive been patronizing her business for several years now. I hated waxing my eyebrows. I was so happy the year that I bumped into her salon in Hallandale Beach. There is another salon in the area that also does threading and they charge $20+. I quickly made an about face and a swift exit! Simky's is fare priced. She provides great and quick customer service. Her new location may be a bit tricky to find, and the parking can be a slight pain, but once you get it, you are good to go. read more

Horrible experience at this place!!! I told the woman who waxed me not to put it on a specific part of my face because I break out. She was so busy chatting with her friend that she put the wax directly on the spot I told her not to. I told her my face breaks out and she told me "no it does not". A woman I just met knows more about my face then I do? I left this shop bleeding with wax still on my face. (Even though she told me I was done). By the time I got to the car the location I mentioned would break out already had a break out. STAY AWAY!! read more

Simky is never there now. Not even on the days when she's supposedly there. And the dumb bitch who is there doesn't know what she's doing!!! Removed too much from my left brow and made too thin and now I have uneven eyebrows. And she still had the nerve to charge me. Simky is amazing but take care of your business and hire good people who are not going to do some botch ass job!!!! read more

I recently came here because I was in need of a mani pedi. However, I am not from the Hallendale area so I used Groupon to find this salon. I paid a lower price on Groupon than the actual salon for a regular mani pedi which is great especially to try for the first time. At the actual salon, it costs $33 for a regular mani pedi. I'm rating it 3 stars because the staff member that painted my nails was really nice and helped me pick a color for the upcoming occasion I had. She was great. However, I guess the nail polish itself was not great at all. I got my nails done on Saturday and by that same day in the afternoon they began to crack. I'm assuming the nail polish might be too old. Even though I paid a lower price I'm still a little upset that the nail polish is cracking and does not look good. At this salon, they seem to specialize on brow threading. The owner seems to be really good at the job because she had non stop clients since I was there. read more

I met the owner, Simky, she did a eyebrow lamination and I was really happy with the final service result. She was so friendly and welcoming and worked so hard to meet expectations of what I was looking for. Her price point was fair and below average for the surrounding businesses. Service is the best and high quality. Would definitely recommend. Clean and welcoming atmosphere read more

When I first moved to South Florida I was leery about finding someone who would do a good job with threading my eyebrows. I'm very particular about my eyebrows but who isn't? I spent about a month in Hallandale Beach while I searched for a more permanent residence. During that time I came across Simky's Brow Bar. Reluctant, I decided to give it a try and plus my eyebrows were beginning to form a unibrow. XD There are two threading stations towards the front of the store. The back area houses a nail salon. I sat in the chair and she was very friendly and welcoming. I explained to her exactly what I wanted. (She was the older of the two ladies). I like my brows to remain thick and consistent with the shape. My brows have a natural arch and I can't tell you how many times they've been messed up. I usually ask for a "clean up" which basically removes excess overgrown hair around the edges. So she began. It hurt like heck!, as it always does. Oh, the cost of beauty. But it was over rather quickly and she did a fabulous job. The next time I went I tried the other tech and she did a great job as well, although I had to direct her a few times because the communication between us was a bit challenging. She offered to try a thing called, tinting. I tried it and immediately wanted to cry. LOL. My eyebrows were so thick and unreasonably fake looking, like they were plastered on my face. (Unfortunately, it lasted this way for a few days). Hey, some women like this kind of stuff. Me, I like it as natural as it can be. read more

I am so happy I found her! She makes my eyebrows beautiful every single time. The only person I trust with my brows!

Simky has been doing my eyebrows for over 16 years. She is the best! Her salon is super clean, the staff is always so nice and caring. Whenever I leave Simky's, I am always satisfied with the care and love she puts into my eyebrows. She's absolutely the best! read more

Simky's Brow Bar - Eyebrows by Simky - Waxing Near Me - Hallandale, Florida

Simky has a reputation in South Florida for being THE BEST in eyebrow threading and design and I agree! Eyebrows are the most important accent to your face. The shape of your eyebrows will change your entire face and look. Whether you like fabulous dramatic eyebrows like mine, or those thick full trendy eyebrows, Simky can give you the best shape for YOUR face in whatever style you want! Simky used to work for a well known, but not well liked, salon in North Miami Beach. She recently left to open her own salon, Simky's Brow Bar. The salon offers walk-in eyebrow threading, full service threading to remove other unwanted hair, manicures, pedicures and massage. The best times to visit are weekdays, in the early evening as this place gets packed in the weekends. Simky's clients will travel for her services, she's that good! The cost for eyebrow threading is only $10 and it includes shaping and design. Cash and credit are accepted. Check Groupon because she usually offers local deals. I don't trust my eyebrows to anyone but the best. You will not be disappointed. read more

Very happy with my eyebrows! Just moved from Tampa so I was nervous who to trust with my eyebrows but she did amazing! Highly recommend

