WARNING!!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD. We cancelled our membership, received confirmation of the cancelation and then proceeded to get billed for 7 months. Upon disputing these bogus charges (several times), we were only offered a partial refund. After multiple efforts to dispute the charges and official complaints filed through the BBB, we were eventually offered a refund. I have never in my life seen a company make a mistake, admit and it then refuse to fix it. Truly incredible... Here is the email of them admitting their mistake and then offering LESS THEN HALF of our money back: Thank you for contacting to Let's Roam. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration this has caused. After reviewing your account, it appears that there was an issue with the cancellation not being processed correctly, which resulted in your subscription being reactivated without your knowledge. The app itself is great but they keep billing my CC over and over again despite paying for an annual subscription. They have charged an extra 51.99 3 times from July to September. Even after requesting my CC info to be deleted. I cannot recommend this company. read more

Total scam. I tried to take my son on an angel island scavenger hunt. Turns out once we were out there that the hunt was on mainland Tiburon. I tried to cancel immediately and deleted the app. I received a charge from them today and contacted customer service to request a refund and ensure my account was canceled. After waiting half an hour of extreme frustration I was informed that I hadn't read their terms of service properly and that they wouldn't do anything for me. They misrepresent their hunts and make it as difficult as possible to cancel. Total 100% scam. Don't waste your money. read more

Did the Amana Colonies scavenger hunt. It was not a scavenger hunt. It was a very poorly laid out travel guide of sorts. Very random and not well organized. The trivia had absolutely nothing to do with the Amana colonies. You basically walk around and it tells you to take creative pictures of nothing. We've done city type scavenger hunts before (not this company) that were better priced, much more organized and we actually learned stuff about the city. Would not recommend this company. read more

We did the Long Beach Scavenger Hunt. We are familiar with Long Beach, so finding buildings wasn't complicated. We appreciated the bits of history that accompanied each destination. The destination challenges were pretty easy, but I understand that it would be hard to make them more challenging without constantly monitoring the area. The photo challenges were generic, but fun. We walked and enjoyed some fun family time outside. There was a helpful intro video to get us going with logging in and getting App on everyone's phone. App worked great. They hosted our end of the year Chiefs employee party. There were blatantly incorrect answers on the hunt. (They claimed everyone got bonus points to make up for that) And speaking of points... the 1st place team has 90k+ points. A bulk of the other teams who had done all the challenges were around 36k points. How is that even possible? When we tried to call them out over it, the hosts ignored and made nonsensical excuses. I won't be playing or using this company in the future. Their customer service left much to be desired. I had to call them in the middle of the hunt when the app wasn't working the way it should have. read more

This is great to learn about history of the area you're in and unique architecture. When the afternoon is nice out, we go explore.

Bozeman was a bust. We went to 3 locations, 2 were closed and 1 was someone's personal property to show architecture of the past. We stopped after the 3 stop due to uneventful sites. Also found the site hard to navigate and never got my team mate to join the sight. read more
