An absolute blast! It took a minute to figure out how to start, but we got it figured out. it was great!

Amazing time was had by all! Highly recommend! Good for children! Get the year pass and get all the extra stuff!

Warning: Proceed with Caution! This company has a reputation for enrolling customers into recurring subscriptions--often without clear consent--and makes the cancellation process unnecessarily difficult. Their customer support offers little to no help and provides no assurance of a refund. Even attempts to cancel before the renewal date may be ignored, as this appears to be a common tactic used by the company. Be vigilant before signing up, and read the fine print carefully. read more

The scavenger hunt we did was fun. This negative review is about their billing practices. My wife purchased two tickets to a scavenger hunt in her home town. We could only figure out how to use one of the tickets, so half of the money we spent was wasted. It gets worse. Because the idea was for us and our two kids to do this hunt in teams, and since we couldn't actually use the second ticket, I went ahead and signed up for the 7 day free trial. We did the hunt, and I immediately (less than 24 hours later) sent an email to Let's Roam support to cancel my account. I loathe the fact that I had to send an email instead of simply unsubscribing from my account, but they responded quickly. However, they requested that I fill out a cancellation form in order to cancel, which is was weird, but whatever. I filled out the form as requested. Their email stated that after filling out the form, my subscription would be "promptly terminated". Fast forward 20 days later, and I have a charge on my credit card from scavengerhunts.com (Roam). I then log in to my supposedly cancelled account only to find that it is, in fact, still active. I promptly emailed support letting them know that I would be issuing a chargeback on my credit card account and would be using our written email correspondence as supporting evidence that they had no right to charge my card anymore. I also requested that they actually cancel the account as I requested 20 days prior. Many other reviews on here mention their shady subscription charging/cancellation policies. Get all correspondence in writing, issue a chargeback if your requested cancellation isn't honored, and submit the correspondence to your credit card company. read more

BUYER BEWARE - This company is a total racket. We purchased the VIP experience from Let's Roam and were met with a complete bait and switch. Our salesperson, Maya, was friendly and attentive--until, of course, our credit card payment was processed. After that, any question I asked was met with condescension and tone-policing, as though I were a misbehaving child. Our assigned "Event Coordinator" made all sorts of promises: a host would reach out, we'd get calls to plan things together, and the app had all these amazing features we'd be walked through. None of that ever happened. No calls. No host. No follow-up. When I reached out for help, I was placed on hold for over 35 minutes--during a 120-minute hunt--only to be told someone would email me. Spoiler: they didn't. The next day, after multiple hold transfers, I finally spoke to the "host" who couldn't even be bothered to show up to our hunt. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was transferred to someone who seemed more interested in defending her staff and dismissing my experience as a matter of "perception" than in actually hearing or resolving any of the legitimate issues I raised. With this kind of leadership, it's no wonder our experience was so poor. This was not a VIP experience--it was a lesson in how not to run a business. Do yourself a favor and skip Let's Roam. Save your money and check TripAdvisor instead for top-rated activities in the city you're visiting. You'll thank yourself later. read more

My husband set this up as a surprise date night! It was absolutely wonderful walking around downtown Lawrenceville and learning about the town and community and solving puzzles. It asked for lots of photos along the way, which was also a great experience! 10 out of 10 recommend read more

I downloaded the app, paid for a scavenger hunt and tried to use it. It did not work. I contacted customer service and they noted that there was a problem that prevented it from working on Android phones. I was using an android phone. They promised to refund my money. Just noticed that they still billed me for the service that I couldn't use. I won't be using them again. read more

So much fun. Great team event. Got to know SBS So much fun. Great team event. Got to know SBS

We did the Long Beach Scavenger Hunt. We are familiar with Long Beach, so finding buildings wasn't complicated. We appreciated the bits of history that accompanied each destination. The destination challenges were pretty easy, but I understand that it would be hard to make them more challenging without constantly monitoring the area. The photo challenges were generic, but fun. We walked and enjoyed some fun family time outside. There was a helpful intro video to get us going with logging in and getting App on everyone's phone. App worked great. Overall, great experience. read more

Made the walk fun. Thank you Let's Roam. We now have some fun photos too, rather than just the say cheese photos.

