Technically, you cannot go into the offices but you can check out the Google store, gift shop, cafe, big art plaza, and workshops. There is free parking at the garage nearby which is a piece of art itself. You can either take the shuttle which arrives every 15 minutes or walk about 7-10 minutes to the Google canopy. Once you arrive, you'll see the different parts that you can explore. My favorite 2 things to do there is the cafe which has so many inexpensive food and drink options and also the big artwork along the plaza. Even on crowded days, the big artwork is easy to check out and take pictures. I love the big white orb which is a massive twisted, metal sculpture that looks futuristic and very cool inside and outside. The bear is cute also because it is made completely out of pennies! You won't be disappointed by the big, fun, whimsical and spectacular big art at Google. It's like a free outdoor museum. My other favorite part of the experience is the cafe. Ordering is simple and the menu changes often. The cafe uses ingredients from a lot of local farms and bakeries. It keeps the menu quite cheap as most items are under $15 and even under $10! That is unheard of nowadays. Try the potato soup and you'll thank me. It is creamy, addictive and do yourself a favor and get the big bowl. The sandwiches are top notch and they use Acme bread which is already an awesome treat. After the art, the store, the cafe; you can easily take a hike to Shoreline and check out the amazing views from the top of the hill as well. So check out the Google Visitor Experience and it has much more to offer than other Silicon Valley experiences.

At Alta Garage there's a shuttle that runs from 10am to 7pm 7 days a week that takes you to the Visitor Center every 15 minutes. The parking and shuttle are also free. There's podium with greeters in green that can give a run a down on the visitor experience and they also have QR codes that gives you all the information you need as well about the Visitor experience. The Google store is cool with branded swag to the right and all the devices to the left of the store. The Cafe has really great food and they are locally sourced from local farms. Then theres the pop up shop that sells products from local businesses inside of the Huddle which is one of coolest places. It's a mixture of a library slash Dave n busters with all the games, board games that's there. The patio area outside is spacious and has tons of umbrellas which you can relax and enjoy a meal. Last but not least all burning man art pieces they have on campus that are exclusive to Google are really cool. If you have family or friends visiting from out of town take them to the Visitor Experience and spend the whole day here.

The dining area was up one floor. There were plenty of room on the floor for everyone to dance. A live DJ and bar. Besides our office party, there was a birthday and anniversary party. A few others were on dates. The boat pushed off the dock slowly and was speeding along the water. We circled the entire bay passing all the landmarks, seeing the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge, passing Tiburon where the San Rafael bridge and Belvedere Island can be seen. I've never gone out that far. Boat wasn't too rocky. It was enough for people in heels to move around the boat and catch the scenery. It was great seeing the city lights and the Bay Bridge lightshow. It's been a decade since the lights on the Bay Bridge were off. Food was well made and delicious. I ordered the dumplings for appetizer, steak and toffee crunch chocolate cake. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Taste -- The tea probably came off the local supermarket shelf, which is fine, but let's just say that we are pretty serious about our tea. My friend literally pulled a sachet of tea out of her bag and we were tempted to ask them to use that instead. The scones were dense but tasty. We were surprised that they were not served with clotted cream. The savory sandwiches were just OK -- pickled cucumbers, smoked salmon, and chicken salad on slightly stale baguettes. There was a slice of red velvet cake, a dry macaron, and a square of a mango mousse reminiscent of those you get at an Asian buffet. 0.5/1 Stars for Value -- We pre-booked online for a regular tea set on a Sunday, it was $39 before tax and tip. If we were rating by sheer picture perfect presentation, sure, your money is well spent. But I would eat before you come and maybe grab some McDs after. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- Our server was super nice and friendly. It wasn't busy when we went and he let me chill at the table while I waited for my friends to arrive. They also didn't pressure us to leave, coming back multiple times to offer tea refills. My friends stayed and chatted for almost 4 hours. No bonus star because, even though the ostriches are cool, would not come back again for the afternoon tea.

Several other tables had arrived before us, yet none of them were approached. This treatment felt unfair and left a very bad taste in my mouth. After many years of enjoying my membership, this experience has made me seriously consider canceling it. Please be better.

I remember taking the kids here when they were little and that was over 10 years ago…read more We came over from over the East Bay to beat the heat and brought our pup. When trying to decide where to get dinner on Main Street, we couldn't make a decision. My husband suggested Cameron's so we drove over. Dog Friendly: Lucked out with a spot in front of the patio! Lucked out with a table (anywhere) to sit with our dog. They offer water bowls and toys to play with while we're dining. My dog was able to chill for the most part (larger dogs make our rescue pup nervous) but he liked the couple behind us. Eclectic: It's a cool place with different dining areas. They were setting up for Karaoke (Friday/Saturday nights). There's so much to explore with all the knick knacks. The playlist in the dining room area was a wide range of music - I don't know how to explain it but you're listening to "It's a Small World" and then "Sweet Caroline!" You have to see it for yourself. The gender assigned restrooms are located in between the pinball machines. I literally walked outside and then walked back in when I finally found it and was embarrassed! Food: We split the special of the day - prime rib sandwich, but my husband was still hungry and we split a sampler platter. The food was what I expected - pub grub but it was worth it with the vibe. Drink: I usually don't drink but their cocktails were really good. I forgot what I had but it was the rum based drink. The food was good, could have been a little better, I had fish and chips and partner had the shepards' pie. The fish and chips were good I would totally eat them again. But the shepard's pie was not good. It was completely unseasoned. He tried adding some HP sauce to a few bites, adding salt and pepper, and just could not make it edible. he was really disappointed because that is one of his favorites. I told him he should mention it and see if they could bring him something else, but he was adamant that would just make more work for them and he'd feel bad. I did remind him that shepards' pie is not a very seasoned meal. And he said it wasn't just that, but that everything tasted like it came out of tin. I reminded him, as a human who has lived in England, that this was also not out of the ordinary. We did decide we'd try it again next time we were over that way, and he already has chosen something else to try, so the rest of it (including his Mango Cider) was good enough to have him not give up on it. But maybe steer clear of the Shepard's Pie?
