NOTE: They sold drinks at the front and required you to purchase your drinks ahead of time before entering the room. The room had a small fridge to keep them cool. We played survey battle, match up wars, cups (not like you've seen) and more. Our team had a blast, cause we won. The blue team had fun too but wants a rematch. (Though if others had been there the place is large enough it would have been totally fine!) We ordered drinks, and then we were given the rundown of how it works, and were given time to choose our patterns and types of garments. Once we were all ready to screen print, the staff member (wish I knew her name, she was awesome), walked us through the whole process to ensure everyone's project came out perfectly. Then they go through the dryer and are ready to wear, or wash at home! We all proceeded to wear our shirts to our 9:15pm dinner reservation! Highly recommend as a solo activity, date night, or group event. The prices are so reasonable and it's a great time. One thing to note for open studio is that there are rotating designs already set up with ink colors, so while you can choose your garment type and color, you can't change the colors on the designs that are set out as options. But there are a lot of options to choose from!

Great to host a group event like ours. There were about 20+ designs including sleeve prints and pocket prints. We were allowed 2 designs per shirt. You can choose 2 large prints, in front, on the back, pocket or sleeves. You're the creation to your shirt. They offer t-shirts, long sleeves, tank tops, sweaters, even shorts! Screen printing isn't the only thing they're known for, but they served some good drinks and mocktails also. All the staff were attentive and very helpful with a bunch of veterans. It was a great few hours to take your mind off your daily grinds.

But since we had the location to ourselves on a Monday, that number was fine. Kayla and Whitney were so great, they made sure everyone had everything they needed and kept the drinks flowing. I highly recommend partnering with Upstairs Circus for team building events team events friend events or just a fun time doing something creative. The diy projects vary in difficulty and mostly, it's something that you make and take with you. This place was a dream!! Now, I'm an experienced crafter myself, while my girlfriend is not so much, but I'm happy to say both of us were able to enjoy it. The bar menu was also plentiful, with a variety of signature cocktails, some limited wine selections, and even some holiday-inspired shots! However, what a treat it was. Chef Alex was very friendly, and he adapted well to our kitchen area. We started with making a bolognese. Once that was in the oven, we made ricotta! It tasted amazing. I will be making it again. We roasted tomatoes and pancetta and enjoyed a delicious bruschetta with an arugula salad and a homemade vinaigrette. This was followed by making our own pasta, cooking it, and smothering it with the bolognese. For dessert, we enjoyed a caramel custard that tasted like werther's caramels. The whole menu is Chef Alex's own creation. This was a meal we would order at a nice restaurant. Very delicious and now we can make it at home for ourselves. I also want to add that my 9 year old granddaughter joined in on the fun. Chef Alex was very patient with her and took extra time to explain the process with her. You are better off booking with the venue hosting the cooking classes directly. I had purchased this class as a Christmas present for my partner and I. I chose an "Exciting Spanish Meal" after reviewing all of the options available. CozyMeal confirmed details numerous times before the class. When we arrived, we weren't cooking the meal that I had booked, it was actually a French meal (all of the components I had already cooked myself numerous times so this wasn't much of a class for me). I let the chef know we had signed up for a different class and he said it must be a glitch with the CozyMeal system, as that venue had the French class booked that night for months prior. I contacted CozyMeal customer service the next day and they said they were escalating my issue, whatever that means. I was shuffled around between three different customer service members, all saying they were waiting for an update. I didn't hear back for two weeks so I inquired again if there were any updates, they said they were still waiting. I contacted twice more for follow up after that, one a week after, one three weeks after, and still to this day have not received another email or any communication or "updates" from CozyMeal. My class was January 12th and it is now March 27th and I have not received any further communication from them. These classes are not cheap, I spent $89 per person for a class I did not sign up for, that was of no value to me at all. That is why I said book with the venue directly instead of CozyMeal, at least you will have peace of mind of where your money is getting spent, and won't get ignored by customer service after spending $180 on a class you have no idea if you will actually get to take.

This place is definitely fun and it will absolutely get you up and moving. There are a lot of rooms, but some of them are smaller or don't have as many activities as I expected, so I found myself getting through things pretty quickly. I think that was probably my biggest issue because when you're paying for a certain amount of time, you want to feel like there's enough to keep you entertained for that entire time. I also think it's a little overpriced for what you actually get. I had fun and I definitely got some exercise, so I don't feel like the experience was completely wasted, but I'm not sure the amount of activities really matches the price. If there were more things to do or more variety between the rooms, I think it would feel more worth it. That being said, I can definitely see this being a fun place for a birthday party or group outing. Having a bunch of people together would probably make it more entertaining because you can challenge each other, run around together, and make your own fun instead of relying completely on the activities to keep you entertained.
