We just came back from a 2 night stay at Stanly Ranch and I was compelled to write a review this time because the service is a lot better than our 2 previous stays. Our first visit was in 2023 when they had just opened less than a year. We stayed in an Arbor Cottage, which was the standalone cottage with a super spacious and luxurious bathroom and outdoor shower. Second stay was in 2025 in which we stayed in the Rambler, which also had a spacious bathrooms and outdoor shower and back patio. Downside was that our room was located all the way at the top of the hill by the employee parking, making it a trek to and from the pool. Our most recent stay was in a Acre room, which I think was the best for our family. It was quite spacious with living area but the bathroom was much smaller than the Arbor and Rambler, with no outdoor shower. But in all honesty, it was perfect because my boys cared more about the swimming pool than anything else. During this last visit, we were immediately greeted by Tom, and Isiah helped with our checkin. They were incredibly attentive and helpful. Our previous visits did not have such a warm checkin experience. I also appreciate that they put us in a room closer to the pool. There really is no reason to leave the ranch once you're checked in. The food onsite is incredible, but pricey (it's nominal considering you're already paying a lot to stay though). I will admit they used to have a great deal where kids eat free, and I wish they brought that back. And a must try is the lavender morning bun from Gavel! It's perfectly flaky, smooth, sweetened just right with the lavender sugar that isn't overwhelming. I wish I had bought more to bring home! Overall this is a wonderful resort worth the splurge, especially for families even if it doesn't seem like it at a first glance. They have a shallow kiddy pool as well, and lots of activities for kids on site. There's also breathtaking views from the adults only pool at Halehouse and from Infinity Hill. We especially want to recognize Rachel from Guest Services. She was outstanding. Every time we called with a question or request, she took care of it immediately with kindness and professionalism. She truly made our stay special and deserves to be recognized. A big thank you as well to Ben, the Front Desk Manager, along with Chris, Olivia, and Yazmin at the front desk. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond. The complimentary Mercedes-Benz house cars were an amazing touch and one of our favorite parts of the stay. One word to describe our stay at Stanly Ranch Auberge magnificent. The guys at the front once you arrive are the best, Calvin, Max are hands down the best guys, service is top notch, bear resturant has great food, Gravel coffee shop has some great coffee, pastries, and few good food to eat. The window has good ice cream, the rooms are nice a give a cozy home feeling. They offer a lot of other amenities like gym, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, spa, and more must try which we didn't. Booked two massages 4 weeks in advance for a relaxing spa day with my friend visiting from NYC. I'm 7 months pregnant, so this was supposed to be an easy, stress free day. We drove up from SF only to be told they didn't have a female therapist available for her, despite my email confirmation stating otherwise. We then sat around for over an hour waiting for the manager to give us an update with no solution. We left and booked last minute massages at the Four Seasons instead, who were accommodating and polite from the first phone call. I will not be returning to Stanly Ranch. read more

We loved our stay from start to finish! Stanly Ranch has a modern wellness ranch esthetic and vibe, with friendly staff who want to help you but recognize when you don't want their help. We were able to check in a little early, get a late check-out beyond our expectations, and enjoyed upgraded rooms (it's the slow season in Napa). The rooms are gorgeous. We used the gym, locker rooms, jacuzzi, plus the salt room/steam room/dry sauna, and everything was spotless. Unfortunately, the steam room was broken one day, and the hyperbaric chamber was broken our entire stay. We also dined at Bear, and while it was surprisingly slow to get our meals, the wait staff were wonderful. Shout-outs to Christine at Bear and the incredibly hard-working woman who never stopped cleaning the gym. read more