For the price, super worth it! Lots of fun family activities. While the app was glitchy and sometimes confusing, we were able to find most things and it was really well mapped out and we learned a lot of interesting things. Recommended to add a level of activity to your neighborhood and afternoon! read more

stupid! They aren't hunts or scavengers. You won't find anything or learn anything. They are maps to locations of mild interest with no information about them. Challenges are unrelated, repetitive and boring. Bought a year subscription and they won't prorate a refund. Tried 3 hunts and all the same: dumb, uninteresting, and none are curated by anyone who has toured these areas! There are much better hunts! read more

Fun, active and educational. Great way to spend a Saturday with friends and family. Would do again

Amazing!! definitely recommend for everyone to try! So many interesting facts found things in Arkansas

Fun and a great way to explore a new city definitely recommend for couples and families looking for something to do!

The hunt was so much fun! We had such a great time bonding and hiking! Can't wait to do more hunts!

The app itself is great but they keep billing my CC over and over again despite paying for an annual subscription. They have charged an extra 51.99 3 times from July to September. Even after requesting my CC info to be deleted. I cannot recommend this company. read more

great time!!! highly recommend, it's a great way to get together and learn about our home

WARNING!!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD. We cancelled our membership, received confirmation of the cancelation and then proceeded to get billed for 7 months. Upon disputing these bogus charges (several times), we were only offered a partial refund. After multiple efforts to dispute the charges and official complaints filed through the BBB, we were eventually offered a refund. I have never in my life seen a company make a mistake, admit and it then refuse to fix it. Truly incredible... Here is the email of them admitting their mistake and then offering LESS THEN HALF of our money back: Thank you for contacting to Let's Roam. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration this has caused. After reviewing your account, it appears that there was an issue with the cancellation not being processed correctly, which resulted in your subscription being reactivated without your knowledge. I completely understand how frustrating this must be. To make this right, I'm happy to offer a refund for the most recent charge, or up to three months of charges. I hope this helps clear things up, and again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please let us know how you'd like to proceed. Amazing I enjoyed having a fun time with my friends and family doing these challenges

They hosted our end of the year Chiefs employee party. There were blatantly incorrect answers on the hunt. (They claimed everyone got bonus points to make up for that) And speaking of points... the 1st place team has 90k+ points. A bulk of the other teams who had done all the challenges were around 36k points. How is that even possible? When we tried to call them out over it, the hosts ignored and made nonsensical excuses. I won't be playing or using this company in the future. Their customer service left much to be desired. I had to call them in the middle of the hunt when the app wasn't working the way it should have. read more

Fun time with family playing tourist in our own city! The start was closed as we did it on a Sunday, but we could start anyways.

Was super fun! Lots of walking but great to see some of Downtown.....would do another

Discount drone was a whole lot of time. We did the one down in Denver but make sure you bring the water cuz he will be walking a lot.

Total scam. I tried to take my son on an angel island scavenger hunt. Turns out once we were out there that the hunt was on mainland Tiburon. I tried to cancel immediately and deleted the app. I received a charge from them today and contacted customer service to request a refund and ensure my account was canceled. After waiting half an hour of extreme frustration I was informed that I hadn't read their terms of service properly and that they wouldn't do anything for me. They misrepresent their hunts and make it as difficult as possible to cancel. Total 100% scam. Don't waste your money. read more

This was awesome! Would recommend. It's a great way to learn more about a city! Also great way to pass time.

Did the Amana Colonies scavenger hunt. It was not a scavenger hunt. It was a very poorly laid out travel guide of sorts. Very random and not well organized. The trivia had absolutely nothing to do with the Amana colonies. You basically walk around and it tells you to take creative pictures of nothing. We've done city type scavenger hunts before (not this company) that were better priced, much more organized and we actually learned stuff about the city. Would not recommend this company. read more