Don't expect to be able to voice how you feel about the service with out being kicked out. I've been going to simky for 10 years, therefore I would've never imagined simkys unprofessional mannerism. PSA: I found her!!!!! She is the absolute best.... For great customer service and beyond amazing eyebrows come to Simky!!! I recently moved part time in between this area and the other side of the US, the West Coast earlier this year. I have my typical walk in threading boutiques where I am from and always such a pleasure. I would like to also state that I've never given less than a 4 star review to anyone on Yelp and I'm not one to complain, it's rare, especially on social media. So with that being said I'm sure Simky is lovely and my only regret is not meeting her and actually giving my feedback based on her. I don't know her second hand ladies name but she also is Indian, Pakistan or of some decent of that nature. She isn't very nice, I don't care about your opinions on my brows, but more importantly she is flat out rude. I'm the customer, I came in at 5:40 last Saturday evening, you close at 6. She rolls her eyes when I walk in and says really?!? Yes she said this to me. Then she says she could do my brows, I told her a full face threading which by the way is $40 (with eyebrows) that I didn't need. She did it easy, too quick like 12 mins, all the hair wasn't gone but I didn't want to sit in that chair any longer. To top it off, as she's finishing me after complaining that I came in late, another lady walks in for her brows and she takes her. Turn off your open sign if you don't want customers prior to your listed closing time on Yelp and your business sign. Also, she made sure I was aware that someone spilled her hot wax all over the place right before I got there. Not my problem, were not coworkers or buddies and no excuse for the attitude when I walked in. Needless to say, I hope Simky realizes, family, friend or whomever this lady is she is hurting her business. There are many options out there and she moves way too quick. 12 mins for a full face threading for $40?! I had hair still when I left, unacceptable, mind you once I checked out it was still 5 minutes to closing or scheduled closing time. She seems to have her own schedule. Unbelievable this chick thinks she could even talk to a new customer in that matter! I def won't be back nor will I refer anyone there. I would pay double to not set foot back in that place. It's in a run down shopping center anyway. All around negative , don't waste your time or money. read more

Again Simky is great but her girls! Ugh. If it wasn't for Simky I would never come back. Her girl in Hallandale is so rude with her half answers ans i cant stand dealing with her. Make an appointment to reassure yourself what location Simky is at and what hours, it's not consistent. Fyi Simky is the owner. She speak great English and is always pleasant to her customers. She shows me each brow between doing the other in a mirror so I can judge it and if I ask for her to get a few extra hairs she doesn't have a problem with it. She really is great and I hope all clients can get her and not the other lady (next to her in Hallandale) read more

Terrible customer service! I purchased a groupon for this establishment for a mani-pedi. I called for an appointment and was told the technician would return my call to book. My call was not returned. A few days later my wife walked in and booked an appointment for me which was a four business day window wait. I showed up for my appointment on time and waited 5 minutes to be greeted. I was told the technician was running late but would arrive soon. The tech arrived 15 minutes late and then refused to honor my groupon as she stated that the tech named on the certificate no longer worked there and that I would have to pay her directly and then request a refund from groupon. I walked out and still need a mani-pedi. I am now attempting to deal with Groupon, what a mess! DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. read more

I've been looking for a good place for threading since I moved from Kendall to North Miami. I read the reviews for this place and thought I'd found it. I went in this past Sunday before noon, there was no one in there (great since I hate to wait). There was only one lady working, I didn't catch her name and she did not offer it. I wanted my eyebrows and upper lip done, when I informed her of this she pointed me towards the price list on the front of the desk. Okay, no big deal, the pricing was less than I thought it would be. She sat me in the chair and without asking if I wanted my brows cleaned up a bit or shaped, she just started working. I was a bit stunned. I think that I may have interrupted her since while she was supposed to have been paying attention to me, she was more concerned with the soccer match taking place on the television. Anyway, she finished off by slathering gel on my brows and then walking to the register to ring me up, all of this without saying a word. She did not offer me a mirror to see the work and check if I was satisfied or if I wanted more taken off. I took some tissues and wiped the globs of gel off of my face and then checked my brows in the mirror. They weren't the best but neither were they the worst threading job that I've had. I paid and left a tip, but I will not be visiting again. Perhaps I caught her on a bad day, but first impressions go a long way with me and this one left a bad taste in my mouth. I will continue to make the drive from North Miami to Kendall every two weeks. It's a bit of a trek, but I know that at least when I get there, they will treat me like a person. read more

Lady fit me in last minute along with my 2 friends and did a spectacular job with my eyebrows!

Really unprofessional place! Run however way they want and think it's okay to open a business at whatever time they want even if they schedule a person at a certain time. Stood there for 20min waiting ended up leaving. The owner tells me well I'm here now and I never see anyone at 11am. Well then you should also have your employee give accurate information and not schedule someone. But instead of apologizing and realizing she is wrong.. she hung up the phone on me! Won't recommend and won't go there again! Waste of time! read more