We have stayed at Auberge du Soleil a few times and we felt like the service declined. Stanly Ranch is breathtaking. It is so unique, modern, and top tier across the board. Some of the highlights: Food at Bear was delicious and it felt like the traditional California cuisine prevalent in Napa but with a ranch vibe. The suite itself was outstanding. Beautiful dining area and bedroom, as well as a fire pit outside and an outdoor shower. The only thing that would have been better would be if it were more private. However, you can see the grapevines from the room, so it is worth it. As far as the staff is concerned, there were some all star, above and beyond members: Olivia at the front desk Marco who helped with our luggage upon arrival Haley at Bear Cameron at valet Thank you for an unforgettable experience! This property is gorgeous. Love the mixture of modern, farm, privacy and wildlife. The ranch hands are here to valet and cart you around the property in a cool ranch style golf cart. There is a beautiful restaurant and coffee shop to keep you fed and caffeinated. Two pools; one for family and another for adults. Food and beverages available at the pools. The spa facility is incredible (salt room, steam, etc) as well as massage therapy in a separate bungalow. The gym has the standards and a classroom, along with a nice collection of Theragun physical therapy tools. The service is great and everyone is super friendly. One of my favorite things is the wildlife on property. We had a family of wild turkeys hanging out on our patio one evening. We can also feed the farm chickens at noon. Getting away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I chose to stay up at Stanly Ranch. The grounds are lovely and offer a peaceful setting for a getaway from the kids. It's probably the first time I've slept in past 8am in 5 years! The Lavender Pool was a nice area to lounge around as well... There are electric golf carts to hustle you around the property, but we chose to walk most of it. The food offered at the Bear (its main restaurant) was good, though pricey (as expected) and the Gavel, the hotels coffee shop offered good coffee and pastries (though a bit limited). Without a doubt though, the service level was impeccable! Given how hard it is to hire good staff, everyone we encountered was friendly and very attentive to us. Every single staff member was hospitable, which is a great sign that the property is managed very well. read more

I stayed at Stanly Ranch on July 24th for my birthday and returned on August 13th for my 14th anniversary. This is only the second hotel I've tried in Napa, but from now on, Stanly Ranch is my go-to for overnight trips. The experience was amazing: top-notch staff, a beautiful setting, and cozy rooms. We took full advantage of the amenities, including the spa, where I had my first cold plunge and lymphatic drainage. My second stay was even better. I enjoyed a Rambler 1 Bedroom King Suite, complete with a double-sided fireplace, a separate living room with a dining table for four, and a trellised terrace with a fire pit and lounge seating. The suite was luxury at its finest, and the resort's multiple pools, amazing spa, and great staff made the experience unforgettable. I'll definitely be back next year! read more

We had an opportunity to experience the Stanley Ranch Auberge resort over the Fourth of July weekend, and it was an unforgettable mini-vacation. From the time we booked our stay, the concierge and the front desk teams were in close contact with us, providing information about our check-in, offering program schedules, and helping with booking various restaurants, wellness activities, and other activities. We arrived early in the morning, and even though our room was not available, we were able to check in, have breakfast at the amazing Bear, and use the adult pool as well as the spa facilities inside the Springhouse. We booked the Springhouse (salt room, steam room, and sauna) ahead of time for every day of our stay. We also purchased the lymphatic massage and the cold plunge. We enjoyed every wellness activity immensely. The staff at the check-in counter of the Halehouse spa, the Springhouse attendants, the masseuse, and the service staff at the adult pool were all extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and highly professional. I loved the fact that they took the time to memorize our names! The suite was ready at approximately 2 PM. We were notified via a text message and offered to have our card keys delivered to wherever we were on the property. The communication throughout our stay was extremely efficient - both via text and email. We received daily schedules, reminders about booked activities, and additional information about the live music, falconry, farmer's market, etc. We began every morning with a walk to the Gavel coffee shop for high-quality coffee drinks as well as fresh and delicious pastries (their pistachio croissants were irresistible). Then we would use their bikes to ride around their massive property, surrounded by beautifully manicured vineyards and different types of lavender and other field flowers. The property views took us back to the South of France. After the bike ride, we would have breakfast at the onsite Bear restaurant, which was simply exquisite. The food at the Bear was so delicious that we decided to cancel all of our dinner reservations at other local restaurants and eat all of our meals at the Bear. Our suite was spacious, modernly decorated, and fully stocked with complimentary teas, coffee, sodas, fruits, and water. They also had various snacks and bottles of alcoholic beverages available for purchase. The backyard door opened to a round loveseat, a small fire pit, and a perfectly manicured green vineyard. This place provided us with an amazing, relaxing, and memorable experience, and we will definitely make future plans to visit this breathtaking property again. read more

