We got great pricing on our business class flights to Italy. However the customer service during our trip was very poor. We were booked on a short flight from Pisa to London on British air on our last day in Italy prior to returning to the states. We had booked a half day tour in London on our little time there before catching our flight back. Two days prior to leaving London I got an email from British air simply saying our flight was cancelled. I called immediately and was told that our only option was a 4 hour flight to Helsinki then an additional four flight back to London. This was not only costing us our tour and time in London but I am handicapped and we booked the economy flight because it was so short and I felt I could manage it. I immediately contacted let's fly cheaper explained the situation and was told basically it sucked to be me. I understand that they can't control cancelled flights but there was no concern for my issues with the long flight or any offer to see if they could upgrade us or even change to another airline. Their answer to the problem was that I could either take the long trip or request a refund from British air and book my own flight. Sometimes saving money is not worth the lack of customer service. I feel we should have been advised while booking our flight that Pisa was a small airport and we might have been better going into a larger airport. Unless you are willing to deal with all problems during yourself I suggest using another service Once your money is paid, you are on your own. read more