Such an amazing experience! This was my first time coming to Napa as an adult and I had the pleasure of staying here. We originally had a king cottage and they upgraded us to a rambler suite. The employees at the front wear cowboy hats and are dressed like ranchers which is a cute touch. There's also a promotion with Mercedes right now so there's 7 vehicles on property available to rent. We rented one for the day and it was super easy to book. First come first serve, just give an id and less than 5 minutes of paperwork. They also have plenty of golf carts on property to drive you to and from your room. Our room was so stunning with two restrooms, high ceilings, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, and the decor was so pleasing. We also had the chance to try the spa which was great, both our massage therapists were so kind. The room service is also better than most hotels and it's a cute touch that you can do smore's at your fireplace. Cannot wait to come back! read more

I had high expectations for Stanly Ranch given its reputation and the price point, but unfortunately, my stay was far from the luxury experience I was promised. First, the service was shockingly underwhelming. From the moment we arrived, staff seemed distracted and disorganized. Our room wasn't ready at check-in time, and we were given little explanation or apology for the delay. When we finally got to the room, it looked nice at first glance, but small issues piled up: the AC wasn't working properly, the shower leaked, and housekeeping missed a day entirely. The property itself is aesthetically beautiful, but it feels more like style over substance. There's very little shade or greenery in many parts, which made it unpleasant to walk around during the day. Also, be aware that this place gets loud--between the pool parties, wedding events, and other guests, it was hard to relax or feel like you were in a peaceful retreat. Dining was another let down. The restaurants are overpriced even by Napa standards, and the food was forgettable. We waited nearly 45 minutes for breakfast one morning with no explanation and lukewarm coffee when it finally arrived. For the rates they're charging, you'd expect world-class hospitality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, Stanly Ranch feels more like a trendy Instagram backdrop than a true luxury resort. There are far better options in Napa that deliver a more authentic, relaxing, and well-run experience. read more

I'm specifically reviewing Sabrina from the spa (masseuse), she was absolutely amazing. I recently stayed at Stanly with a large group for a work event, and had the pleasure of receiving a massage by Sabrina. She was so attentive to my needs and was able to tailor the massage to my specific discomfort that day. I haven't been able to swim since last Sunday due to shoulder tenderness, and Sabrina fixed it. Perfect place for couples. We saw more hummingbirds than I count on one hand! The property is full of native plants and flowers that attract hummingbirds and bees. We also had a nice fire pit and cushy round-couch on our front patio in beautiful 19B. The giant salt-water pool surrounded by lavender was a private soak for us one night and even once during the day. This place is only a year old--as opposed to its partner Napa spots--so there's a lot of space and privacy right now. Yay. We did a long four-day stay. The adult-only infinity pool has a gorgeous view. Both pools are flanked by jacuzzis. We got a couples massage with two very different talented masseuses: one very light-touch and one deep--and I mean deep--tissue. If you ask for whomever does the deepest tissue you're sure to find her. They offer spa drop-ins during the week (as in, no need to book an overnight) which would be a nice option for locals. The dry sauna is gorgeous with floor-to-ceiling wood and floor-to-ceiling windows. Stanly Ranch has a different aesthetic from the more-polished Solage as it takes the integration with the area concept to another level. There are also awesome classes including falconry! We got to hold the cutest owls ever and a falcon that Rebecca--who I hope Stanly Ranch treats as the best--uses to control pests on vineyards. Yay to no spray and working with Nature! We also borrowed bikes before sunset one night and rode past sonorous eucalyptus. This place also had a cute chicken feeding time and an ice cream window with corn ice cream. There were sweet touches around every corner including complementary delicious sparkling wine in the Ranch House. And I didn't even yet gush about Bear. read more

Major turn off...was considering booking there later this year and got part way through a reservation. I decided against proceeding due to conflict in dates and then was emailed twice and called about if I still wanted to book. I'm not sure this hotel understands guests who can afford to stay there do not value being contacted obsessively about an abandoned reservation. 3 times in under 24 hours? I find Auberge properties to be the gold standard for 5-star hotels. In fact, several hotels from this collection have been acknowledged by the Michelin guide (a first!) and I believe this specific one was honored with a 1 key rating. Stanly Ranch is also dog-friendly! Our pup enjoyed his stay nearly as much as we did. We were greeted with white-glove service the minute we drove up to the hotel. The ranch hands alerted the front desk we were on our way to check-in while they handled our luggage and offered us welcome refreshments. They then personally escorted us to our room and gave us a tour. You can always call to arrange a pick-up at any time and the ranch hands will kindly shuttle you anywhere on the property. Throughout the duration of our stay, we were fairly impressed by the lengths staff went to ensure guests were happy. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Staff also keep an eye out for what you like/dislike and seem to make a note of it for future service. I believe guests have a "resume" or a profile (kind of like a preference sheet if you watch Below Deck). Celebs have also been known to stay here if you're into rubbing shoulders with the elite. While the coffee shop and Bear were enjoyable, I think there should be more dining options on the property itself - especially if you're staying for more than a couple of days. I would also appreciate more complimentary activities given the rooms already cost so much. Lavender seems to be integrated throughout the property and has been associated as their signature scent. The lavender soap in the rooms is the absolute best! I kept a couple of bars to use at home because I loved it so much. The gym is also one of the nicest hotel gyms I've utilized. Everything is technogym and it is so luxe. Pools were all well-maintained and are heated (at least the one by the gym is, plus it's a salt water pool). Also check out the spa/sauna services! I wandered around exploring the various rooms at Halehouse and found the space to be quite empty during my entire stay. Would come back in a heartbeat! read more

Our recent experience with Stanly Ranch exceeded all expectations, thanks to a truly remarkable staff member Morgan who showed us extraordinary kindness during a family medical emergency. When we were unable to be at the hotel as planned, Morgan - who promptly answered our phone call from the front desk - stepped in to assist our elderly relative, who was waiting for us at the resort. Not only did Morgan & Stanly Ranch's security team locate our relative quickly and ensure she was comfortable (& with coffee!), Morgan also connected our seemingly unreachable relative with us via phone & directed them to their waiting car. Although our trip was interrupted, we have a deep gratitude for Morgan & the Stanly Ranch team. Couldn't imagine reserving at any other place when such a stressful time occurred. A delicious + light lunch with a beautiful view (not pictured). I had the egg white omelette with a side of greens. I asked for a substitution of onion instead of the cheese which was amazing with the broccoli. Also had a fresh pressed chamomile tea which I really appreciated because a lot of places only carry those plastic tea bags! Only note/negative was that my glass of water initially had food on the rim to which staff quickly replaced when I brought their attention to it. The servers were polite and attentive. Stanly Ranch Auberge Collection - Egg white omelette - Resorts Near Me - Napa, California

I'm a regular, the property is very nice and while in a colder part of the valley is still nice in the summer. The service has historically been good and the restaurant is what you'd expect at a resort in wine country. However, today I showed up at 1pm to check in and my suite wasn't ready. That's fair, check-in isn't guaranteed until 4pm but the front desk said they notified housekeeping and accelerated it. Come 4pm, still no contact, I head back to the front desk. They inform me that the suite won't be ready until 5:30-6:30pm and there's nothing they can do about it. I inform them I have dinner reservations up the valley and need somewhere to shower and change. Unfortunately they couldn't offer anything because the spa had already closed for the day. For something this expensive, I expect to at least get the suite I paid for...but we will see if we ever even get a room key. For folks traveling from out of town and the country, plan to stay elsewhere. I travel a lot and there's nothing worse than taking a long trip and not having anywhere to be even when you paid top of market for it. Even worse is the lack of any effort to resolve. This review is for spa amenities, Fieldhouse Flow yoga class, the restaurant, coffee shop, and grounds. I was NOT staying at the hotel as a guest. I was able to take a yoga class here. I reserved my class ahead of time. There seemed to be miscommunication with the front desk, other staff, and the yoga teacher because multiple people walked in who didn't have a reservation for class but were told they didn't need to reserve a spot. It got a little more crowded than expected but was still a fun class with a gorgeous view of the infinity sign sculpture and vineyards. The women's locker room reminded me of the Aritizia clothing store--chic, minimal, classy. They had nice products and items one might need to freshen up! Even stuff I've seen at Sephora! The women's locker room had a wet sauna, you walk out of the locker room and down a bit to go to a different building with their dry sauna and salt room! We had brunch at the Bear restaurant and it was divine! We also got coffee at their gift shop/ cafe Gavel. It was fine. Good service but $8 for an oat milk latte with mint syrup is way too overpriced for me. Several of their syrups are homemade which is nice. All staff members I interacted with were nice and helpful. The yoga instructor M.E was great! The grounds were gorgeous. This place IS luxury. I had a lovely relaxing day here! read more

Highlights - Resort Pass for a nice pool day on a weekday: WORTH it! - Pool chairs are nicely dispersed around the main pool and cabanas are nicely elevated and above near the bar. - Complimentary bottled still or sparkling water and sunscreen available for use at the front check in. - Poolside service was superb! Towels are laid out for your chair that you choose. Thank you Caesar for going above and beyond for delivering a delicious a warmed lavender bun from Gavel their coffee shop (MUST try!). He didn't have to, but since I asked he brought it. Think Kouign amann with a hint of lavender. He kept checking on us while in the pool and outside throughout our stay. - Skip the mocktails and make sure to order the guac and chips. Something about the crispy thick homemade tasting chips. - Three pools in different separated areas: hot tub, main pool, and mini shallow pool. Pools weren't busy, quiet, and they had a pool noodle, floating lifesaver, lounging float to use. - Bathrooms were clean and spacious. - Outdoor showers for use that are semi covered. Improvements - None really, the mocktail that I got didn't taste good IMO and was pricey. Tips - Parking is easy and plentiful, stay for your entire session to enjoy the relaxing vibe. read more

It'squintessential Napa with grapes vines all around all around the property. If you're familiar with the area, you may be wondering how this compares to staying at nearby Auberge in Rutherford. Way overpriced, I tried booking a room and they were charging $2000 for my stay, which is ridiculous considering they got my room wrong, and my order wrong at the restaurant. I will not be coming back, and I will proudly say that I did a charge back on my chase card when they refused to comp my order. I make sure that my other colleagues do not book here. read more

Upon arrival we were quickly and politely greeted by Roman. Roman took care of having our vehicle valeted and plugged in. Roman escorted us to the reception area where we were offered, wine or lavender lemonade. I spoke with the receptionist, Linda, who checked me in and told us our room was ready! Linda also provided helpful information about the property. Roman than swooped us up in an R2D2 looking cart and drove us to our bungalow. The room was awesome and everything was explained to us in regard to using the lights, opening and closing drapes. The bathroom floors were heated and there was a private outdoor shower! Our room had a seating area outside, with a fire-pit, that faced the sunset. The facility had a ton to offer to include a huge family pool, a kids pool and an adults only pool. There is a Peloton and a variety of other workout equipment. Service was on point and the property was just stunning. Wish I could live there!!! The only negative was room service. Our order was cold, wrong and $105...pancakes, eggs and nothing else but a bowl of fruit. read more

Got a deep tissue massage that was incredible; strong pressure, meticulous and intentional technique, respectful, calm and kind male masseuse. Two pools - one adult only. Both nice but I prefer the adult only pool (which is smaller and quieter). The kid friendly one is larger and can get quite rambunctious with children jumping around and splashing). They offer cabanas along with ample loungers and umbrellas. Pool food was delicious. Everything on the menu is delicious! Also full bar by the larger pool is a plus. Small coffee shop/cafe on site with great drink menu and simple foods like sandwiches and salads for grab and go. The only downside to my weekend stay was dinner at Bear was a little underwhelming. Room service food was DELISH! Definitely a must when planning a stay in Napa! read more
